Tel-aviv
Set in picturesque gardens only a short walk from the historic part of town, Hilton Imperial Dubrovnik overlooks the city walls and historic fortresses. The property links 2 impressive hotels originally built in 1895. It preserved its original 19th-century architecture, while at the same time, a mix of modern comforts and technology contributes to a very pleasant stay. All rooms are decorated in a modern style with a discreet lighting, warm tones and beautiful wood and marble trimmings. The Porat Restaurant offers an excellent choice of international and Dalmatian specialties, complemented by fruity Dalmatian wines. The spacious terrace offers stunning views of the Old Town. The lobby bar looks onto Fort Revelin and is the place to meet for coffee, sample light lunches or snacks like Dalmatian ham. Enjoy a delicious cocktail or a glass of the local Rakija brandy. Live music creates an intimate atmosphere. Hotel Rooms: 147, Hotel Chain: Hilton Hotels.

It was very close to city gates and therefore ideally situated. There is no free wi-fi and I think that hotels like this should not be charging for it when every small hotel has it for free these days.

Everything were just astonishing. Hotel is very close (about 2 minutes walk) to old town as well as to bus stop where all lines pass from there. Very strategic location. Excellent air conditioning since I stayed mid July with 38 Degrees outside. Very spacous rooms. The staff was very helpful at every situation. There was a tiny problem initially with the room because they gave me a double room by mistake and I had asked for a twin room and they apologised for their mistake and gave me a new room.

The hotel is a big 19th Century building, recently much and well restored. It is situated just 200m outside the main Pile gate to the old city. A bus stop for buses to the port/intercity bus station is outside the gate. The bus to the airport leaves about 15 minutes walk away. There is a business centre with a PC with internet access (but that costs seven times as much as an internet cafe in the town). Reception was friendly and efficient, smiling helpful staff. There is a light and airy lounge/bar with English-language papers (Guardian, USA Today). My room was pleasant, decent sized, well equipped. Desk, armchair, good lighting, minibar, tea and coffee, safe. TV with five English-language news channels, an English-language Japanese broadcaster and Fashion TV, but no English-language entertainment (pay films available). Several German channels. Thick curtains kept out all the sunlight. Reasonably effective air conditioning (ice machine in the corridor). Ironing board. I had the cheapest grade of room (no balcony and no sea or city view): my view was pleasant of trees in a park and old houses rising up a hillside. Bright large bathroom. Good Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries. Large towels, bathrobe. Breakfast was a magnificent spread: cereal, fruit, cheeses; eggs and pancakes cooked to order. A Japanese section too. The restaurant was at the level of a terrace, so light and airy, with tables outside in better weather. Friendly attentive staff. Indeed all the staff said hello when they passed you in the corridors. I really liked my stay

Excellent location and good service particularly at the executive cub. I hate the fact that we had to pay for internet connection at a Hilton hotel when we did not have to pay at smaller hotels. Also, we were charge an exorbitant rate for laundry services!! Will never use these services again. It is obvious that the hotel is being opportunistic in doing this.

Staff kind although bit formal. Position is fantastic but only a third of rooms would take advantage. Price at 350 euro/room in the dependence mansarde is too high for an ordinary room after all. Fridge not working, sink with difficult evacuation...no slippers.

The hotel was excellent and the staff were extremely helpful. The location is fabulous and it would be difficult to find a better placed hotel. The breakfast buffet is probably the best breakfast we have had - you can have almost anything yu can think off and some things are made specially to order. The pool and sauna were brilliant at the end of each day and the large glass roof made you feel like you were swimming outdoors. The room rate was excellent although it does mean you don't get a fabulous view but as we were only there to sleep so didn't miss the view at all. We stayed in the hotel restaurant for a meal one evening which was very expensive and I thought the food was not of brilliant but my husband liked his. The restaurant was very quiet and lacked any atmosphere and we felt the meals at local restaurants in and outside of the old city walls were better value with much more atmosphere.

You need a ticket to get out of the car park, but they don't tell you that when you check out, so you have to abandon the car and return to reception to get it! Not much of a complaint, really. The hotel is wonderful.

Very good location just outside the Old Town and close to bus stop and taxi rank. Excellent facilities, service, staff and comfort and, being out of season, it offered superb value for money, especially as the rate included a first-rate breakfast.

The interior design and exterior facade maintained the history of the building and area (historic ambience). The proximity to the historic Old Town was super - 2 minute walk. Close to all amenities E.G. restaurants, cafes, view of the Adriatic sea on your doorstep (not quite from hotel though...) The hotel bar had a grand piano, played most evenings and was lovely to listen too. The food is fine, edible. Meat /bacon etc could be better at breakfast. Staff were efficient and friendly enough. The hotel was bright and well maintained. The gym was equipped with only 1 of each machine E.G. 1 treadmill, which was used quite frequently so you'd have to wait most times to hop on it. Also, the cost of logging on to the internet was excessive; no free Wifi provided in this hotel, unlike others.

The hotel is ideally placed to visit the City and for boat trips. There were plenty of excellent restaurants within a few minutes walk of the hotel. All the staff were friendly and helpful. All requests were dealt with promptly and efficiently. The buffet breakfasts were very good with a wide range of foods.

Just the location.. Was perfect! No wifi internet in the rooms.. And also we should pay to use the internet.. Nowadays, I think it is not acceptable in a 5 star hotel. A little bit overpriced too.

Top-notch hotel with a great location. It's a two-minute walk to the old city main entrance. The hotel drips with luxury and our superior room in the annex was lovely. Nice indoor pool and very nice and the bountiful breakfast was excellent. It's expensive, but worth it for a special occasion.

Location, location- it's all about proximity to the Old town. The rooms are good, the concierge is rude and the indoor pool isn't spectacular. All in all it's plesant! Very rude concierge- didn't give us any helpful tips. I also can't believe you charge for parking and the spa is tacky
