Breakfast was nice, as well as the location.

Unfriendly staff, wanting to charge 55 euro more than on the reservation, which they couldn't even find when we arrived. The garage is 13 eur/day which we payed but we didn't have a parking place but parked in the middle of the garage??? Hello people this is a 5 star hotel?? Not likely!!!! Very disappointing.

Not the first time in Milenij Hotel, and every time is the same feeling: we want to come back! Pleasant staff, great food, superb location, wonderful spa, delicious cakes...

Just a tiny little detail: no coffee/tea makers in rooms!

Location, view and comfort are excellent. Price was very acceptable for the category of accomodation.

I do not understand why a hotel guest should pay use of the (otherwise almost empty) hotel garage

A beautiful hotel in a beautiful town. It's worth getting a seafront view - the cost of something similar in France or Italy would be 4 times the cost, so take advantage. Otherwise, the room is basic, but the staff is nice and the breakfast buffet is wonderful. The location couldn't be better - make sure you walk the Promenade on either side as the towns along the coast are worth seeing. And you can walk the whole thing on the gorgeous Lungomere. I didn't have time to use the spa, but it looked really nice.

This was our second visit. Everything was perfect, new rooms are great. This is certainly the best hotel in Opatija.

We had certain remarks during our previous visit which we did not noticed now.

sauna is not included in the room. If the sauna is included in the price of services, I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

A perfect spot the best location on the sea front

We had a good room which was spoilt by poor sanitation - smelly drains and a leaking toilet. The AC was uncontrollable and we had to have the windows open all night. When a party was held just below the room it was as though we were on the front row of the band. When we complained the hotel moved us to another room in the modern part. Too late not to spoil a great hotel and location!

Everything was superb! we really enjoyed the staff, the location, the luxury and the spa. The only problem was the air conditioning system that was not working. The food was great. Recommend guests eat in the dining room overlooking the Adriatic. The spa is marvellous. We had a massage, facial and pedicure and it was done well.

Air conditioning was not quite up to its task. Rooms have no balconies.

Beautiful historical-ish building with luxurious facilities. Every morning there were beautiful girls dressed in historical outfits promenading around. Extremely nice and helpfull staff. Breakfasts were satisfactory, but chaotic (one day self-served, other day staff wanted to bring you everything), otherwise we were very pleased with quality of food in this hotel ( fantastic home-made chocolates ) . Good massages ( but no relax music ). Dinners in hotel gardens with live music were epic.

Missing private hotel beach by the sea - only public concrete beaches everywhere. The hotel swimming pool was nice , but water was quite hot from the sun. The bathtub in the room was small. Not enough closets in the room and almost no free space in the bathroom to store your belongings.

Feel good hotel in an excellent location. Great sea view. Breakfast out of this world with so much choice, including sparkling wine. Helpful staff, happy to get the car out of the difficult garage for us. Free internet. Spa facilities very good and relaxing.

Bed far too soft. Breakfast coffee not freshly made but rather from an urn. Paying for parking is a little much given the price of the hotel.

I liked the website and the vision of a very elegant hotel by the sea side attracted me to the point of payinf so much per one night. The room had a lovely sea view which I payed for additionally. I wanted to use a gym, but it turned out it had only cardio machine that I would have to pay extra for:(. I loved the breackfast buffet and the restaurant by the sea. The 'beach' front was concreat, so not exactly what you dream of. Loved the jaccuzi and the launges with sea view tho. Bathroom was lovely.

The room had twin beds instead of double, air con was not woeking and a blind (electric) broke in the middle of the night, half way down, making it impossible to sleep as it was so hot. The town was closing down early, 10pm ish, but surprisingly it was noisy at night. The spa treatment was great, but I was missing out on relaxing music during and a glass of water after my treat. Too dear in general. The hotel restaurant food wasnt up to scratch, veggies werent fresh, the souce was salty and the caffee next door shut down at 10pm so we had no choise of a proper dessert, altho I asked beforehand if the coffee place is open as long as the restaurant!!!! The town was described as 'second Venice' and it turned out to be just a familly oriented and retirement destination place. Wouldnt go back sadly.

The hotel is not a 5 stars max 4 stars. Breakfast is just good for 4 stars standard. Service in the room was made always early afternoon. That is late. For the provided services at the beginning of the season the price could be lower. No air condition in the rooms when temperature was in the room 28 C. After my demand was provided a portable one as we have a small baby with us. The hotel actually have central system but as we have been informed it was out of order.......
