Guesthouse Vrlic  

The location was very close to the old town (Palace), which was our objective to visit. Being able to park the rental car was also very important, so this guesthouse gave us both of those important features. The family was very helpful and pleasant.

It was clean, friendly, nice and easy. We were greeted with tea and a warm welcome. We moved in and out with no hassles. Fantastic location, we had a car and never needed it. Excellent location for a great price! Bed was comfortable! Thanks.

We're so happy we found Guesthouse Vrilic! This was the perfect location for exploring old town Split, and the family that runs the hotel could not have been sweeter or more welcoming. After we checked out, they held our bags for us all day long so we could explore the town unburdened until our ferry left in the evening. They have obviously put some work into the rooms lately as all are very nicely furnished with comfy beds. We stayed in a room facing the street, and it was a little noisy, but we are city folk and used to that. If you think it might bother you, they also seem to have have a few rooms off the main street. Great value, we would definitely stay again should we be lucky to revisit Split!

The closeness to the old town. It was in a quiet area with a small garden to relax in and enjoy breakfast and picnic lunch. The owners were incredibly hospitable. We borrowed plates and cutlery so that we could picnic in their garden. Nothing was too much trouble for them. A wonderful situation very comfortable stay. There is a fridge available.

The owner's daughter moved her car so we could take her close parking spot. That was representative of the pleasant people who run the hotel.

It is a bit tough to find as the street sign was different than the address we had.

The family were most helpful and most welcoming.The facilities were very good including a kettle and a fridge.location is very good, only a very short walk to the Diocletian palace. and close to bus and train stations and ferries.Bakery 50 yards up the road and mini supermarket 50 yards down the road.rooms cleaned every day.will run you to airport for £32. Safe in room, en suite facilities.

Traffic a little noisy at night at front of hotel, but there are rooms at the back, a little trouble with TV and shower but nothing insurmountable.curtains did not draw but the wooden slats are movable in some rooms.

Very nice room, quiet area near to the palace, markets and harbour. Also provided option for airport transfer. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The location was a very short walk (less than 5 minutes) to the city centre in a nice apartment building and was no trouble rolling our suitcases to after arriving to the harbour by catamaran. The room we stayed in was spacious and bright with a nice and clean kitchenette and bathroom. The owners were pleasant to deal with and we made use of their shuttle service to the airport at 6am with no trouble. The price was also excellent. I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a place to stay in Split.

Location was very good.

It wasn't as nicely put together as other apartments we've stayed in - no kettle and the tv didn't work because there wasn't a socket extension available to plug in all four plugs required.

Friendly welcome, cheap room, well decorated, near the centre.

The owners are really really nice! Even though they don't speak english very well, they do their best to make you feel like home. Picked us up at the airport and gave us tips about the town. Very nice people. The room was spotless clean and close to everything. Highly recommend the place!

What a lovely family that run this little guesthouse! So helpful and very friendly. Great location too, only a five minute or so walk to the old town/city centre. Clean and tidy accommodation.
