Great place. Welcoming. Really lovely rooms. Travelling with very young children. They loved the animals/petting farm, fantastic indoor kids play area and wide open spaces for running around. Staff very tolerant and helpful. Tasty food.
Some of outdoor space a little tired (swing in playground broken, mini golf needs painting and a few nails sticking out of some of the wooden play area). Easily fixed, but with price you pay for the rooms would expect a little more.
location ++++ restaurant ++++
no credit card or bank card are not accepted
Pool area perfect for post hike relaxation, good restaurant, lovely massage
Wi-Fi not great in rooms
Location is perfect to visits the plitvice lakes and waterfalls, just on a 15 min walk from P3 boat. Staff of the hotel was very friendly and helpfull. Kids liked the zoo at the hotel.
The price to stay was expensive. The prices they ask for the restaurant and the drinks in the restaurant are a complete ripp off. The rooms are not large and really noisy. If someone makes a sound from another room you will hear it. Its like they are standing next to your bed. This is not nice and is caused by the wooden structure of the building. The water from the swimming pool was green and not clean. Minigolf damaged.
Owner and staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Made our engagement night stay perfect. Great pool area. Location. Food.
wifi very poor/non existent
Kids friendly Wooden houses mini-zoo for kids quiet surroundings close to
poor soundproofing (wooden walls) restaurant is way too pricey (central Paris prices) and slow service (although staff is very friendly) smallish rooms
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful which really enhanced our stay. The cabins are beautifully furnished with jacuzzi bath and comfortable beds. The National park is minutes away and easy to access.
Restaurant was slightly expensive given there was little option to eat anywhere else. The food was great though and service excellent so this is a minor point.
Peaceful setting in log cabins. Orientated to families with lots to do pool, adventure playground, zoo. The tour of the lakes is absolutely splendid but allow a full day for this! Food was good but you need to choose the right thing - the steak & lamb were excellent.
Didn't quite know what it was - a cross between Heidi comes home and a hippie hideaway! But we enjoyed our stay.
Really a fantastic place both for kids and adults
Wi Fi is not very good.
The design is excellent, great breakfast, fantastic location walking distance to the reserve entrance!!!, very friendly staff all speaking very good English, good wi-fi
Room too small, they don't take credit cards and ATM's are not at hand. Every day at 7:00 AM sharp the staff turns on a vacuum cleaner doing the deck waking up everybody. Prices in the restaurant resemble those of Paris or London restaurants. Very limited choice of vegetarian food.
Location was good being close to entrance 3 which you can walk to and get straight into the park
We has a 2 bedroom suite where the living area was the corridor between the 2 bedrooms with no window and nowhere to sit. The bedrooms were small and dark with the bathroom being very small. The restaurant was just ok but expensive. If the accommodation was a "suite" I would understand breakfast not being included but as it was effectively 2 bedrooms with nowhere to prepare or eat food I think they should include breakfast.
The restaurant, very bad and too expensive
the food is bad and expensive
Location to the lakes
You are near the waterfalls The breakfast is good
Such unfriendly staff, especially the male waiters We commented on the very little amount of wine per glass and received a lecture. Seems like penny wise and pound foolish. Fill the glass and if required, charge more per glass. Very touristy, fatty dinner. Overpriced!
I think etno houses are the best located near the park. The route you take from there (boat-walk-autotrain-walk) is very optimal. It was recomended by etno staf. Thanks! It took 5 hours. Restaurant is also excelent. Good selection of wines.
The location is perfect and the staff really makes the difference. On top of that the food is varied and extremely good.
The only minor drawback was the noise from the adjoining room and the corridor (the door of the building was slammed and could benefit from a soft close mechanism).
Excellent breakfast! Hotel situated in the national park, no car needed for park exploration.
Credit card not acceptable No water in the pool
Rustic, earthy accommodation; great playground & facilities for children; restaurant provided good choice and fair prices; location good for lakes walks but away from everything else - own car is an advantage; lovely, welcoming service
Overpriced for what you get; poor wifi in rooms as well as public areas, apart from near reception
Beautyful hotel in a beautyful environment Friendly staff Great wellness Very close to entrance 3 of the park Food in the restaurant is very good and they serve a great breakfast too
WiFi is not super stable No other restaurants near so you basically have to eat in the hotel, which is quite expensive. They don't take credit card!
the lication is great just near the park entrance boris from the reception is very helpful breakfast is good great place to stay in plitvica
the prices at the restsurant fir dinner are overpriced also the cappucino at breakfast is charged extra
The only place to eat out is a hotel's restaurant, which is good, but quite expensive so the total bill quickly adds up. There is a sound isolation problem - the houses are mostly wooden and you can hear everything behind the walls - steps on the stairs, voices (even clear words) from the rooms above etc. Also, one night we had awful smell from the toilet that we couldn't get rid of until the next morning. In general we decided it wasn't worth the price.
Hotel buildings are nice
No credit card accepted: major problem (at the restaurant park you can even pay 2 Euro with a normal atm card!) Breakfast not included (isolated location, room rate at 130 Euro, for breakfast you'll have to drive 13 km). Restaurant with very limited menu. Coming in from South (from the coast) you'll first have to drive past the main entrance (no. 1), drive past the village and a hotel with the same name (very confusing), and then drive a narrow, montainous road for approx. 13 km more (I can't imagine driving there at night). The place is isolated, next to a minor entrance to the park (entrance no. 3).
bed rooms were beautiful. air conditioning. location was perfect. really helpful staff. thought of everything, eg. pingpong, mini golf ect.
wifi was on and off. cost was rather high. food variety was small. hiking gear you had to pay to borrow. we got a room that didn't have a mountain view we were looking at reception.
