Hotel Adria is in Gruz, 1.5 miles from Dubrovnik’s Old Town. Most rooms have a balcony with views of the Elafiti Islands and Lapad Bay. Free Wi-Fi and free parking are available.
Score from 1082 reviews Very good
Hotel Lero is only a scenic 20-minute walk from the Old Town of Dubrovnik and has nicely furnished rooms and tasty food, both of which are affordable.
Score from 425 reviews Very good
*Great underground secure car parking *Staff were friendly and courteous *Breakfast was good *Room and Bathroom were big however; no heating in Bathroom
*The TV Reception was pathetic also (No English Speaking Channels) *Half board Dinner was very average - not worth the effort *Very basic 3 star Hotel
Wi-fi ,food, heating and there wasn't enough public buses ,even a taxi to the center .The receptionist could not reach to the taxi company.
Very big room, cleaned every day
Far from the centre, need to climb 100 stairs to get to the main street, lousy breakfast, old furniture
very bad bed
Anita the receptionist and the concerned chambermaid who were both rather helpful.
A helipad so close to the apartment caught us by surprise.
Price for 4 nights here was £90 each Room was spacious Breakfast was excellent Bedrooms were quiet Bathroom wasn't cramped Hotel is 5 minutes walk from Number 6 bus into the Old Town.
No tea or coffee facility making facilities in bedroom.
Convenient mid range well run hotel with usual facilities. Meals (we had breakfast and evening dinner several times) were quite ok, buffet but plenty to choose from. Easy access to the old city by bus every 10 minutes. Front desk staff very helpful.
No fridge in room. International TV channels not viewable.
Easy parking, quick and inexpensive cab ride to old town, It was nice not negotiating stairs with luggage. Bath was good and hotel was quiet.
Bus tours stay there, so breakfast in the morning can be a hassle, as well as elevator service. Bar service is only fare and dinner service just barely passable. We did not eat there but observed the dinner buffet.
Hotel was clean. Room was big. Staff were friendly & knowledgeable. Decent location. Breakfast was good.
A pool would have been nice. A double bed was 2 singles pushed together, however the beds had high wooden edges that ever when pushed together had a wooden barrier between them, very disappointing. Evening buffet was disappointing, very basic and seemed to cater for fussy eaters only!
3km walk to the old town or 100m walk + bus drive (not much faster than walking all the way :-) Good breakfast buffet. Very clean room with large balcony.
Wifi did not work in room, only on ground floor. Coffee at breakfast was not good, no possibility to make a cup of tea or coffee in the room. No insulation against noise in the corridor.
Lovely big room, friendly staff in dining room and good value for money evening meal and breakfast.
Receptionist was a bit dour
Staff was friendly Room was clean WiFi worked okay for most of trip Excellent location near water and beaches
No faceclothes Heavy rain caused brown water for most of trip, not really in control of hotel as same occurred in other hotels in town
Central between harbour and old town, once we worked out where it was on the map. Close to bus stops. Map scale better than it looked at first. Good ish choice of breakfast items.
Bar closed at 10.00pm, too early when you have been out all day, can't even buy a coffee. No bars really close by. Not supposed to take your own drinks into hotel - even soft drinks. But we took small bottles of water - a good job when we realised what time the bar closed.
huge and comfortable rooms - rich and tasteful breakfast buffet - clean rooms with balcony - parking lot and basement garage at the hotel
Good breakfasts in a nice setting.
No little touches like toiletries which are usually provided in a place of this price and standard. Have booked again on a special deal but would not stay again at full price.
- Although requested there was no wifi and no double room. When we complained the personnel replayed that two single beds next to each other mean a double bed and the box for wi fi was in the corridor and that there was nothing they could do.
Lovely staff, large room, over all happy with our stay:)
Location a bit out of the way
Spacious room and bathroom and a balcony with a view over the hills. Underground parking with a lift to take up your luggage. Staff helpful and friendly.
A little far from the centre. We took the bus (good service) as it was too hot to walk. The quality of the food in the restaurant. After the first night, we ate out. For a three star hotel, I think it could be improved.
Just free wifi
Others except free wifi
Free parking and walking distance to the old town (25 min).
The ladies working at the restaurant weren't very kind, or their english was just very poor and direct "sit there" "water pay". The matresses weren't comfortable and the wi-fi sometimes didn't work properly.
Underground parking (free!) is a huge bonus ! Staff all very helpful.
Location is not quite as close to the old town as we had expected, but the bus stop is close by and frequent
Stayed all across Croatia and this was the last hotel, so I'd insisted on something a little better than the standard backpacker fare. Got exactly that. Perfectly pleasant, nothing amazing, but also everything far from bad.
The buffet breakfast had a lot of variety.
The concierge was quite rude and abrupt. The room is extremely bare. No fridge or coffee making facilities. The TV was noisy and the plug in the wash basin did not work. There also is a full A4 sheet of rules and regulations. I feel €140 for one night was way over priced for what I got.
Good location, near beach and restaurants. Easy access to old town by bus. Good breakfast.
Big sized room with a big tereace, very comfortable, good selection for breakfast, free private garage and wifi.
