Fair value for money if you want to be in the center of Hvar. We had a very nice see see view. The sports bar is convenient for a drink and always have a nice (sport) ambiance
No AC The rooms are not well isolated - just hope you don't get loud neighbors. Breakfast is not worth it I do not recomment the sport bar food.
The list may be long (no clim, wifi expensive and still not working, the reception says "Iphone needs 4 minutes to download a page, you should have a samsung (!!!), awful view, bad smell, separate and uncomfortable beds...), in a few words this hotel is owned by the government, they absolutely do not care about the clients. Except if you have nowhere else to sleep, never reserve in this ugly hotel
Location was very good and staff were very nice and helpful.
Our room had No airconditioner, no TV, no bar fridge. Got woken up at 5am by guests coming from night clubs plus could hear the loud music from the bar across the water well into the early hours so did not get much sleep.
The location and the sports bar. Hvar is a beautiful place.
The late night revellers smashing glass and banking doors til early morning. Also, the room was very tired and looked about ten years overdue for a renovation.
No air conditioning
Right beside marina. rented boat and took from front door. restaurants bars etc 50metres. between square and hula hula beach. decent price for location.
average standard but that's hardly a negative. Was jealous of all the superyachts on the doorstep. hard to stay in and be sensible
Location, amazing friendly, helpful staff. Good view, nice balcony good size room. Breakfast was good, but had to wait a few times for hot food and milk to be restocked, best view at the bar when eating it though.
No air con, had to use a fan at night, mattresses were really thin, limited electric sockets, asked for a double bed and given 2 singles. No fridge and wanted to charge for an ice bag!!
Location was great but it isn't hard to find a good location near the harbour.
The room was absolutely unbearable because of the heat and lack of air conditioning. There was no air circulation anywhere an we didn't get a wink of sleep. Also, if your room is above the third floor, you'll have to take the stairs.
Location and price was good.
Very old and 'tiered' rooms. Very noicy, especially because of all the young part goers.
Old furniture, no twin beds, no air-conditioning. No elevator in 4 floor. Good for friends who want to be near the clubs.
Rooms need to be updated very old . no air condition no TV
close to the beach
too far from the pier, 30 mins walk in the hot sun
Extremely noisy people playing soccer against other guests doors. Rooms dark and dirty. Old decor. Beds small like bunk beds not hotel beds .
After staying in apartments/sobes for over a week, it was really nice to stay in a hotel. We were relieved to see it straight away when we got off the boat. So it was literally walking distance. It's clear that it's an old hotel, but it's kept clean. The breakfast was ok. There isn't any air con, but there was a fan which was better than nothing. It does have a sports bar but it wasn't noisy at all. Hvar is a party island, so there is a lot of noise from the bay anyway. Don't think you can get away from it. If you're looking to stay close to the bay, then I would recommend this hotel for convenience. It's also a lot cheaper than the other hotels nearby.
No air con, although the fan was fine.
Location is great right on the harbour
Rooms are only basic. No TV, air conditioning. Sun is on the rooms all morning making them quite hot. Lack of power points for recharging electronic devices.
The location was excellent just 10 min walking from the hula hula bar and the carpe diem bar. There is free wifi in the entire hotel, the room was clean and enought for what we payed
No air condicioned so its Really hot
Room/ no air con/
Location, very central and right at the harbour Seaview with balcony
Dripping toilet Mediocre breakfast Very simple furniture The music at the outdoor restaurant Were charged someone else's dinner
Great location! Helpful staff
Water pressure in the shower was good. They had nice shower soap in environmentally friendly packaging. And we happened to pass by a sea-view room with the door open so we saw how good a stay COULD be at Delfin. Lots of morning sunshine and a large balcony with a beautiful view of all of Hvar Harbour. But I'm guessing the hotel will charge you triple the cost of the 'Park' view rooms, the breakfast will still be dodgy and the room just as noisy so I don't recon the view is worth it.
We booked a 'park view' room on Booking.com, which sounds pleasant enough. However Park View was only half the truth as it would be more accurate to call it Carpark view. Literally, the window had light- blocking bushes as close as two feet away, with a car park directly behind. It is the most liberal interpretation of 'Park' I have ever come across. I cannot stress enough how dark our room was. In the middle of the day with blazing sunshine we still needed to turn on all the lights to be able to see anything at all. The light in the hall outside our room was broken so we needed to use a torch to unlock the door. We complained to reception and all they gave us was - perplexingly - an electric fan. It is a kindness to call the breakfast basic. Shockingly bad coffee and weird slimy eggs made us find breakfast elsewhere, despite it being included in the price. The noise was also a problem. The bass from the surrounding nightclubs made our window shake in its frame (no exaggeration) till the early hours and the walls are so thin that the other guests simply passing by our door woke us up. So don't do it.
The bugs In the room, no lights in the lobby, generalized "commie" feel to the place...
No air conditioning, and no screens on the windows... Made for LOTS of mosquito bites during the night
There is now wifi in bedrooms. Prozimity to harbour.
Uncomfortable beds, paper thin walls, no air con, poor breakfast, decour very dated, bathrooms are very old, no hair dryer, not able to access any power points with overseas adaptors as hole in wooden panelling not large enough.
The room was quite big and clean. The hotel is very close to the center and the staff was friendly and helpful!
We saw a cockroach in the hall...
The staff were very helpful and the food in the hotel was reasonably priced. The breakfast included was great a wide variety of quality food and various drinks. It was great value for money and the rooms were lovely.
The location on the harbour of Have town was fantastic.
There was no air conditioning or fridge which we missed in the 32 degree heat. The walls and the windows are thin so you can hear your neighbours clearly.
