The location is perfect for Upper Town and Lower Town experience. The parking is included in accomodations in a locked/secure space with a key provided. The bar and lobby is very relaxing and comfortable. The rooms are clean. The breakfast was European only. They do not provide lunch or dinner.

The staff could not be more accommodating, the price is very good, and the location could not be better. Walking distance to everything a tourist wants to see, the tram runs along the main street in front of the hotel, and a quick and easy trip to the bus station and airport for quick and convenient travel. I have spent the last 11 months traveling Europe and the Caribbean and have not had a more comfortable hotel........and have booked to stay at the Jagerhorn again in early June.

Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. I left there in the early morning, but they prepared breakfast for me earlier than usual. The place is very central. If I went to Zagreb, I would stay there again.

The hotel was exceptionally clean ,tidy and well organised, The staff was way above average as regards helpfulness and politeness. The location was ideal being right in the centre of the the city activities. I would certainly recommend it to anyone wishing to spend a short stay in Zagreb.

Nice location in the centre, polite staff. Strange odour in the bathroom, old windows , therefore pretty noisy.

The service of the staff was excellent. They carried our luggage from the car to our room. We got a good explenation of the city and its restaurants. Free Wireless Internet worked well in the room. The breakfast was very basic without fruits and vegetables.

Superb location; friendly staff; excellent accommodation. Breakfast was probably the weakest aspect of the break (orange squash rather than juice and cooked fare not very hot) although the coffee was superb. This would not, however, put us off returning.

This is the second time in 4 months I've stayed at Jagerhorn, despite it being out of my usual price range, just because it's so comfortable and in a perfect location. My girlfriend described it as "like being at home", thanks to the very comfortable room. The staff kindly let me take breakfast back to bed, so my sleepy girlfriend didn't have to get up, and also kindly let her into the room to nap as my flight was delayed (they recognized her from last time). Brilliant service and very comfortable. Slept better than at home, wish I could have stayed longer. Only really small things; hairdryer would be useful, would be cool if the key could open the lower entrance to avoid disturbing the overnight staff/the buzzing noise in the corridor.

Very nice and helpful staff. Very convenient location (in the very city center, but not facing the noisy street). Comfortable and nicely decorated rooms. I'd definitely appreciate a hairdryer. And there was no minibar (although it is mentioned at booking.com). And I had only one small bathshower&shampoo for 4 nights (I had my own, but some people may need more:)) The breakfast can seem somewhat poor for a man with good appetite. But for a couple of days that's definitely fine.

The staff were extremely friendly and caring. They helped us overcome some difficulties we had with our travel arrangements and ensured that our time in Zagreb was well spent. We arrived quite late at night by taxi and found it a little difficult to find the entrance to the hotel. Some instructions to guests on locating the door and buzzer would be helpful.

For seeing Zargreb it was in the perfect location. The staff were helpful when asked. Breakfast was sufficient if nothing to write home about. It was very quite no problem sleeping. Rooms were clean and functional. Shower water presure was excellent. The Front doors were closed at 10pm so one had to ring to get in. It lacked atmosphere. The information seemed to imply it had a restraunt but it didn't.

Great location in the middle of Zagreb. Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel's outdoor cafe is in a quiet, leafy setting that belies its urban location. Good breakfast included in hotel price. Hotel is set in a pedestrian zone and is difficult to find if arriving by car (they do have off site parking available once you finally are able to gt to hotel.) Our room was quite small, although reasonably comfortable. No air conditioning.

For touring Zagreb, you cannot find a better location than Hotel Jagerhorn. It is right downtown, near all of the central sights, restaurants, shopping and city transportation. I like the small size of the hotel. It is friendly, comfortable, and offers a great breakfast in a cozy setting. The staff is absolutely responsive to the guests' needs. I would stay in this hotel again should I revisit Zagreb. Because the hotel is right in the center of the city, it can be a bit noisy, not from traffic but from merrymaking at night. There is a restaurant up behind the hotel that hosted a late evening of loud music and I just saw this as part of the ambience, as were the ever-present church bells. Someone who requires absolute quiet at night might want to choose a different location for a hotel.

The hotel (formerly called Pension Jagerhorn) is very well located. For tourists it is literally steps to to funicular to the upper (old) section of the City. For everyone, the hotel is in the center of the commercial area and across the street from a major pedestrian zone. Because the hotel is set back from the street (entrance is 30 meters +/- down a passageway with shops), our room was very quiet despite the busy location. Staff was uniformly helpful and spoke excellent English. Our room was quite tight as was the bath and there is no elevator so luggage must carried. The street in nearest the hotelis closed to cars except taxis and trolleys so if driving to Zagreb, you will need to park a distance away.

The hotel is very centrally but peacefully located, just off the main shopping street and at the foot of steps to the upper town. The staff were helpful, friendly and attentive, sorting out any little problems we had, Buffet breakfast was served in a very pretty garden room or terraced garden. A perfect place to explore lvely Zagreb. Some noisy neighbours in the room opposite us were quickly dealt with by the management. Thank you.

I liked the character of the room, which overlooked the courtyard. The courtyard itself was very attractive, filled with flowers, and the fountain, and we had breakfast there each day and evening drinks. Its great to be able to go up the steps and find the tower and museums so close by. I felt that, for the cost of the room and its rating, the facilities were rather sparse. No hairdryer and one tiny sachet of shower gel. I had to borrow a pen from Reception. However, the bed was really comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

Excellent hotel for city tour , located in main street , just few meters from one of tourism attraction - stackline to old town . Nice and clean rooms , good relation between price and service, however breakfast is definitely point for improvement. Hotel is located inside closed pedestrian area ( no such information in hotel description) plus one way road philosophy at Zagreb makes me big trouble to reach the hotel. Parking place is located far away from hotel and access is not so easy, you need support from hotel’s staff.

Location, location, location!! It was right in the centre of everything without being noisy. In fact, it was tucked off a main street (Ilica), but was very quiet. You could see all the sights within a very easy walking distance from this hotel, both the Upper Town and the Lower Town. It was just a stone's throw from Zagreb's main square -- Trg Ban Jelacic. I thought the staff was also very friendly and nice. Before we got there, they sent a welcome letter with very detailed instructions on where to park. Using these instructions in combination with Google maps (and street view), we found it without a problem. The room was also made up exactly to our requested specifications, which was nice for us on arrival with 2 small children. Because we had 2 small children, it would have been nice if there had been a kettle (to warm bottles) and a fridge (for milk). We were only there for 1 night so made do. The hotel cost more than we'd been paying for apartment rentals in the country, so value for money didn't seem as good as it could be. Also, their restaurant (listed in my guidebook) closed 4 years ago, though they still serve breakfast (at an additional cost).

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The rooms were clean and well provisioned and the hotel was in a great location in the centre of town, and a two minute walk from a tram stop. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The all spoke English and were able to give us some great tips for visiting Zagreb. I definitely plan to return.

The location makes it easy to explore Zagreb. All of the employees I encountered were very nice and helpful. The room was very large and comfortable with reliable WiFi. It was nice secure parking was included, but note it is about a five minute walk from the hotel.

The most positive point was the price. The people who worked there were friendly. No fridge in the room, very small rooms under the roof, beds uncomfortable, parking was very far away from the hotel, the code we received from your services to open the parking gate, was not longer valid.
