The location is perfect for Upper Town and Lower Town experience. The parking is included in accomodations in a locked/secure space with a key provided. The bar and lobby is very relaxing and comfortable. The rooms are clean. The breakfast was European only. They do not provide lunch or dinner.

The staff could not be more accommodating, the price is very good, and the location could not be better. Walking distance to everything a tourist wants to see, the tram runs along the main street in front of the hotel, and a quick and easy trip to the bus station and airport for quick and convenient travel. I have spent the last 11 months traveling Europe and the Caribbean and have not had a more comfortable hotel........and have booked to stay at the Jagerhorn again in early June.

Great courtyard... That is the most special hing about this hotel. We choosed this hotel after seeing its picture on web but actually it is a great place... Birds singing, great trees.... That terrace could be used more efficiently... The owners of the hotel should change this hotel from 3 stars to a boutique one.. It is a boutique otel.. But that courtyard is great... Parking place is easy to find if you receive an e-mail from hotel, first park then walk to the hotel :) That is the negative side but at least it is free... There is a great young man on the reception desk... Very helpful... But dont expect service in this hotel apart from breakfast...Can stay there again definetely.. Better for those who come with tram or taxi :) Need a service in terrace... Wish had a beer there :) even coffee....

Nice place; modern, clean, quiet room, awesome staff and reception. Great location and wifi. Hard to find as it is up an alley/courtyard, but great location in the end. Breakfast was fair by European standards.

Great central location. Free wifi and breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. A little overpriced for what it offers. Especially considering average prices in Zagreb .

The location is excellent and within walking distance of all the main city sights. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and efficient. My "single room" was by no means the smallest I have ever stayed in and yet I found the utilisation of space in the room was so poor that it actually felt much smaller than it was and ended up looking and feeling cluttered. Typical of this was the wardrobe, which stretched across probably two metres of space and yet was too shallow to fit many clothes in. My clothes ended up bunched up and creased. I was there for six days, which I understand is much longer than most people spend in Zagreb, so I presume the rooms are not geared up for people with a lot of luggage. But for me it was not the most comfortable of stays. I also was not enamoured with the guesthouse style of operation of the hotel, whereby you had to push the bell and be let into the hotel even during the day time - though I would stress that you never had to wait to be let in as there was always someone on the reception desk.

A perfect location to explore Zagreb. Situated between the Upper and Lower old Town. Within a very short distance of virtually all museums, galleries, as well as main veg, meat and fish markets. A 5 minute taxi drive to the main bus station and 15 minute walk to the train station. We would stay there again the next time we go to Zagreb.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean, the bed was large and comfortable, the breakfast was tasty, and the location is great. Just a small observation - you could consider a new color and new paint for the hallways - the yellow is a bit drab and doesn't give the best "first impression."

I stayed in the hotel for two nights in April 2012. The hotel is in an excellent location, fantastic value for money and comes with an excellent breakfast ( hot and cold Choices which change each day with plenty of variety). The number one plus though was the service - the receptionist helped me to locate abd book a haircut, recommended some great restaurants an generally could not do enough to help. I would strongly recommend this hotel if you plan to visit Zagreb.

Fantastic location, lovely building, rooms and furnishings, friendly helpful staff, and sits just below a fabulous restaurant and one of the few green areas (good for dogs!). We loved it and hope to return.

If I am correct the hotel is the oldest hotel of Zagreb. The hotel is clean and the people are friendly but for me it was not what I expected as I was looking more for a business hotel. The hotel did not have an elevator, the parking is 5 minutes walking and you cannot get to the hotel with your car as the street is a walking street. Also the hotel is hard to find as it is located in a old shopping mall. Personally I would advice this hotel to tourists who want to be in the centre of the city without having to pay a high cost.

Excellent 'budget' hotel, even though we thought it was above budget. Great location, near to plenty of bars and cafe's and also tram stops and main square. The rooms were spacious enough and clean including the bathrooms. The staff were expectationally helpful and friendly. There was a large group of us together but arriving at different times and they were aware of this and very accommodating. Would recommend to anyone for the price that they charge.

I wasn't a solo traveller, I was with my Mother who is 74. We were visiting Zagreb for the first time. My Mum has trouble walking far, so I e-mailed the hotel twice before our trip asking advice/info about certain things and received quick, pleasant and very helpful replies. During our whole stay the staff were absolutely lovely! Friendly, helpful and all spoke excellent English! The hotel is right near the main central square and yet is peaceful and quite as it is up off the main road. Our room was lovely & the heating was easy to control. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there, it suited us perfectly and we would definitely go there again!!
