Hotel Croatia

The hotel is a short, pleasant walk along the waterfront from the town centre. The town of Cavtat is a real gem. Our first view of the town and its picture-perfect harbout from the stairway outside the hotel simply took our breath away. It was a far nicer place to base ourselves while in the Dubrovnik area. Getting to Dubrovnik was never difficult. Boats departed for Dubrovnik every 30 minutes between 9am and 11am and then every 90 minutes or so through the afternoon. A regular bus service twice an hour was also available. Either route took little over 30 minutes to reach Dubrovnik. Our room had clearly been refurbished in recent times as had the lobby.

This is a very large hotel. It wasn't fully occupied during our stay. As a result the main dining restaurant and other entertainment venues oftern felt empty and impersonal. If you're looking for an intimate atmosphere these venues aren't appropriate.

We loved our trip at this hotel, deserves it's five star rating. Huge complex with everything you could need. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Only thing that might cause a problem for people is the 100 steps up to the hotel.

Nice hotel, located in a very picturesque area, very good sea, lots of food, everyday cleaning with change of towels. Close to Cavtat which is small, calm and beautiful village worth walking through during evenings.

would not advice to children under 8-10; prices for food in restaurants are quite high - I would tell almost the same as Cot-d'Azur

The view from the room was outstanding.

We had to wait 35 minutes for pool towels - complained twice to reception and each time I was told someone would be along right away. When someone did arrive their attitude was it isn't my fault I'm not on this section. This area should be manned at all times as it is the first port of call if something happens in the pool. The reception said a manager would be along to apologise - no manager materialised.

Location and Pool were excellent as was the decor and staff.

The sea view and the view over Cavtat

Although they could not find our reservation when we arrived at the hotel, we were immediately booked into our lovely sea-view room without any problems. The view from our room was spectacular - a joy to sit ans watch the sun setting in the evenings. Also, the rooms are modern, spacious, bright & airy. The cleanliness of the hotel struck me too - wow!

God beliggenhet, god aircondition, stille og rolig hotell.

Bedre renhold på rommet, f.eks få rene glass hver dag. Også bedre renhold ved og i ute bassenget.

Très bel emplacement. Notre chambre était bien positionnée dans cette énorme structure.Tous les équipements et services sont de qualité, avec un bémol pour le buffet. Nous n'y sommes restés qu'une nuit avant notre retour en France et n'avons pas eu le temps de profiter du spa qui semblait particulièrement relaxant, accueillant et soigné. La piscine ce jour là était vidée malheureusement.

Pour nous c'est un hôtel trop grand avec des couloirs interminables ce qui rend l'accès aux chambres impersonnel. La nourriture du restaurant/buffet, est moyenne. Chambres
