Hotel Ivan  

The staff were fantastic - extremely friendly and attentive. Upon arrival we were led to the room we had booked, but it was explained to us that there had been issues with the air conditioning in there, so we were given the option to move to a much larger room at no extra cost, which of course we took. The hotel itself is reasonably priced, and for the money it's difficult to fault. If you have realistic expectations of a small, family run hotel at that cost, then you will not be disappointed.

location was really good. The pool and outdoor areas were good facilities to have. Staff tried their best but we got the impression that the owners were not willing to offer any major concessions when there were problems.

The hotel claims that rooms are air conditioned however in our opinion they are not. You cannot set the temperature of the rooms as is the norm in air conditioned rooms. The rooms have an electric blow heater / cooler unit and cold air only comes through at set times for very limited periods controlled by management e.g. 4-6pm so at night we found the heat extremely uncomfortable. In addition one of the units in our room was broken which did not help. Management offered us an alternative apartment because of this however this was much smaller (had the same type of ineffective cooling unit) and did not have the sea view which we had paid extra for. Incredibly they expected us to pay the same amount for the alternative apartment so we stayed where we were. As we were staying for 6 nights we felt this was a very poor response. The hotel also claimed to have WiFi but this only worked in the public areas e.g. restaurant and terrace. Our apartment had no terrace to dry clothes on after the beach etc which could also be a consideration for others. We did not feel we got value for our money. Also the room costs were charged to the credit card days before before we checked out and authorised the payment which we felt was irregular and were not happy with.

Every thing, mainly the staff and the owner- Ivan and maya . They are real and sincere srvice providers. The location. the view, the old sote building are just marvelous.

Very frendly hotel staff, nice and clean swiming pool, kitchenet in the room, price was good, building is very nice.

Wi-fi was not available in the room. Only on terace.

The actual hotel was absolutely charming and the staff were very pleasant and accomodating. It was in walking distant to the city centre and restaurants as well as to a breathtaking little beach. The main tourist bech "zlatni rat" could be reached by boat taxi from city centre

The only and I mean only negative was the airconditioning which didnt cool the room at all. This issue wasn't isolated to one room as we were moved to a new room when we complained and other guests were complaining as well, the maintenance man had his hands full with repairs all day. If the resolve the airconditioning issue they will have a terrific little hotel.

Die Lage ist gut , das Zimmer sauber, das Personal ist freundlich.

Das Zimmer ist sehr klein, beim Frühstück gibt es keinen richtigen guten Cafe.

Buono per il rapporto qualità /prezzo visto lo standar croato , a gestione familare quindi questo comporta un'attenzione particolare su alcune cose come cura delle camere,pulizia della piscina e colazione , purtroppo però non riescono ad organizzare bene la proposta per la cena, forse perché tutti i turisti escono nei vari locali presenti

La simpatia del personale, la vista panoramica dell'hotel, il clima fresco e asciutto delle stanze e della terrazza con piscina.

L'area colazione: poco acogliente. La colazione potrebbe essere più variegata. La vista mare non ci è stata data nonostante fosse stata richiesta e proposta da BooKing.

Fin beliggenhet. Fint med lite hotell. Veldig hyggelig personale og hyggelig frokostplass på terrassen!

Fantastiskt trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Rena och bekväma rum. Mycket bra frukostbuffe (ovanligt i Kroatien). Fin swimmingpool. Spa-möjligheter till lågt pris.

Nära city, stor lägenhet. Bra service.

Hotellet är en katastrof för de pengar man betalar. Dåliga rum m.m. Finns inget

Fint poolområde. Bra frukost. Inte långt till fin strand. Skulle gärna åka hit igen.

super Pool, sehr sauber und jederzeit zu benutzen. tolle Pfannkuchen zum Morgenessen wunderbare Aussicht aus dem hübschen Zimmer Das Abendessen frisch vom Grill. Die Nähe zum Strand (Achtung, zum Zlanti Rat sind es aber anders als im Prospekt angegeben keine 800 Meter sondern über 3 Kilometer. Es gibt allerdings auch einen schönen Strand in der Nähe des Hotels, der auch nicht so überfüllt ist.)

Das Frühstückangebot sollte unbedingt verbessert werden: Nicht nur Orangensaft, sondern auch Wasser und andere Fruchtsäfte, vorallem aber nicht nur Istantkaffee(!!! für ein Dreisternhotel etwas peinlich..) Auch sollte man den Gästen, die auf die frühe Fähre am Morgen müssen, das Frühstück als Picknick mitgeben, denn es ist ja im Preis enthalten. Die Hotelangestellten könnten teilweise etwas zurückhaltender sein bzw. das Hotel eignet sich sehr gut für Leute, die es familär mögen, inkl. Fussballmatch im Fernsehen usw. Ich persönlich fand es etwas seltsam, von den Angestellten über meinen Tag ausgefragt zu werden, das erinnert mich eher an meine Eltern :-)

Mycket hjälpsam och trevlig personal. Sjukgymnasten kan rekommenderas! Mkt kompetent och prisvärd. Fick behålla rummet på avresedagen utan kostnad. Lugnt läge, vacker utsikt. (inte lämpligt f rörelsehindrad, trappor och nivåskillnad).

Wi-Fi endast i allmänna utrymmen.

Dårlig aircondition

Hotel Ivan położony jest z dala od centrum, jest hotelem spokojnym bardzo dużym plusem jest basen przy hotelu.

Cały czas takie same śniadania I jego mały wybór.

Hotellet ligger vakkert til med utsikt til sjøen og over til Hvar. Kort avstand til Bol sentrum og til Taxibåtene som tar deg til Zlatni Rat beach. For de litt sporty er det en fin spasertur til Zlatni Rat stranden, ca 20 min. Vennlige og hjelpsomme ansatte på hotellet.

Frokosten var helt ok, men ikke så veldig spennende.

Lage

Probleme mit Zimmerbuchung, keine Urlaubsathmosphäre, Frühstücksbuffet oberflächlich und dürftig, kein Engagement, Klimaanlage funktioniert nicht.

Das Hotel ist ideal gelegen, um Bol zu entdecken. Parkplätze beim Hotel sind vorhanden, man kann also zu Fuss in das Städtchen (5 min.). Wer ans goldene Horn möchte, nimmt das Auto - es hat aber auch zwei schöne Kiesstrände in Gehdistanz - oder eben den Pool im Hotel, ein tolle Sache.

Das Frühstück könnte noch aufgewertet werden, inbesondere der Kaffee, doch das ist in Kroatien ja nichts Neues....

Lovely views over sea. Beautifully converted old building in old town. Near several good beaches and an easy ferry trip to Zlatni Rat

Stayed in an apartment type room. Had kitchenette but no equipment of any kind. Staff loaned us a few essentials. The car park is not easy to find. We made the mistake of dragging our luggage through the old town. Make sure you locate the car park before you attempt that!
