Delfin Harbourcourt Hvar Hotel  

Location was great, right in the harbour.

Room desperately needed air conditioning. Was too hot to sleep until we got a fan on the third night.

Good location and beautiful harbor views.

There is no A/C and no fans. If it's summertime, the rooms are warmer than the outdoors at night. I was literally sweating all night long. The open windows only led to excessive noise from the all-night party goers outside. I almost got no sleep at all; it was awful.

Location

Hotel is dodgy, the room and the hallway smelled very bad, ok to have a roof over your head, don't expect anything more.

A bit of old Yugoslavia. I loved the design aesthetic and the warm welcome. Nice big breakfast buffet. Best of all, location. Choose it for a nice view, and an easy walk to Hula Hula's for the sunset.

3 different credit/debit cards not working when paying at check-out time, meaning a dash to an atm for hrk (which is sort of in keeping with the whole pre-1991 design/experience). During the height of summer, no fan or a/c in the room made it a bit uncomfortable.

Staff friendly, location great

No air conditioner was a nightmare. No fan provided. If you can handle a boiling room the place is fine but it was just too hot.

It's close to the center of town, however there are much better hotels nearby.

The standard was extremely poor, very small, dark and hot rooms with no fresh air. There was some noise from outside and there was no elivator to be top floor. This is the kind of hotel you just want to avoid, there are much better hotels around in the area at better price and standard.

Location is brilliant. Staff very friendly. Great food. Superb value for money with free pizza each day. Would stay again.

Room very clean but walls thin and could hear noisy neighbours in the early hours being sick.

Apenas a localizaçao é otima. Hotel por ser de baixa tarifa, nao oferece ar condicionado, nem ventilador, impreencidivel no verão. O quarto é pequeno, com moveis antigos e sem tv. Se voce nao procura por muito conforto e otimo preco será bom.

Le seul et unique intérêt de l'hôtel Delfin est sa situation centrale sur le port de Hvar. Le corollaire est que les chambres sont très bruyantes car les soirées au bar de l'hôtel (en plein air, au rdc) se finissent très tard dans la nuit...

L'hôtel est très ancien - les chambre sont dans un mauvais état - de très nombreux défauts / réparations sont visibles dans les chambres. Odeur de l'ancien omniprésente, literie très inconfortable. Confort spartiate : ni tv ni mini bar et surtout pas de climatisation - ce qui est juste insupportable pendant saison estivale... Enfin, petit déjeuner de très mauvaise qualité. Je déconseille donc très vivement cet hôtel.

Está muy cerca del centro de la ciudad

No tiene television ni aire acondicionado, te ponen un ventilador chiquitito en la mesilla que casi no da aire y en pleno mes de julio hace mucho calor en hvar por lo que sin aire acondicionado se duerme un poco mal.

Localizacao

O quarto nao tinha ar condiocionado e batia mto sol! Impossivel de dormir depois das 8 mesmo com portas e janelas abertas. O banheiro tem uma cortina no box pessima. O hotel possui um bar em q as atendentes eram grossas

The location of the hotel was the best possible(especially with the sea view), and the staff was nice. Everything went smoothly with them, and they told us about the catamaran, ferry and bus timetables and locations. This is the best place, if you want just to have a place to crash, have your stuff safe and not going to spend a lot of time at the hotel. You really should´t, Hvar is far too amazing place to spend your holiday indoors! Hotel isn´t that good equipped, but it worked ok with us, and we would go back there except for the hot summer months.

The hotel isn´t fancy at all, it is old and looks like it too, but the rooms were spacious and clean. Our room had a nice balcony, but that is all air-conditioning you are going to get. So if you are going during the summer, consider that. We went in the middle of June(in the daytime around +27-29 celsius degrees), and the room was quite warm, any warmer would have been very uncomfortable. Luckily, you could get really ice-cold water from the shower to cool you off, but unfortunately that scream-out-loud-freezing was the only temperature available. No freezer/mini-bar, TV, or hairdryer.

Only the location

Although generally clean, the hotel was very dated. The bar food wasn't very nice and the rooms had no aircon. The view from the balcony was its only saving grace.

The staff is nice. But that's all!

There where cockroaches in our room. There's no airco too. And worst of all: breakfast. I simply don't understand why it is so hard to find fresh bread, good juices, and more variety? I don't mind a basic breakfast, but if the only option is cornflakes... The noise on the streets might be a disadvantage to others. I didn't actually care. That's part of the hvar party scene.

Ikke aircond. Veldig varmt. Måtte sove med terr.dør åpen og bråk fra omliggende barer hele natten.
