The hotel was difficult to find, because you can't drive to it. The directions on Booking.com were no use at all. |

The staff was outstanding, friendly, welcoming and attentive. The rooms were all quite nice, comfortable and clean. The location was absoltuly perfect, it was central yet quiet and very restful after a long day of travel to Croatia. We far preferred staying at the Hotel Fontana in trogir, to the bustle of Split, plus it was much closer and more convenient to the airport. I was disappointed that there was no "free shuttle" from the Split airport, though this was advertised. I had written several emails about our travel plans well in advance, and did not receive the answer about the "shuttle" (there is not one) until we had already arrived in country. The taxi was a rip off, and the local bus was a piece of cake once you learned where it stopped!...you need to be clear to people! Thanks. |

Charming little hotel within the historical unesco city, gives you a feeling of how it would be like to actually live in such a special environment and it is completely opposite of mass tourism. Situated in the renewed historical building, everything was nicely decorated and just the right size. Great coffee and juice, breakfast just right. Free parking nearby. In the vicinity you can find numerous places of interest, churches, museums, as well as a lot of bars and restaurants and a starting point for boats that take you to the surroundings. When you switch a light in the bathroom the air drying system is also automatically switched on (there is no separate switch) and at the beginning of my stay it produced a rather awful cigarette smell. Air- conditioning also needs to be cleaned more often; fortunately I did not need to use it much during my stay. |

It is in the centre of the city A lot of things, I expected a better hotel, it was old, small and not very clean. Quality/price, expensive for what it was. |

Nice quiet hotel. All the staff is very friendly and kind - for example, when we came back in the middle of the night, it was no problem to enter the hotel - they opened the door quiclky. It's not easy to find the hotel when you arrive - you need someone's help or detailed map. Rooms are a bit small but it's a price you have to pay for living in the heart of medieval town. |

Location is incredibly close to the airport and literally only meters away from a great selection of restaurants and bars in such a fantastic little city. There is a huge variety of sight seeing attractions and tourist facilities. I will definitely be back! |

Location in the heart of the old town. Small and friendly. Comfortable rooms. Good restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. No elevator, which made getting luggage to the second and third floors hard work. |
