Horizont Resort    

Location is great, We had D type apartaments with sea view, it was wonderful and tidy. 1 minute from beach and 2 minutes from restourant and market. All staff are very friendly. I recommend that for young couples.

I liked the setting and thought it was good value for money.It was the first time we had gone 2** and was very pleased.

I thought the food could be improved on site and the supermarket could be better stocked.

The room was clean, next to the beach, close to the city (3-4km, around 3eu in a Cammeo-taxi or 10eu in a Pula-taxi). Very quiet because most of the guests are families, just a few young couples. It has a supermarket with good variety, even with toilet paper (see dislikes).

The food at the restaurants is terrible: pizza, ham sandwich, hamburgers in a place with a loooot of sea-food it's a pity. Besides, they all close at 10pm which for many people is too early to have dinner. Every apartment has a kitchen, but lacks of kitchenware and soap&sponge to clean up the utensils. They give you only two toilet paper rolls, even if you stay a week and you are 4-5 people, that is why they sell it at the supermarket. They change the towels every three days. They want to charge you for everything, chairs at the beach, umbrellas, air to inflate an air-mattress, calls to taxis, ac, internet. I think they have some kind of agreement with the expensive/tourist taxis in Pula, because if you ask for a taxi at the reception, they just call this ones (with rude non-speaking-english drivers), instead of the local-cheap cammeo taxis with friendly, well educated drivers.

It was nice that the resort included coastline.

Would not stay again. There is a nightclub that played loud music until 4am. There were people digging in the dumpsters. Had to park on grassy hill. No air conditioning or fans. Room was dirty. Ants in room. Aside from swimming in the sea we tried to avoid the room/facility as much as possible. We were not told that the pets were 10e per pet, per day! Wi- Fi was only available at reception, which was a hike away.

The staff in restaurants and super market was adorable. Some of the staff in the reception could, on the other hand, do with a charrm course.

The presentation in Booking.com was very misleading. You've got the image of the appartments around a pool area. Not at all! (The pool belongs to Hotel Spendid, not Horizont) In all it was more like living a noisy suburb with overfilled garbage barrels just outside the window where "poor" people stopped to look for something twenty times a day. As always in Croatia you're depending on good ladders to get in and out of the sea. These here were terrible!

Location and the hotel in general

A great location close to Pula but helps if you have a car to visit the nearby villages and towns such as Premantura and Medulin. We used the pool at Splendid resort everyday plus the entertainment for children was good.

Old and out of date accomodation, plus the general cleanliness of the rooms was below par. Horizont was marketed to us as a family resort but that comes with a loud disco (Zepplin) which goes on to 2 in the morning. Lots of young people running around the resort at night being especially the very loud German flip-flop brigade! Thankfully they only stayed 5 nights.

Staffs were very kind and helpful at the reception. They were ready to change our apartment to have AirCond in the same day we arrived. On the top of that thanks to this change we had nice sea view. Additional fee was not so high as it was expected based on the increased comfort. Summarising we were satisfied, we spent some nice days.

We booked apartment with the option A/C is available for extra fee. However there was no A/C possibility in the apartment at all. Fortunately we had possibility to change the apartment.

Near to the beach, own facilities such as swimming pool and supermarket

No air con in the room, we were not informed prior to stay. The room had no basic facilities such as washing liquid, freezer, kettle, etc. I had to pay for a quick phone call to order a taxi at reception There were insects in the apartment when we arrived.

Good location, great restaurant service and food selections. Nice beaches

The 3-consecutive night minimum policy was not displayed on the booking.com website. So, when we went to the reception to make a change to oudr itinerary, we were told we would have to pay for three nights. Room provided was "group b", which meant that it had no air conditioner. The room was not cleaned to the standards we were used to (trash behind the sofa bed, dirty linen). No shampoo provided. I will not recommend anyone to stay here.

The location was lovely,right on the coast , with miles of coastalwalks or cycling paths. Within a short walking distance from the resort entrance you can take a bus into Pula(every 20 minutes for 2 kuna) and onward to other places like Rovinj or Porec. There is a small seawater swimming pool outside the main restaurant for anyone unable to access the sea from the rocks. We found the little family run pizzaria cafe/restaurant down by the rocks very good value for money and the owners were lovely people

The resort is large and made up of an old part`-The Horizont`-(built a good no. Of years ago-I thought I saw a sign saying 1969!!)and `The Splendid`- the newer section.The Horizont part is very tired and in dire need of more than a lick of paint.The morning we arrived there was a thunderstorm and the paths quickly became rivers and we thought we had arrived at the grey concrete block buildings of an army camp!! In the sunshine that afternoon it looked a lot better. The whole place is built on the side of a hill with steps everywhere and so not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties.The coastline is very rocky and picturesque.There are several places to access the sea for swimming but not for young children.Also swim shoes are a must if swimming anywhere on this or the rest of the Istrian coast because of the sharp rocks,barnacles and sea urchins.We were only staying here 4 nights as we were meeting up with friends in an apartment in Porec. If it had been our main holiday accommodation for longer I think we would have been very disappointed with the facilities which is a shame as it has so much potential and now competition from some lovely looking new hotels across the bay and around the headland.It would be ok as a 1or 2 night stop over while touring the area.

