Hotel Istra  

The location is amazing. This is the best place for a family!! The animation and sports staff were so fun! My daughter loved the kids club. She stayed there everyday for 2 hours, so mom and dad could have adult time! She said it was her favorite thing about the vacation;)The food in Laterna, Lantana, and the pizzeria were delicious, the best steak and beer ever. The spa was so relaxing too, we were the only ones in there. They offered a wide variety of sports and boat rentals too. We took a canoe around the islands-gorgeous. We stayed 5 nights and had no reason to leave the island! If you stay longer, you may want to do some day excursions. I give our vacation in Croatia a 10!

Our air conditioner and refrigerator didn't work the first night. They fixed them the next day. I'm American, and I like my ice! No ice for the in-room drinks or the cooler. I asked the front desk if we needed reservations for the restaurant and she said no. That was not true. They fill up quickly so make a reservation! You can go early in the day and pick out the best table and reserve it!!

We were surrounded by the sea, yet at the same time we enjoyed the full comfort of the hotel, its swimming pools, bars, end restaurants. The Lanterna restaurant in the old castle nearby offers the best sea-food and other specialities, more over we were served there by the superbly trained waiters, who speak at least four languages. Running around the island in the morning was very enjoyable, and swimming in the clean sea water just perfect way to relax and feel good.

I cannot understand all the positive reviews... The hotel was far too expensive for what was offered. Staying on the Island is a handicap : always wait for the boat (once every hour), parking 1,5km from the harbour so again wait for the shuttle, extremely noisy : too much people, rooms extremely noisy and hardly isolated, when you want a place at the pool you have to wake up at 6 am, breakfast was the worst I ever had, staff couldn't care less about the guests. We went afterwards to a Kempinsky which was cheaper (!!!)

Hotel je u dobrom stanju, sobe su prostrane i čiste, lokacija je fantastična. Ostrvo je prelepo sa puno zelenila, savršeno za miran odmor.

S obzirom na kategoriju i cenu doručak bi morao biti kvalitetniji (veštački sokovi nikako ne idu uz 4 zvezdice). Velika zamerka ide na to što je internet dostupan po visokoj ceni (4 evra za pola sata!), nigde nije besplatan, čak ni u lobiju, a to je stvarno sramota jer hotel ovakve kategorije to mora imati kao besplatan sadržaj.

Z mozem sva bivala v vasem hotelu prvic in sva bila zelo navdusena nad vsem. vsec nama je vse kar ste nama ponudili, mislim, da se bova rada vrnila. Tudi vsem znancem in prijateljem sva porocala o precudovitem vikendu,ki sva ga prezivela pri vas. Ostal nama je v lepem spominu. Kmalu nasnidenje

Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, das Essen und das Managen von so vielen Gästen hervorragend. Die Lage der Insel ist einfach toll und das Hotel fügt sich sehr gut ein, die Vegetation wird gepflegt und so hat man einen traumhaften Naturgarten.Einfach wunderschön!

Der Komfort und die Anlage kratzt eigentlich an den 5 Sternen, jedoch das Abendprogramm gehört wohl eher zu einem 3 Stern-Hotel. Laute Live-Musik von Hobbymusikern, die eher selten die richtigen Töne treffen, Animationstanz-performance der Animateure, die allesamt lieb sind, jedoch deren Einlage von eineinhalb Stunden zu sehr lauter Discomusik ein Albtraum ist. Unverständlich, man sitzt dort in einer lauschigen kleinen Bucht mit Blick Richtung Rovinj, alles perfekt für einen traumhaften Abend mit unvergesslichen Eindrücken, doch das wird durch unerträglichen Krach zunichte gemacht. Viele andere Gäste haben so wie wir auch den Platz jeden Abend aufgesucht und nach kurzen Verweilen enttäuscht wieder verlassen. Sehr schade!!! (wenn schon Musik, dann leise und von Profis)

Seit meinem letzten Aufendhalt vor einigen Jahren hat es sich sehr zum positiven geändert. Personal sehr freundlich.

An Abendunterhaltung wird wenig geboten. Das Frühstück ist unter durchschnitt.

L' isola è molto bella ,e ben curata,il mare limpido, è perfetto per chi vuole fare snorkeling.Un posto di vero relax.

Alla sera, a parte il bar sul porticciolo ci sono poche attrazioni.

Besonders schön war die Lage auf der Insel und doch die Nähe zu Rovinj. Schöne Zimmer mit Meerblick, schöne strände auf der Insel.

Dass bei dem gehobenen Preisniveau noch sämtliche extras zusätzlich zu bezahlen waren Z. B. Liegen am Strand, W-Lan etc. und dass das Früchstück nicht auf der Terrasse sondern nur im überfüllten Speisesaal eingenommen werden konnte
