Hotel Valamar Diamant, located one kilometre from the centre of town, is a sports and fitness hotel. With its sports facilities, outdoor and covered tennis courts, adrenalin park, water sports centre, sauna and massage services, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, Hotel Valamar Diamant is the right choice for those who love sport and active recreation. The hotel is open year round, and invites you to work your body and relax your mind in the spring, summer, autumn or winter.

Food & beverage

True gourmets can enjoy show cooking and a wide selection of local and international delicacies on the terrace restaurant overlooking the pool. The lobby bar with an open terrace, bathed in the first rays of sunshine, is the perfect place for your morning coffee. A wide selection of beverages and drinks await you at the poolside snack bar, also boasting a terrace amidst green Mediterranean surroundings.

Breakfast is served from 7:00 to 10:00.
Dinner is served from 19:00 to 21:00.

Our rooms are air conditioned, spacious, and modernly and pleasantly equipped. Some rooms overlook the fragrant green park, while others offer a beautiful view of the blue sea. Soak in the sun through the windows and on the balconies of our comfortable rooms.

Accommodation units include satellite TV, shower, central heating, hairdryer and anti-allergy bedlinen.

Area information

Poreč is a town of true hospitality and a rich tourist tradition. It is located on the western coast of the Istrian peninsula and abounds with clean sea and beaches.

A stroll down the centuries old streets leads to the square, Marafor, in which there was once a forum in ancient times. The central Poreč street, Decumanus, has been preserved from the time when Poreč was an ancient port. Along with the museums and galleries located in beautiful town palaces, you must visit the Euphrasian Basilica. A glittering mosaic which covers the inside and facade of the church is one of the most beautiful preserved works of Byzantine art.

The concrete beach is 200 metres from the hotel. Deck chairs and available to rent. The hotel is well equipped with a sports centre, changing cabins and showers.

Food was excellent, probably the best of any holiday hotel i've ever stayed in. Very well run hotel, staff clearly well trained.

Not really, no kettle in the room the only minor negative.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Very clean rooms and bathrooms. Excellent location. Loved the Wellness Centre! Wonderful selection of food at both breakfast and dinner. Tolerant of young noisy boys!

Everything was great. Excelent and helpful staff is on the highest level I ever experienced in Croatia. The gym is great and well equipped. It is definitely one of the best hotels in Croatia.

Room service sometimes takes more than hour and the wellness zone is a bit small with only few things to offer + You must be naked there what causes that some of the english guys are there spending most of their holiday just to see Your girlfriend / wife naked!

The lights on the pathway leading up to the hotel were burned out.....very dangerous to walk in the dark when returning from the village.

design of guest rooms, large parking area, nice park with pine trees around the hotel, good selection and good quality of food at breakfast

bathroom is too small and has cheap appearance, pillows are worn down and much too soft, niose transmission is bad-you could hear housekeeping vacum the coridor floor in the morning and bumping the door, the beach is far, there is "no diving" regulation at the pool but the lifeguard does not control it - the result is limited swimming and relaxing at overcrouded pool.
