Only 300 metres from a pebbly beach, Villa Kljunak is set in a green area of the small village of Zaton. It offers free Wi-Fi and free parking. The Old Town of Dubrovnik is 12 km away.
Score from 19 reviews Very good

We stayed here for one night as we were catching a flight the next morning and it is only a few minutes away from the terminal. The room we had was large and clean with a functional bathroom including a shower cubicle. The water was hot though. The double bed wasn't super comfortable but for one night OK. The wi-fi worked well outside the room but not in it. The owner is terrific and offered us refreshments, coffee, cake and even took us to the airport the next day. As we had the afternoon free, we took a walk to Cavtat which is about 3.5 km away and takes about 40 minutes at a reasonable pace. A bit of uphill haul on the return but a nice diversion. So whilst it is basic accommodation, the tariff at 20 Euros coupled with a nice host makes it good value and OK for a one night stay.
Unfortunately the hand held shower head did not have a high bracket on the wall to which it could be attached so it wasn't the easiest showering experience. The lower fitted sheet to the double bed didn't fit too well and kept 'unhooking' and as there were only single sheets and single blankets on a cold night, we two struggled to keep the bed coverings in place overnight. The towels were very small and very stiff.
Good location, view, service and great breakfast. Very accommodating hosts. Value for money
The service and the countryside
Breakfast was freshly prepared and good. The young fellow in charge was very helpful and speaks good english.
The location is close to Dubrovnik airport, but the driving directions are not good enough. We arrived at 1:00 AM and there is no one to ask at that hour. It is not clear where to turn right from the main road. The GPS did not help. Only a phone call to the hotel helped us. We recommend to coordinate a pick-up from the airport if you arrive in the middle of the night
The owner and his son looked after us very well and always with a smile. The rooms are on the ground floor making them easily accessible.
Lovely views, helpful staff and clean rooms.Cavtat is picturesque.Short distance to airport.Ideal stop near airport with a car or taxi.Good breakfast.
Difficult to find and too dark to walk from restaurants.
Very good breakfast, big rooms, good location near Dubrovnik Airport, the family is very nice and kind!
I really liked the very cheap price of the delicious dinner. All the food was grown and produced by Duro who served you with a big smile. His son was wiiling to take us to the airport at 5.45 am! You can't get better service than that.
Excellent value, and the staff was so friendly! Wonderful home cooked breakfast, and beautiful mountain views from my room. Would definitely stay here again.
Location: Excellent for early morning flights from Dubrovnik. People: Staff were helpful and friendly and got me to my flight but spoke little English.
Utterly basic - not even a glass or mug in the room for a drink from the tap. Small thin towel and a sliver of used soap on the basin. A long distance from other amenities (food and bottled water).
We arrived at Dubrovnic airport in the evening and wanted accommodation for one night so this suited us fine. As arranged we were met at the airport and had an evening meal which was good home cooking. Breakfast was also good and the staff very friendly. Excellent value for money.
Locftion ideal to stay one night, very close to the airport. Extreemly frendly staff. Left early in the morning, the breakfast did not try. Very homely atmosphere, as if you have visited your grandmother!
a little lost while looking for a hotel in the night in total darkness. It would be nice to make a location map. Woke some house owners № 60 in the village. Doors of the shower enclosure close to the toilet. Acrobatic skills needed to wash yourself.
he location was great, perfect for a early morning trip to airport. Nice staff.
poor wi fi and thin towels
This was a pit stop before going to Dubrovnik after few days travelling in Montenegro. Its a great house, a local pub beside it. Its only 3km from a lovely town Cavat- so a walk downhill or a car would be useful. They provide breakfast and car parking :O)
The view of the countryside after seeing too many walls ( Dubrovnik )
We arrived at the DBV airport close to midnight and were looking for a close spot to stay the night before trying to find our way around Dubrovnik. This place was perfect. The owners son was there to greet us and even offered us some of their homemade wine which was really good. The room was clean and breakfast the next morning was great. It was a close walk to the bus stop and we were on our way.
Loved the proximity to dubrovnik airport. Room was large and comfy. Great view of the mountain out the big window.
A bit tricky getting in and out of the shower! But I managed and I'm a 'senior' May be tight fit for a larger person tho.
We liked our stay here a lot. The owners were very nice and helpfull, The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was a bit small but clean and functional Nicely situated in quiet location
Good hotel near the Dubrovnik and Montenegro border.
Place is simply nice. Exactly what you would expect. Very nice staff, receptionist was extraordinary kind. Close to the airport.
GREAT PLACE TO STAY
The family that owns the property was awesome. Made me feel like I was staying with family rather than strangers.
Wifi in room was week. However wifi in the common areas was excellent.
The hosts are extremely friendly - they took us to the airport to pick up our rental since we arrived very late at night. Very close to the Airport, Dubrovnik and Cavtat. The beds were good enough. Breakfast was good and wholesome.
The rooms are a bit bare and simplistic - nothing but beds, not even a tap to drink from. The showers are all too simple and a bit exposed to the outside. They felt like hostel showers.
We liked our stay here a lot. The owners were very nice and helpfull, the room was very large, comfortable and clean. The breakfast they prepared for us was quite good. Sound of planes, despite being quite close to the airport, was never a problem. Recommend this place.
Wi-Fi signal was pretty bad - had to stay mostly in the hallway to get it. Room didn't have a trash can. TV was ancient. Location is not the closest to Dubrovnik, but it's manageable. Awesome if you have to go to the airport though.
