Its location, everything within an easy walking distance, only a couple of minutes to the ferry to Bari Underground secure parking, essential for my motorcycle.
bit far from the old town (not a problem for us, we had a car), the staff is not very helpful (I booked 2 rooms, they printed only half of the reservation and then started arguing that I booked only 1 room, and subsequently asked me for the price.. Their own staff doesn't know the price of their rooms???), but this is quite standard in Croatia, from my experience
clean rooms, easy parking, good breakfast
Outdated furniture, loud air condition in room.
Good location, short bus ride to the old town. Free parking.
Everything is ok.Good location,good staff.
Great hotel, but be aware it is not by the sea or in the old town. For us it was an ideal base, but it wouldn't be a place you wanted to spend your days at.
Big and nice rooms and breakfast included in the price
The restaurant opens only from 18:30 to 20:30 and outside the door there is contradictory information (20:30 in one site and 21:00 in another site). I arrived at 20:30 sharp for dinner and I was not attended in a rather unpolite manner. The walls are also not very well isolated from sounds from the other rooms and the wi-fi stoped in the last night due to some problem that could only be fixed in the next day.
It is a clean, nice hotel. Most of the staff is very kind and willingfull to help. The location gives access to several transports and is just 10 minutes from the city center.
I couldn't believe when i arrived that the room was better than the pics and soooo clean! Really quiet place, nice food, nice breakfast and i believe for what i received it was a great deal. Double room and halfboard included. Close to the old city especially with the car, for a 1 night stay we had it was more than good!
Several special places in the Old City to which the Dubrovnik Card allegedly gave one access - at a price - were mystetiously Closed for unexplained reasons, and some advertised "events" were impossible to locate
Walking around Lapad and the working harbour. Eating all the "traditional" dishes at reasonable prices with local inhabitants, rather than in the inflated hype and cost of anything in The Old City. The Old City is a fascinating Museum, but exploits its location, location, location to behave arrogantly, charge more and get away with it. The Saturday Tour Guide, and Folk concert were excellent. Getting out by bus to Cavtat and The Arboretum was easy and excellent even in the height of Winter.
Not a problem to us but there was only three TV channels that worked, however it was a bad storm at the time so could have been to do with that. A female member of staff we felt was quite rude to us as we had arrived early for check in and we were made to feel guilty; even though we said we would wait in the bar till check in. But she did sort us a room out and get us in before check in, just with an attitude.
The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom and shower were modern and very clean.
Noisy bed, only few channels on TV, no vegetables at breakfast
*The TV Reception was pathetic also (No English Speaking Channels) *Half board Dinner was very average - not worth the effort *Very basic 3 star Hotel
*Great underground secure car parking *Staff were friendly and courteous *Breakfast was good *Room and Bathroom were big however; no heating in Bathroom
Wi-fi ,food, heating and there wasn't enough public buses ,even a taxi to the center .The receptionist could not reach to the taxi company.
Far from the centre, need to climb 100 stairs to get to the main street, lousy breakfast, old furniture
Very big room, cleaned every day
very bad bed
A helipad so close to the apartment caught us by surprise.
Anita the receptionist and the concerned chambermaid who were both rather helpful.
No tea or coffee facility making facilities in bedroom.
Price for 4 nights here was £90 each Room was spacious Breakfast was excellent Bedrooms were quiet Bathroom wasn't cramped Hotel is 5 minutes walk from Number 6 bus into the Old Town.
No fridge in room. International TV channels not viewable.
Convenient mid range well run hotel with usual facilities. Meals (we had breakfast and evening dinner several times) were quite ok, buffet but plenty to choose from. Easy access to the old city by bus every 10 minutes. Front desk staff very helpful.
Bus tours stay there, so breakfast in the morning can be a hassle, as well as elevator service. Bar service is only fare and dinner service just barely passable. We did not eat there but observed the dinner buffet.
Easy parking, quick and inexpensive cab ride to old town, It was nice not negotiating stairs with luggage. Bath was good and hotel was quiet.
A pool would have been nice. A double bed was 2 singles pushed together, however the beds had high wooden edges that ever when pushed together had a wooden barrier between them, very disappointing. Evening buffet was disappointing, very basic and seemed to cater for fussy eaters only!
Hotel was clean. Room was big. Staff were friendly & knowledgeable. Decent location. Breakfast was good.
Wifi did not work in room, only on ground floor. Coffee at breakfast was not good, no possibility to make a cup of tea or coffee in the room. No insulation against noise in the corridor.
3km walk to the old town or 100m walk + bus drive (not much faster than walking all the way :-) Good breakfast buffet. Very clean room with large balcony.
Receptionist was a bit dour
Lovely big room, friendly staff in dining room and good value for money evening meal and breakfast.
No faceclothes Heavy rain caused brown water for most of trip, not really in control of hotel as same occurred in other hotels in town
Staff was friendly Room was clean WiFi worked okay for most of trip Excellent location near water and beaches
