Difficult to find Apartment
Location - close to old town and sandy beach Amazing terrace with gorgeous views of old town Spacious apartment View from master bedroom is stunning
Bed in master bedroom moved every time we rolled over - super old frame. Ended up moving mattress into livingroom and sleeping on floor. Floor boards were super creaky so can't move around the house without waking everyone up.
I loved the location and cleanliness of this apartment. The owners were very nice and helpful. The bed was comfortable and air conditioning worked well and was not noisy. So definitely would recommend other people staying here.
The only fault I found with the entire apartment was that the shower head was loose and flopped down quite often.
The views from the balcony of the apartment were wonderful. Great location. It was comfortable and had all the necessary facilities. Nice owners who kindly carried our suitcases up the steps! Convenient car parking.
Difficulty in finding the accommodation. Bit noisy (internal and external) at times but main problem was enormous amount of steps involved but that is Dubrovnik! Access to English speaking TV channel would have been good.
Hard to find No parking
Really nice apartments. The owner was really nice people, everything was clean, in perfect conditions. Amazing sea view. Very comfortable.
Clean, good size, nice view, well stocked kitchen. We were dealing with Deana,( not the owner), she was very helpful, polite and attentive.
Beds were uncomfortable and screeched. Traveled with car...No parking spot
The view was stunning. The apartment was located only 10 minutes away from old town and the owner was magnificent! We totally enjoyed our time in Dubrovnik very much.
Price was very reasonable Location was perfect bedroom were very nice and balconies and terrace was beautiful.
Bathroom was a bit unsightly (tub and curtain) Kitchen didn't have a bottle opener and stove did not work fully
Location was excellent and Trogir is a beautiful town close to so many attractions including the great city of Split.
Cash only, it could appear that this is a tax scheme. The photos at booking.com did not match the apartment at all. The pictures has to be fake. The excuse was that they had 15 apartments, but we do not believe this. According to the reviews at booking.com it seems that there is only a few apartments. We were met by the owners mother who did not understand a word english. We had also contact with several different persons regarding this apartment. It was for us unclear who was actually renting us this apartment. We asked for a receipt for our cash payment, and on this receipt there was a new person signing and a different name for the company. We talked to the "owner" on the phone and she was somewhat aggressive and rude. Did not feel safe, could be easy to kick in the door from the street. Had to bring all our valuable items with us all the time outside the apartment. Longer walking distance to the old town than informed in the advert. We also got a different location than we expected when we booked. The advert informed us that this would be a 4-stars apartment, but it felt more like a 2-stars. Old furnitures, not working showerhead-holder and only two squeaky single beds that were pushed together. In the advert it said double bed. Not practical for couples. Really noisy apartment. The loaction was in between to roads. Difficult with a car because there is no free parking in the area. Review for apartment Iva, next door to the hotel Bellevue.
Very comfortable bed & sofa bed, superb location close to the old town, supermarket, atm, apartment very homely, lovely balcony & views.
Despite my advising the agent, they didn't advise the owner that we required the sofa bed as well as the double (as we are friends and not a couple), so he wasn't prepared. He did what he could to accommodate though.
Location Spacious Great wifi connection Owner very helpful with local information
Rather dated not like photos on web site No kettle Lamps don't work Instructions of how to turn on hot water and oven would be helpful.
A very nice and spacious apartment with a unique view over the old city and the sea. Very friendly and helpful service from the owner.
Good location, about a 25 minute walk to the old town. There is a good restaurant about 100 meters from the apartment
Despite what Booking.com advertises, there is no coffee maker in the apartment or a kettle to boil water. The kitchen is in fact poorly equipped. A washing machine is also advertised but of course there is none.
Really good views where we lived. Very kind family, it is a really comfortable stay. It's quite convenient to the places we want to visit. Very happy stay at the place.
One of the shower's tap wasn't working as expected, and we had to share only 1 shower. Also, there wasn't any gas left. But since there is the electronic cooker, we didn't have much problem cooking.
