Location was very good and room comfortable, breakfast amazing. The fact that we could not settle account using credit card, cash only! Little English spoken by owners but the son spoke good English. |

We liked very much the attitude towards guests of the owner Mrs. Zorica. Since it was our wedding anniversary, I asked the Zorica to prepare somekind of surprise for my wife, I didn't what, but it was simply great, and my wife liked it so much, Thanks Zorica!! |

The breakfasts were amazing, by far the best we had in Croatia - and we had some pretty good breakfasts in Croatia. The room was lovely, very cool aircon, comfortable beds, nicely furnished, pretty pictures of the Lake District to remind us of home, room for our 6yo daughter. The only place I stayed in Croatia with two pillows - a big plus for me as I had been craving a 2nd pillow for days. Town seems to be far away on arrival, but is less than ten minutes walk away, most of it down some steps. You'd have to be pretty lazy/unfit to take a taxi back. No view from our ground floor room, but all the other rooms were on higher floors and looked better. A lot of money to pay by cash, when I had been expecting credit card. |

v clean. Owner v keen to help. Beautiful room-well-equipped, as was whole hotel. Best buffet breakfast I've ever had-all prepared by owner. owner couldn't have doen more to please- very personal touch all thro the stay. |

The room was lovely and a good size with lovely balcony and close to all amenities. I came back twice and the front door to the room was open! Once, the keys for the whole guest house of 11 rooms were left in my room door. Luckily Croatia is a very safe place. |

Lovely small privately owned inn, walking distance (uphill coming back) to shopping, restaurants and beach. Very friendly owner, who speaks very little English, but does all she can to make you comfortable. Room was very clean, balcony with partial sea view, felt like we were in the country. Excellent breakfast, the best we had while in Croatia. Refrigerator in room, with hot pot for tea/coffie, which were provided. Did not provide shampoo/soap for shower, but bathroom was clean and shower roomy, by European standards. Highly recommended! Less than 15 minutes to Dubrovnik airport. If you walk into town, it's all downhill, which means a long walk up steep hill to return. Innkeeper told us 5 minute walk into town, 10 minute walk back. It would actually take about 20 to 25 minutes to walk back. We took a cab because it was late and we were tired. |

We enjoyed staying at Haus Am Meer. The owners were hardworking and ran a great bed and breakfast. As for clean, the place was immaculate and the breakfast was more than you could ask for. We highly recommend this stay. |
