Perfect hotel, surprised us a lot! We chose it just because it was the nearest to the airport, We've found a very friendly staff there! Who always ready to help you! I think that was the best staff ever i saw! Hotel is really near the airport! Just 5-7 minuts by car! Transfer u can take in a hotel costs arounf 100 kn= 14 eu. And u can see the airport even from ur window. Hotel is in a quite place, around just mountains and some building, so even for 2-3 relaxing days is possible to spend there! They have a restaurant with a perfect food and drinks! Absolutly recomend this hotel to everybody!

This is a wonderful hotel.Ana and the rest of the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful.You feel very welcome right from the pickup at the airport.The hotel is small,and spotlessly clean The junior suite has a very spacious lounge.The swimming pool has views across mountains and down to the Adriatic Sea with great sunsetsThere is an outdoor and an indoor restaurant,and the food is exquisite.It is of Michelin standard,with plenty of choice and novelty.Don't forget to try the house Posip white wine.We would certainly want to stay here again.

The staff at Hotel Major made my last night in Croatia one that I will never forget! From the night I made the booking the staff showed me what they were all about by emailing to see if I needed any special accommodations and to tell me they were there to help if we had any requests. From there, they did not disappoint. They went out of their way to pick my mom and I up from Cavtat free of charge, they stored our bags while we traveled Dubrovnik and then put them in our room once it was ready, and they told the restaurant we would be down soon so that they were expecting us. The waitstaff was knowledgeable and courteous and the food was much better than I had ever had from a hotel restaurant. The front desk staff even waived at us from across the restaurant as they enjoyed their dinner with friends. Then, the morning we had to catch our very early flight we were greeted by a smile and a cup of coffee, not to mention the packed lunch which came in quite handy while I was starving at the airport. All in all, this was the best hotel experience my mom or I has ever had!

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and it was so quiet, especially given its proximity to the airport, which is why we chose this hotel. The food at the restaurant was amazing.

I picked it for a one night stay at the start of a tour because of its location close to the airport. It is a family hotel and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent. Transfers to the airport and to Cavtat are readily available.

They have a small pool which is adequate for a brief stay but facilities around the pool are very limited - E.G.very small number of sunbeds.

This was a wonderful experience for us. I chose the hotel as it was close to the airport, but if we come to Croatia again, we would definatley stay here. The people who work there are very welcoming and helpful, the rooms are excellent and the food superb. We would come back just for the food ! From the terrace outside, you can have your meal and watch the aircraft come in and land across the valley. It is in the countryside with lovely flowers and birds, especially the swallows that zoom by to take an insect/drink from the swimming pool. We loved it here!

Hotel staff were all very pleasant and could not be more helpful to us,the free transfer bus to and from local areas was a tremendous bonus.The food was superb and always served up with such warmth from the chef through to all the staff.Overall a perfect hotel break.Views were also magnificent looking out over the Kanavle Valley from our terrrace Many thanks to Anya and all her staff.

Excellent hotel with a very personal touch. The impressive dinner menu came as a nice surprise. We enjoyed our stay very much!

This is the perfect place to stay if you arrive into DBV late, or depart on an early flight. JoJo the van driver was on time, pleasant, spoke perfect English & was at our disposal! Jojo shuttled us to the sleepy waterfront village of Catvat, five minutes away, and picked us up a few hours later.(In lovely Catvat, we shopped, strolled, ate & went for a swim at one of the numerous small coves... ) Ana and her staff welcomed us warmly when we pulled up, they are the most pleasant and helpful I have ever encountered. All spoke English beautifully. Our rooms were spacious, comfortable & spotless. Warning- there is no elevator like most small hotels in Europe, but there is plenty of help to carry bags upstairs. And you must eat here! breakfast is included, and dinner is a 5 star experience not to be missed! The owners have a winery, and we had the best bottle of wine I think I have ever tasted. Everything was amazing!

Some may not like the isolation, but there are benefits to the location of Hotel major being in the quiet countryside. The shuttle van makes it easy to go to the beach in Catvat and airport... both a few minutes drive. The airport transfer was 14 euro one-way, and the Catvat transfer was complimentary.

La gentillesse du personnel et les divers services qu'ils ont offerts. Facilité pour les réservations de tour, service de transport vers Cavtat gratuit pour le tour à Mostar, bonne table , chambre appartement propre et grand.

Piscine en mauvais état, vue lointaine sur la mer perturbée par une vue plongeante sur les pistes de l'aeroport, salon de la suite junior = piece noire sans fenetre les photos presentant l'hotel étaient trompeuses

El personal es muy amable y siempre dispuesto a conseguir que tu estancia en su hotel sea muy agradable. Te tratan de manera excelente.

Podría ser la ubicaciçon ya que está a las afueras del pueblo de cavtat pero no es mayor problema dado que el servicio del hotel facilita transportes al pueblo y aeorpuerto por un precio testimonial.
