Valamar Dubrovnik President Hotel  

President was an excellent choice - wonderfull position just above the beach, comfort rooms with beautiful view on the Elaphiti ilands, public bus station just a few steps from the hotel, excellent breakfast. Special thanks to the stuff - highly professional, helpfull and friendly. We'll certainly come back.

1. Convenient location: though quite far from Dubrovnik Old City, can be easily reached by bus #6, which terminal station is right in front of the hotel. All rooms have sea view, you can enjoy wonderful sunsets both from the room and from the hotel beach. Nice park near the hotel, close to it - small shopping center with food and drinks (packaged), souvenirs and beach stuff (towels, swimming suits, etc), cafes and a restaurant. 2. Excellent breakfast: variety of choice & tasty. 3. Very good private beach (though pebble) with very comfortable sunbeds. 4. Outside lobby bar with nice sea view. 5. Some rooms have huge terraces where you can even make picnics:)

The hotel was most likely renovated in late '90, but the room we stayed in and some other public areas looked already shabby and old-fashioned, and the renovation was done without attention to details. Our room smelled of moist, and though it was "romantic room" - the look and feel of the bathroom ruined the whole idea of romance-(((. For 4* hotel you would expect a more quality decor / technical equipment.

Excellent beach, location. The hotel staff is very careful. The price from booking.com is cheap and transfer was included. It was the second time for me and my wife in Valamar Dubrovnik President hotel and we will select this hotel for location more times.

Good Breakfasts;reasonably quiet; large rooms with comfortable temperature;helpful staff; good public transport into the city.

Had to request a room change as room allocated barely qualified as 'Sea View'; two lifts are not sufficient if hotel is fairly full.

Well we liked everything, especially the staff, they were very friendly, warm and kind to us from the very beginning. The hotel has the closest "private" beach in the town i guess, towels, beds, umbrellas.everything is well organised. Breakfast was good, it has everything you need: yougurt,fruits, eggs etc. only fresh orange juice is for extra charge. we had superior double room with wonderful terrace and we could watch amazing sunset every evening. Bus stop to the town is just near by and the bus is always there. and last but not least Dubrovnik is just a wonderful destination for holiday!!! we totally loved it! and many thanks to the hotel staff again you made our stay very pleasant!

Rooms dont have slippers. and the beach is covered with stones so you will need special shoes or at least flip-flops to walk. the rest is fine!

I liked the luxury, even though it was a long ways from the old town. However, the Dubrovnik 3 day ticket was well worth it. I enjoyed the swimming pool each A.M. The little shopping area quite nearby was a fine area to explore. As a single client I appreciated the fact I could buy a bottle of wine and have the remainder put away for the next night. The hospitality girl is a treasure!..

I did not like the pebbly beach. It was too hard on my feet. I felt the price of wine and food was a bit expensive, but if one wants to live in luxury, I guess one has to expect to pay for it.

- Is the best sea view room I ever stay. Look like you are in a boat, you will have a movie scenario in front! - The rooms are Big, different from hotels that’s we stay in the other cities in Croatia. - Nice staff! Everyone was very attention. - The sunset goes in front of the balcony of your room, amazing. - Good Parking in front of the hotel. - Beautiful panoramic elevator.

- Bit slow internet connecting. - Food of the beach bar is not so good.

Le buffet du petit-déjeuner était extra.

La chambre n'avait pas été nettoyée à notre arrivée. Nous pensions qu'elle le serait le soir à notre retour. Rien n'avait changé.Suite à notre demande une femme de chambre est venue passer une serpillière vers 23 heure.C'est inadmissible pour un hôtel ****. il n'en mérite que ***.

Lage, Ausstattung und Ruhe.

Der Service im Restaurant war im Verhältniss zum Preis nicht optimal.

Très bel hôtel, très bien tenu. Beaucoup de chambres mais une belle architecture en étage. Vue magnifique sur les iles aux coucher du soleil et sur la terrasse du petit déjeuner. Avons bénéficié d'un appartement pour 2 jours en étant surclassés.

L’hôtel est un peu loin de Dubrovnik mais nous avions une voiture de location (parking gratuit à l’hôtel). Sommes repartis en ferry pour Korkula au port de Gruz/Dubrovnik en laissant la voiture chez Avis, c'est par contre tout proche, à 10 mn de l’hôtel.

Mi-au placut foarte mult: amplasarea si design-ul hotelului, lifturile exterioare, patul si intreg confortul camerei, precum si mancarea, variata si de buna calitate

Mi-au placut mai putin personalul de la restaurant si de la bar; de asemenea, mi-ar fi placut mai multa muzica in incinta hotelului

Het personeel was supervriendelijk, behulpzaam en gaf correcte informatie. In de gangen en aan de receptie rook het altijd aangenaam fris. De bushalte was vlakbij. Tegenover het hotel was een gezellig park dat leidde naar een winkelcentrum. Het ontbijt was heel uitgebreid en werd regelmatig aangevuld. De lobbybar was gezellig ingericht. De wellnessruimte en het zwembad werden regelmatig gereinigd. De kamer was ruim met een groot balkon met zicht op zee.

Een klein minpunt: het bad was vrij hoog om in te stappen.
