Location close to the border giving possibility to make short trips to Slovenia and Italy. I would not recomand for people who wants a quit place because the beach bar/ disco is really a nightmare - a lot of noise until 3 a.m. impossible to sleep . Not too many options in the resort .

Wonderful location, bungalow in a pine forest, close to the beach. 10-15 minute drive to Umag, several good restaurants around. Bungalow quite old and run down, large assortment of insects in the bungalow. Everything very basic, but it is cheap too, soo good value for the money.

Pine forest, proximity to the sea. Bugs in the room. The whole place has an air of something that was luxurious and fancy some 15-20 years ago, but is not anymore.

I liked that the resort was centrally located for easy travels into Slovenia, Italy and further into Croatia. It's right up against the Adriatic Sea and the city of Umag is 6km for dinner and groceries. View is spectacular and hiking and bike riding is easy. I would recommend bringing everything you need including soap for dishes and toilet paper. The apt have nothing extra. We traveled with our dogs and also our small children. We had a fantastic time. Swimming at 7am was warm. I would not recommend doing any weekends try and book Sun till Thursdays. I would also ask never to be placed next to the bar dance club or the young single parties houses. I would recommend to bring a fan in the summer and also earplugs. They party until sometimes all night and early in the morning.

We were there for a tennis tournament and seaside vacation and the combination of the two worked well at the Kanegra resort. The ever-present feeling that everything concerned money and that the employees were irritated by having the tourists/visitors present. That was a theme that many people I spoke with mentioned.

We are family of 2 children (3 year & 16 months) and we were very happy there. Children had enough place to run. There are a lot of trees, so not so hot like you can imagine in croatia in august. Not good for very litle children, because of difficul access to bungalow (steps). Romantic place. Children liked also the pets of other people... We didnt take the halfbord, we have eaten in restaurant Lama - very good food, not so expensive and very good service. I like to return!

The whole was not very clean. The sink was disgusting, the water did not flow properly. Food and coffee at the restaurant was of very very poor quality. I stayed there for 5 days and not once was it cleaned or towels were changed. The bed was very hard, no way to sleep at all. In fact it was not a real matress. The pillow cases were very old and had a lot of holes. I did not cook at all so cannot say much about the kitchen but I could notice that it was all very old and the refrigerator was very noisy, making it even more difficult to sleep. After my first visit to the restaurant , I was forced to go to city each evening to have some proper foodl . It is about 16 km away. Windows broken and did not close properly. I do not recommend this hotel . no I will not qualify this as a hotel at all. It is just a roof over your head. Very awful the whole thing, I wonder why this is offered on booking. com . Did not like anything about Kanegra resort. The beach was very small and crowded and one cannot walk barefoot at all. You need shoes to be able to go into the water

good location, nice beach for the children, you have there everything you need: a small market, a kiosk for bread, fruit and vegetables, restaurants, pizzeria... Bungalows are simple, but OK. During the day some sports activities, in the evening some animation. Most of the guests are families with children. For a peaceful vacation.

Nice calm place, quite far from hectic tourist centers. Car is necessary if you want to vistit surounding. Bigger centers like Umag, Poreč, Rovinj, Portoroz, Piran about 1/2 hour far, drive by car. Very kind and helpful personal. Nice beach. We were there only 3 days, but there wasn´t problem with shorter stay. Thanx Some basic things missing. Dish washer liquid, basic food (sugar salt, etc...). Internet in reception wasn´t free. I had to pay 3,50 € for a 1/2 hour. (it doesn´t belong to 21 century)

Everything was nice and close and the environment is lovely. Great little place to swim right down the bottom away from the stone beaches. Bungalow was nice but it should have some basic things like for washing the dishes... Salt and pepper maybe but other than that it was great.