We loved the location of the hotel, it's really close to the sea. The area is perfect for holiday, for family or couples. The apartment was good located, we had the morning sun in the balcony, and a beautiful view on the sea. The hotel was close to the city, we could use ours bicycles for excursion, or go running and swimming after in the sea. The staff was nice, they satisfied all the demands we had. We loved that we could prepare our meal in the kitchenette. We spent one week before the real season so the sea was cold but very clean. So we had a good time, in a good ambiance and environment.

I didn't like that there were a lot of ants in the kitchen, or in the bathroom. No WI-fi in the room, only at the reception. It would be nice to have more cleaning products in the apartment. And more sport facilities, like a real sport terrain.

Beautiful location, value for money, nice apartments

Really unpleasant smell was coming out of pipes in bathroom.

Ośrodek ładnie usytuowany w lesie (dzięki czemu mieliśmy spokój I ciszę od zgiełku ulicznego), nad samym morzem. Kwatera czysta - duży aneks kuchenny I jadalnia, dwa pokoje, łazienka, taras z widokiem na morze (zamawialiśmy pokój z widokiem na las, bo był tańszy; z jednej strony rzeczywiście był las, a z drugiej między budynkami widać było trochę morza). Możliwość spacerów nad morzem. Ogólne wrażenie bardzo pozytywne.

Kanapa w dużym pokoju była nierozkładana I ustawiona pod kątem (spadek do środka), więc córce trochę niewygodnie się spało. Bardzo wolno rozgrzewają się palniki kuchenki elektrycznej (mniejszy działał lepiej niż większy I praktycznie cały czas grzaliśmy wodę na tym małym). Wifi nie jest na terenie całego ośrodka, tylko w recepcji I przy basenie.

Ich bin Stammgast in diesem Hotel und bisher war immer alles supi. Aber dieses mal waren wir in einem sehr abgenutzten Zimmer. Renovierung erforderlich!!!

L'infrastructure du complexe : supermarché, piscine, restaurant, bord de mer à proximité l'accueil nous avons put profiter de l’appartement plus tôt que prévu le paysage et magnifique proximité du bus centre ville et centre historique n'est pas trop loin en bus ou voiture (5/8 min) appartement pour deux personnes était de taille correcte

L'insonorisation dans le restaurant le splendide au bord de la piscine le contenu des assiettes est minuscule(6 frites qui se battent en duel)

Rewelacyjne położenie dla osób ceniących spokój i piękne widoki. Przyjacielski personel. Wygodne łóżka, praktyczny anex kuchenny, czysto. Kilkadziesiąt metrów do morza :) rewelacja. Polecamy i za parę miesięcy wracamy ponownie :)

byliśmy w maju - nie działała lodówka, trochę daleko do miasta ( ale to nie do końca minus...) wifi tylko na recepcji, knajpa hotelowa ma wyższe ceny niż na starówce w Puli.

Месторасположение очень удачное! В отеле есть разные форматы номеров, есть комплекс современных номеров, а есть отдельные апартаменты, что очень удобно, можно выбрать на любой кошелек! Нам понравилось очень! Как будто в пионерском лагере побывали! Если поедем еще в Хорватию, обязательно в этот отель!

Со спортивными развлечениями засада, кроме велосипедов ничего нет! Уборка в апартаментах очень редко происходит.

Ja, houding/klantvriendelijkheid personeel en belachelijk hoge prijs voor kopje koffie bij terrasje vlakbij supermarkt op het terrein. Niet passend bij gebied, overal aardige bediening en lage prijzen voor een kopje koffie in de stad zelf, maar niet hier!!!!

die rezeption ist sehr weit von den appartments. die appartments haben keine verbindung zum rezeption. wenn irgendwas passiert im app., kann keine hilfe rufen.es gibt kein telefon, kein knopf zu drücken usw. die einrichtung ist sehr primtiv. das hotel ist nicht renoviert.die gäste sollen um 10 uhr morgens out-chick machen. wo gibt so was. mind. soll bis 12 uhr sein.ich bin angekommen mit einem anderen freund angekommen. wir haben an der rezeption gefragt, ob wir 2 app. im selben haus bekommen können. leider nicht bekommen.grund: alles voll. nach der ersten übernachtung hat es heftig geregnet. die terasse bei mir war sofort voll wasser. das wasser ist ins app. eingedungen. das ganze app. überschwamm in wasser.es ga kein notruf. ich musste warten, bis der regen stoppte und bin ich in dei rez. gegangen. sehr weit vom app.die mitarbeiterin hat mir sofort ein neues app. im selben haus gegaben.was heisst das: das heisst, vom anfag an war jedoch 2 app. neebn einander im selben haus. warum haben wir vom anfag an nicht bekommen? wir haben auch festgetsellt, dass die hälfte oder mehr der anlage leer ist.was mich auch geärgert hat: ich bin überall gereist. kein land oder hotel behält das passport, wenn die rechnung nicht sofort bezahlt. aber horizent ja. bei der reservierung hat gestanden, dass bezahlung am ende des aufenthalts zu erbringen. nichts erwähnt, die passports werden einbehalten, wenn nicht sofort bezahlt. es gab natürlich eine diskussion. das brauche ich nicht.alles in allem, ist teil meiner reise verdorben. teil meiner klamoten und schuhe sind durch den regen bzw. wasser im app. zum wegschmeissen. die lust ist auch deswegen vergangen.ich bin ja bekannt für herzkrankheit. ich nahm alles zum herzen und verlor grosses stück an spass im urlaub.
