Great historic and central location. Friendly staff, clean rooms, can't beat the location.

Stylishly renovated modern accommodation in old building in Old Town,

Location. Good atmosphere. Near the livelier parts but far away enough to not be disturbed late on.

If you have a disability the steps and narrower parts would be difficult. But otherwise fine.

Very clean and central location. Close to bus and ferry terminals.

Hotel was a little hard to find. Need better directions to find hotel.

The location was perfect for our short time in Split. It is located within the walls of the Diocletian's palace and not too far from the paid parking lot. The nice evening clerk suggested we parked by the bus/train terminal for cheaper rates and not much further away. We booked the third floor 2 bedroom suite and it was perfect for our group of three. It had a small kitchen which we didn't use and plenty of hot water for 3 showers. Best of all was the view. Both rooms had a splendid view of the promenade by the sea. The biggest challenge was to find the entrance but we used the gps coordinates and it took us right where

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location couldn't have been better, right in the centre of the old town. The price was excellent and the room was spacious. I would definately stay again.

Beautiful sea view! Nice to be "in the palace" and at the heart of things.

It was a bit loud with the revelers in the evening/night and street sweepers early in the morning, but we heard more because we wanted to have the windows open. With the windows shut the noise was nearly blocked out - but no fresh air.

The central location of this accommodation in Split was excellent, and the welcome and assistance of the staff made our stay very enjoyable and stress free. We were impressed with the small but well laid out room, the amazing view, double glazing, shutters, airconditioning, WIFI access and quality breakfast. We would stay at B&B Villa Kastel in Split on future holidays, and happily recommend it to other travellers.

I would recommend traveling 'light' without large bulky suitcases, as like many small hotels in Europe there is no lift facilities at B&B Villa Kastel in Split.

Location, being central was our biggest need.
