We had a "non-sea-facing" room, but it had a private balcony, with the most incredible view of the ocean on the side of the hotel. The receptionist was charming, efficient and friendly. The car park was free. This was like stepping back in time to old-world luxury. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the Adriatic was a magnificent buffet in a wonderful setting. I would recommend the Bristol to anyone visiting Lovran or Opatija. It is a 5-min. Bus ride into Opatija, which has much more expensive hotels and restaurants. There is also the Lungamare walk right in front of Bristol, all along the ocean. We could not have an a la carte meal in the evening, only a full buffet which we thought too expensive. So we opted for a nearby restaurant. An a la carte evening menu would be welcome! |

The hotel is nicely located, very near the seaside. The breakfast was excellent (lot of vegetables). The rooms on the northern side of the hotel are fine - not too hot but with a nice view. On Friday night be beware of a very noise music (till 3 o'clock) from the disco on the beach, it should be a problem for each hotel in Lovran. |

Very spacious rooms in the corners of the Hotel. Splendid view onto the sea from a large balcony! Soviet style interior from the 70ties, nice personnel, clean and comfortable. Even has couch. Good value for money. |

Closeness to the city center (Zagreb). It was supposed to be close to the Zagreb Airport. The address of the Hotel had been changed, I could not locate it on my GPS. |

The location is good. Little bit noise. Small rooms and smelly bathroom in the morning from the neighbor .... (I hope tis was this only room with this smelly problem). Minibar in the rooms. |

Location is very good - near the promenade. The breakfast is great (though they point out not to take food away...). We liked the view from our porch to the sea. The hotel is very old and needs restoration. You can hear the plumming and sounds from adjacent rooms. The room is quite small. TV is tiny and the volume is blocked to a certain level. Didn't like the attitude of the concierge during 2 days of stay. Upon leaving there was a different concierge, who was much nicer and friendlier. |

I liked the atmosphere of the hotel, you feel the past hundred year's history. The breakfast hall is beautiful, breakfast delicious, everything is spacy. Just a recommendation; it would be nice if one could request room looking to the see or park on your homepage as well. |

Ich kenne Hotel Bristol seit über zwanzig Jahren, bin immer wieder gern dort, da das Haus zu den großzügigen Hotelbauten der KuK-Zeit gehört, über einen guten technischen Standard verfügt, ausgezeichnetes polyglottes Personal hat, eine exzellente Lage am Meer und an dem berühmten Fußwanderweg nach Opatija hat. Lovran ist ein reizvoller Ort, dem man die venezianische Vergangenheit ansieht, mit mehreren guten bis sehr guten Restaurants unhd Cafés und einer freundlichen Bevölkerung. Wir fahren wieder hin! Das Leitungswasser in Lovran ist nicht besonders gut. Für das Hotelfrühstück bedeutet das, daß Café und Tee nicht so schmecken, wie man sich es wünscht. |

Das große Zimmer mit Balkon zur Seeseite mit Meeresrauschen. Als Durchreisende (2 Pers.) wurden wir an der Reception beim Bezahlen etwas kurz gehalten abgefertigt ( wir hatten nur 1 Nacht gebucht). Leute mit längerem Aufenthalt wurden freundlicher bedient. |

Personale cordiale, colazione in terrazza vista mare. Le camere e i bagni sono puliti e con buona vista. In zona centrale dell'istria consente di raggiungere Pula, Premantura, Rovinij e l'isola di cres in poco più di un'ora. Le camere sono curate e complete ma migliorabili con il rinnovamento degli arredi ma soprattutto dei bagni |
