Hotel Kompas  

Hotel is quite simple but has a good value for the money. Rooms are spacious, confortable and very clean. Good view over Lapad bay. Good location if you rent a car, aprox 10 min from downtown. We travelled with a 6 month baby and they gave us a very comfortable baby cod, much better than in many 4* hotels where we have stayed before. If you have a rental c ar and do not want to spend a lot of money in accomodation, this is a very good option.

Hotel has extremelly dificult access for disable people, strollers and if you carry many luggage as it does not have elevator to some public areas (reception, restaurant). Poor breakfast

It was in a great location over looking the bay, I would recommend getting a room with a Balcony and a sea view, as it was a great view. The pool and cafe were also great!

We stayed in the Kompas for 2 nights last week. The hotel was well located but our room 618 was very dark. It cost €286 euro for the two nights and I would consider that very expensive for the type of room we got. M. galvin

It´s a old hotel.

The staff were friendly. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Live entertainment in the evenings was good.

The hotel is a half hour (very crowded) bus ride from Dubrovnik Old Town. The local "beach" is small, crowded and uninviting.

It's nice location.

There is no valcony. It would be good if there could be space in the room to dry towels in the sun after sea bathing.

Friendly staff, goof location (in a nice area "Lapad" and walking distance to bus station to old city)

An old hotel but good value for money

Staff were not very friendly (with the exception of the older lady serving around the pool area). Our room smelt of smoke and the air con did not work properly causing an uncomfortable sleep bearing in mind we booked this hotel for a bit a luxury at the end of our holiday, the guest houses we stayed in prior to this were much nicer and a lot cheaper. The food was not the best considering the prices.

Booked two rooms ,one was for our travel friends, Hotel took both room prepayments from my cedit card. Very inconvienient

Needed more variety between days for breakfast buffet.

Удобное расположение относительно центра Дубровника.Возможность совмещать пляжный отдых с экскурсиями.Очень приятно наличие ежедневных музыкальных вечеров в отеле,разнообразные мероприятия предпринимаемые администрацией отеля и в целом муниципалитетом Дубровника для развлечения и привлечения туристов.Все делается ненавязчиво и с достоинством.

Необходим косметический ремонт номеров.Неприятно поразила дверь,находящаяся в номере и соединяющая два соседних номера. Основной недостаток состояние пляжа :используется многими отелями и отдыхающими,вследствие чего он грязный,замусоренный и убирается крайне плохо.Приходилось уходить вдоль берега бухты и пользоваться спуском в море по камням,что затруднительно для людей пожилого возраста.
