Lovely location. Great views. Didn't like the attitude of the staff. They were less than helpful. It was as if the hotel was 'too good' and that we should be grateful for staying there.

We had an amazing time at the Dubrovnik Palace. The staff were super efficient and exceptionally friendly. The even prepared a birthday cake for my birthday dinner and then wrote the recipe in English for us to take away. Having both the pools and the Adriatic to choose from was also fantastic. Being on Lapad Bay was also brilliant as you are away from the tourist crowds of the old town of Dubrovnik but only a short bus ride (running every 15minutes from the Palace) to the town. Lapad Bay also has many lovely restaurants and walking tracks. We loved everything about Dubrovnik Palace. Thank you. Linda and David Crosato

Pool area lovely, right on the sea. The rooms could be spruced up a bit, bedspreads, tile in bathroom are outdated.

We had been traveling in Europe for over a month, and our three days at the Dubrovnik Palace, relaxing in the sun, getting a massage at the spa, working out in the fitness center, was just what we needed before heading on to Prague and more sightseeing! Although it is out of the town, the bus line which runs from right in front of the hotel was incredibly convenient, so we had the best of tranquility and amazing sea views with the convenience of not having to drive or taxi into town. I wouldn't change a thing!

Lovely place. I also arranged for a car to pick us up from the airport, so all very efficient. Very nice rooms, extremely comfortable and great view. It was my girlfriend's birthday while we were there, so we had breakfast in bed and the hotel gave us some free sparkling wine and not one but two small cakes during that day, which was a great touch. There's an excellent walk up across the cliffs immediately behind the hotel – don't do what I did and get lost going cross-country at night, but the views are amazing! Very easy bus into Dubrovnik every 20 minutes too. Nothing, really. The main bar seemed to close quite early, but we didn't mind.

The place is set up to provide good service and a place to enjoy hospitable fun. For the most part the staff is welcoming and recognizes that you are at the hotel to have a pleasant stay. We received good attention from the dining room staff and were made to feel welcome. The chamber maid staff were outstanding in accommodating our needs with regard to room comfort. The only unpleasantry came from the reception desk. They are rude and self satisfied stiffs who somehow have a self importance that is conjured out of an irrational smugness and a false ego-centricity. What a turn off to the hotel and a likely cause for poor return business. The reception desk was our only dissatisfaction. We can recommend this hotel when they improve the courtesy of the reception desk.

The setting is amazing, looking out on to the Dalmatian islands. The balcony had a great sea view. The breakfast is large and wonderful and can be taken outside. The swimming pool is great. Easy bus ride from the hotel into Dubrovnik. Very expensive hotel restaurants. Mentioned our wedding anniversary on booking, no notice taken. Even booked a "double" room and was given a "twin" room. We expected five star (which it claims). The price, even for a four day special offer, was €750 yet the rooms were smaller even than the usual Holiday Inn or equivalent. The air-conditioning, which we needed, would not fall below 25 degrees c, until we complained twice and they got it down for our third day to 23 degrees. The shower gets suddenly hot then cold then back to normal. I think this hotel lives on its views and the sea side.

It's a cliche but the view from this hotel has to be seen to be believed. The combination of the view, the fantastic pool, a good location in Lapad, and very helpful staff makes the Dubrovnik Palace an excellant hotel

The location and the service of the hotel very excellent. The staff is very cooperative. Warning! Not to book on the 6 th floor beneath the 7 th floor restaurant. You can hear every step or fluxes of the chairs, tables etc. mainly in breakfast time in the morning, or a conference held late evening. So you are not able to sleep during this noisy period.

Quality hotel, great facilities Location is not the best as it is out of the main and lively part of dubrovnik. We stayed just out of peak time so the shuttle bus was not operating which meant we had to pay taxis each time we wanted to go out.

The excellent restaurants in the hotel itself, particularly the sushi bar. Also the excellent poolside facilities and the stunning views from the hotel bar/lobby. The bredrooms are not 5 star standard; they are quite small and would be more representative of a normal 3 or 4 star. The price of drinks at the bar and at the pool is quite expensive.

Great location, nice pool and terraces, good spa facilities, big bedroon with sea view, free parking and wifi, good breakfast The prices of the restaurants near the pool were very expensive compare with croatian preces. The staff were not at the level of a 5 star hotel
