Hotel DubrovnikLjudevita Gaja 1, 10000 Zagreb (Show map) Very good, Score from 324 reviews“nice hotel with central location and great breakfast buffet”
Oliver,
Pregassona
Looking back upon a long tradition since 1929, the partly renovated Dubrovnik hotel is located in the very center of Zagreb, surrounded by the Baroque atmosphere of the Upper Town. In the immediate vicinity you can find the cathedral, the picturesque Dolac open-air market with many amazing hand-made souvenirs and the main shopping area on Ilica street. Zrinjevac park and Cvjetni trg, where locals are traditionally gathering, are also very close. Excellently furnished rooms, which combine classic design with modern amenities provide for utmost comfort. There is also a 24-hour business center usable free of charge, a free mini fitness center, an inviting summer terrace and many more convenient services. Hotel Rooms: 266

The Hotel Dubtrovnik is a wonderful escape. The rooms and facilities are beautifully apportioned, well maintained and very clean. The large bathroom and deep soaking tub were especially appreciated. The staff went far beyond our expectations to accomodate our needs and requests. The delightful breakfast was an experience remembered with warm satisfaction. The location on the central square is perfect as we looked down on the trams stopping for passengers and the tented public market across the street. An abundance of shops and restaurants in the vincinity provided an unsurpassed variety of European city charms. We could not wish for more as our satisfaction was complete. Thank you! There could be nothing more the Hotel Duborvnik could do to enhance our stay in Zagreb.

Great value, great staff. I used to stay at the Esplanade or Westin while on business in Zagreb. I should have saved my money and stayed at the Dubrovnik instead. I will from now on! Parking situation should be a bit more convenient.

We had a modern room, though it looks like there might be older rooms (presumably remodeled) off of the main square but within the walking zone. Parking was a block away, but we have wheels on our bags. The breakfast crowd (nice buffet) suggests that though the hotel was quiet it was fairly full. Good bookstore (with English and other foreign languages in the basement) next door if you came off without a guidebook.

Most central location in Zagreb A bit tricky to get to the parking as it is in a restricted access area being it central and its pretty long walking distance from the hotel if you have many luggages, but really hard to ask for a better solution in such a central position of the hotel

I liked the location and the hotel was fine . I was very disappointed that on check out they wanted to charge us more than the agreed price - even though the booking was made in june 2011 and paid for at that time by credit card: we visited in october 2011 and they said that the variation in rates over the time since the booking was made was the reason for this increase: after discussions with the manager - he agreed that we would not be charged: however we were very disappointed with this attitude:

Very central. On the main square (ban jelacic trg.) on the edge of the old city.Easy walk to most museums. On the main tram route. Ideal for the tourist! The hotel was quiet at night due to the double glazed windows. Good breakfast.

The location , room cleanliness as well as space , was a good size. Bathtub was a bonus after a long day to relax in. The breakfast was great too with much variety. The only downside was the noise coming from the renovations inside the hotel on level 3 which did disrupt our sleep in the morning - only happened once.

Absolutely the best location in Zagreb - walk out the door and you're in the middle of the action. Helpful staff. Standard room, while clean and comfortable, was a little small.

Good central location.. The air conditioner was not able to keep the room cool. Bring earplugs. The windows are double pane but hotel is on the main square that has loud events every night.
