Hotel Croatia  

We've stayed here many times in summer and just love this Hotel. Location is excellent and everything about the Hotel exudes class. Rooms and Staff are exceptional and we'd recommend this Hotel as the best place to stay in Cavtat,- in Summer

All the "Sea View" Rooms face south and get extremely hot during the day. Thanks to a superb Air Conditioning system - this in not a problem. However when we arrived on 25 Oct 2011 - with temp 24 c- the air conditioning had been switched off! We asked reception to turn it on , thinking we had a fault. The reception chap said, "Ve only hev heat awailable now - but you can open door to balcony....." With the temperature outside higher than 24 c that wasn't an option! So we spent the night in a hot stuffy room.... Not good.

The view from the sea view room was awsome and very comfortable. Staff extremely efficient and friendly especially the housekeeping staff. We eat in the Steak Restaurant while the food was excellent the service was extremely poor, we waited 15 minutes to order food and drink, waitress forgot we ordered a second bottle of wind/water and we had to go find her after another 15 minutes. There was around 4/5 staff on the floor but no structure on attending to tables totally hit and miss and I would point out that the restaurant was very quiet at the time. I do intend to stay there again.

all is fine. no complains, ecxept the elevators which could come faster. my personal advice is to book the seaview room.

planning to use the elevator you have either to have patience or to use the stairs.

Very good standard of service, discreet but efficient. Our cleaner was excellent. The pool bar staff were also excellent remembering our room number after only one visit, well done to them, they should be highly valued.During our stay I had my hair cut and again was very impressed by the service and the standard of my cut.

We ate one evening at the Spinacker Restuarant, the setting was idyllic, the service excellent but the food was less memorable. Vegetables were over cooked and cold, really cold, I had duck breast which again was overdone, my partner had beef which was very good however it was served with cold boiled potatoes rather than the promised garlic mash. This was the only disappointment of our stay but it did but us off revisiting the restuarant, something you may wish to bear in mind for subsequent guests.

Excellent staff, fabulous location, comfortable and clean, quality food.

Climbing down to the beach on the cliffs, not enough sunbeds at the pool and disorder at the pool. Reserved sunbeds that were not taken most of the day even though it was against the rules posted on a sifn at the pool.

The facilities were excellent. Very well designed hotel in a wonderful location of sculpted bays that you can stroll around at your leisure with the sea next to you. Charming town nearby to visit... Location, location, location.

The staff were awful. They seemed to shell-shocked by the large, well- heeled tours/tour bus loads that come. Their demeanor was not just blase, it was sometimes rude.

It was convenient to Dubrovnik Airport and we got a good deal from Booking.com

It was low season and only a handfull of rooms out of 300 rooms were occupied. However the buffet breakfast was extremely poor. Both the fried eggs and an omlet were undercooked. The croiscents were from Lidl. Very dissapointing for a good quality hotel........and poles apart from the few hotels we stayed in Montenegro for the previous 6 nights. The booking.com rate was €80 however they initially requested €120 at checkout.....after a phone call this was reversed as somehow the staff had not reviewed the online bookings.

Totalno zadovoljan hotelom. Najbolji hotel u kojem sam boravio do sad.

Die Lage in Cavtat oberhalb des Küstenstreifens mit einem traumhaften Blick auf Dubrovnik ist einfach genial. - Jetzt in der Nachsaison bekommt das riesige Hotel menschlichere Dimensionen (ursprünglich ein Bau aus Titos Zeiten - aber völlig restauriert und heutigen Bedürfnissen angepasst). Sehr empfehlenswert. - Frühstücksbuffet ok. aber nicht einem Hotel dieser Kategorie standhaltend.

Top Lage , Blick auf das Meer, verschiedene Bademöglichkeiten ( auch FKK-Abschnitt vorhanden )! Ruhig - fast keine Kinder ( es war Sep. 2011), toller Sevice & nett ! Saubere Zimmer & Bäder - täglicher Wäschewechsel und fein regelbare Klimaanlage auf allen Zimmern !

Zubereitung der ( fertigen ) Eierspeisen & Qualität des Kaffee beim Frühstück ! Achtung : Fluglärm , da in Einflugschneise gelegen , stört aber eigentlich nicht , Nachts kein Lärm !

Compte tenu du prix élevé de la chambre, le petit déjeuner était très décevant et il est inacceptable de devoir payer des suppléments pour l'accès internet ou le service de transfert en mini bus de l'hotel vers l'aéroport à 5mn alors que ce service est offert dans d'autres hotels de Cavtat. Hotell froid et impersonnel..

Beliggenheten på toppen av en halvøy,med flott utsikt over havet og havnen. Her får du med deg både soloppgang og solnedgang !

Til å markedsføre seg som et 5 stjernes hotell manglet det en god del på personalets faglige standard på restaurantene og barene som var tilknyttet hotellet.
