Hotel Valamar Diamant  

We always stay at this hotel when visiting Porec and it never lets us down. The staff are excellent as is the service and cleaniness of the rooms. Can not fault it

Very nice hotel, with all service++ that we want. An excellent hotel.

The room was nice and clean. The food was varied and very nice. Staff were polite.

It's really not so good for solo travellers. I can see that it's fantastic for families, but I felt quite odd being there on my own. It was rather noisy by the pool and at the beach area closest to the hotel, but quiter areas could be found further from the hotel. I found the cost of the internet use excessive.

Simple access to everything, relaxing athmosphere, helpfull staff at reception, in the restaurant, cleaning ladies.The environment of the hotel is unique, access to the town for walking pedistrians is inviting and relaxing. We are talking about the autumn / winter time. The decay that is felt in most parts of the Green lagune is not felt in the area of Brulo with the Hotel Diamant.

In house fresh water swiming pool is actually a pond for children and should not be advertised as an indoor swiming pool. The main entrance to the hotel would have to be improved, there is a sharp step at the entrance instead of a smooth transition from the parking in front of the hotel, definitelly not ammenable for invalides, and requires lifting of the heavier pieces of lugage on wheels.

Nice hotel and staff. No wireless in the room, just in the hall but not working good.

It was raining in the room and the wc flushing was't working!!!

This hotel maybe one of the best kept secrets: clean, spacious and up to date rooms, excellent food (I booked a room with half board, that is, breakfast and dinner, buffet style), great price (I booked for a late September visit), good location (surrounded by pine trees, 5 minute walk to a great beach and 15 minute walk along the beach to the heart of the City, courteous staff. Definitely deserves 4-star rating.

Nice, but expensive place for the vacation. It was first time when it was cold during high season (hotel management forgot to order weather???), but there is still a lots of things to do in the hotel and around - nice park, close to city center, hotel sauna, etc.

There was heavy rain one night. Little sewer on the balcony got stuck with dust and we had half of room wet. Also water was dripping from many places of the ceiling in the restaurant during the breakfast. Sauna is common for ladies and gentlemen. The rule is - no clothes. If you got problem with that better don't use it.

Position is excellent. We also like surroundings like pine wood, well tended park and equipped beach. Variety of sports activities is also fine.

Room and bathroom are a bit narrow but clean and operational

Everything. That says it all. If I live long enough I will be back. I'm 80 years old.

Hallenbad: Wasser ausreichend warm, aber die Raumtemperatur sehr kalt, dadurch die Benützung nicht wirkllich möglich
