huge and comfortable rooms - rich and tasteful breakfast buffet - clean rooms with balcony - parking lot and basement garage at the hotel
Good breakfasts in a nice setting.
No little touches like toiletries which are usually provided in a place of this price and standard. Have booked again on a special deal but would not stay again at full price.
Lovely staff, large room, over all happy with our stay:)
Location a bit out of the way
Just free wifi
Others except free wifi
Free parking and walking distance to the old town (25 min).
The ladies working at the restaurant weren't very kind, or their english was just very poor and direct "sit there" "water pay". The matresses weren't comfortable and the wi-fi sometimes didn't work properly.
Underground parking (free!) is a huge bonus ! Staff all very helpful.
Location is not quite as close to the old town as we had expected, but the bus stop is close by and frequent
Good location, near beach and restaurants. Easy access to old town by bus. Good breakfast.
Big sized room with a big tereace, very comfortable, good selection for breakfast, free private garage and wifi.
.. and the best croissants I have ever tasted for breakfast - hot, fresh, and felt like they spread they wings and fly through the windows :) a great memory!
breakfest nice staff
room without balcony
Good comfy hotel food good value for money
nothing to not like
When I asked for help with my lugguage lock in the reception, both the office staff and the mechanical man tried very best to remove the locked key. Their kindness is greatly appreciated. Also, there is a balcony for fresh air and sunshine.
It's quite remoted from the old town. Better check the buses more thoroughly before heading to the old town.
Hotel let tour busses to park in front of the car park and i had to wait 45 mins for stupid bus driver, blocked my car
Close to the marina
Wifi signal was terrible, beds were not comfortable
Location - near to Old City, Port and beach. All can be also reachable by public transport, bus stop situated 150m from hotel. Cuisine.
MiniBar and Refrigirator was not in room.
The room (bathroom, balcony) is large and quite comfortable. We had half board and the food was good and diverse enough (veg, meat etc). The bus station for the nr. 6 bus which takes you to the Old Town is very close (just up the street) and the whole trip takes about 10 min. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The closest beach is Lapad which is about 15 min walk by foot. The walk back to the hotel is up-hill a 600 meters long street so quite tiring. At dinner we were not told that drinks were not included in our HB offer which was confusing when in the 2nd evening we were asked to pay for them. But nothing too terrible, the hotel is good value for money and located fairly ok (about 13-15 min from beach or Old Town)
Lovely hotel and very friendly staff
Location is far from everything if you don't have your own transport.
I had just come from a $221/night hotel and paid $100 for hotel ivka- the room was nicer than the other hotel! The beds were very comfortable and there was a nice atmosphere about the place. The location is fine unless you want everything is walking distance. It's a bit far from the Old City, but the bus stop is very close and you can buy tickets on the bus for 15 kuna one way. It is close to the Gruz, but it will still take a bit of walking to get anywhere. I had to leave very early in the morning (4 am!) so I missed the breakfast but without asking they packed me a bite to go! Very thoughtful.
Just the location. But the street was quiet which, in a city full of tourists, can be a nice break :)
Generally functioning hotel. Free parking.
Quite far from the old city. Meals ok but felt cheap.
About 30 minute drive from the airport. Friendly staff, clean rooms with balcony, good parking facilities. Extensive free buffet breakfast. Generally a good base to explore from.
Bar closes at 10pm and no vending machines or nearby shops to buy drinks after 10pm. Not a great deal of restaurants or bars in the immediate vicinity - although there is a good restaurant directly behind the hotel up a hill. A bit of a distance from the old town - we planned on walking but it was too much in the heat so we got a taxi (about £8 to the Old Town). A 7.6% tax was added to our bill when leaving. Apparently this is common throughout Croatia.
Close to the beach. Staff really helpful
Good location - Old City easy to reach Very nice and helpful staff
WiFi did not work one evening
* Food was really good (breakfast and dinner); * Staff were helpful; * It is a very good hotel for a 3 star, so I think it is really worth it, I would recommend; * Also, the location was good, bus stop is very close and by bus it takes just a few minutes to get to old town.
* We booked a double bed room but what we got was 2 single beds together, what was really annoying. We are a couple who were on our first holidays together, sleeping on different beds, even though they were close, was very weird. * I think a bottle of water should be included in the dinner price (we had half board). We didn't know water was not included so we got a bottle from the table by our selves and the staff got really angry about that. We did not mind paying, but the way the staff have to come to every single customer to let them know that even water is not included is very embarrassing for both staff and customers.
I liked the location and the quiet of the area. Good staff attitude but food can be improved by variation towards Mediterranean salads and olive oil dressing. Buffet style means late comers get food that were cooked some while ago.
There was not much I didn't like, except that we were surrouinmded by beautiful turquoise seas, yet we had no view at all of the sea or even a pool of water. A little more gym facility would be welcomed.