The host came to meet us and was extremely helpful & friendly. He went out of his way to offer us advice regarding where to eat & what to do etc. The accommodation was spotlessly clean.
We were expecting a double bed and instead we had two single beds pushed together. The beds were not comfortable. There was also a damp smell in the apartment. When booking, the photographs are very enticing. The accommodation photographed looks very modern. However, this is not what you get when you arrive (you are not guaranteed the apartment photographed) and I do feel this is very very misleading. Our accommodation, which was close to Belleuve Hotel, was a good 15 minute walk from the old centre. We didn't mind this, but I would caution older people or those who cannot walk that distance (back and forward) each day for instance (as most things are in the centre). You can get a bus of course!
The view was spectacular and the apartment was close to the Medieval town.
The apartment was tiny. The balcony tiny. It wasn't that clean (dirty glasses on the dish rack and bathtub stained). No sink in the bathroom. Broken holder for shower head. Broken stove. Leftover condiments left from other tenants including expired aspirin. The Apartment was almost impossible to find because of one way streets and seven levels above the street on the side of a mountain with other apartments. There was no parking although I was told there would be one parking space in front. Parking in the old town is expensive and very hard to find so if you are driving, keep that in mind.
Fantastic and breathtaking view from two balconies. The rooms were spacious and perfect for my friends to stay and enjoy the city
Only cash accepted.
we stayed at Lazarina street 3, apartment was large enough for 2people. young lady was wating for us and gave us key, then payment, and that's all. we did not see staff during our stay any more, but for problem, question, taxi arrangement,etc..staff was always helpful via telephone. if you reach to " Lazarina street ",it is difiicult to find apartment ,because apartment is located at many stairs area and all buildings around are addressed "Lazarina street", also probably you feel that apartment is so far from the old town.but you can walk down to the opposite side(hotel Excelsior is there), then it is only 5-10minutes walk to the old town's gate. Around apartment, there are so many steps and we had to step up and down every time, however, view from the apartment was amazing! it was nice combination- enjoying sightseeing in the daytime and looking at wonderful view of city&ocean in the morning and night!
bathroom was old and not so crean..
it was really 10 minutes to the old town.
We've staid at Bruna BUSICA 2 and the photo didn't match the apt. The apt was old and needed to be revamped. It did not look like the photos AT ALL? The guy that received us told us that they have many apt.
View from apartment was lovely.
We went to the address on our booking form (Lazarina Street 3) but there was no-one there to meet us despite me sending an email several days earlier indicating our arrival time. I called booking.com and was given a phone number to call. Someone then came to meet us and took us to another apartment about 100 metres away explaining that the address on my booking form was their office. The stairs to the new apartment were not lit at night. Very scary walking down steps relying only on the light from my mobile phone to see where we were going. The booking confirmation advised that we had a balcony and terrace. The terrace consisted of broken concrete and weeds. Very disappointing start to our holiday.
The View. location to the old city and beach
We were met by the owner's father at an agreed location on Frana Suplia Street opposite the address we believed we were staying (number 37) He advised we were a little further down the street and to follow him (number 25) After doing so and then climbing the 99 steps to the apartment with our luggage, we were shocked to find the apartment was nothing like the apartments in the photos on booking.com. Budget not Superior would be a fair description. When we asked to speak with the booking agent they offered us a 20% discount to stay where we were. This was not what we wanted but due to the language barrier, the fact that we were weary from our travels and had just climbed the 99 steps made us agree to do so. We were very disappointed with the situation but felt there was little choice. The owner's parents were both in the apartment and were helpful and kind people, however the experience left us very wary of using booking.com in the future. This was not the only booking that we found to be unsatisfactory.
Good location close to the old city. we stayed in a roomy 1 bed apartment with excellent views over to the old city and the sea
The access to the apartment we stayed in was via a series of dimly lit external staircases. The access didn't reflect on the apartment but was disconcerting, particularly at night.
