La Porta Luxury Rooms  

We loved the design of the room itself, the bathroom and the view from the window. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even though we arrived at 10.30 P.M. They were outside looking for us. The breakfasts at the nearbye hotel were excellent and the staff there friendly. The location could not have been better.

There were 78 stairs up to the floor with the rooms. Although we knew they were on the 3rd floor of a building, we had not bargained for that! Fortunately my husband is a sprightly 70. The stairs would have been more of a problem had we visited in a summer heat wave.

We stayed for 3 nights and the staff were very friendly and very accommodating. The place could not have been in a better location!

Location is excellent. Just across a cobbled street to the Palace and 1 minute walk to the harbour/front in Split. Rooms are finished to a very high standard. Staff are extremely helpful, giving good advise as to what to see and do and even picking us up from the airport and allowing us to store luggage once we had checked out. Very much enjoyed our stay and everything the city has to offer. Will be recommending to friends. It is a bit of a climb as it is on the 3rd floor of a building but was not an issue for us and they have someone to take your luggage up to your room and down again when you leave.

Welcome friendly and informative; maps and information about local restaurants provided. Porter provided on arrival and departure: very useful, given the number of steps.

Room a little cramped, due to raised floor areas and size of bed relative to total floor space.

This was an absolutely wonderful place to stay. It was a short 3 minute walk from the main train station and the seaport. The hotel itself was a delight as was the owner. The included breakfast was at a delightful cafe about 30 meters from the from door of the hotel with a wonderful staff and an excellecent selection on the breakfast menu. Not only would I reccomend this hotel to friends but, have every intention of returning in the near future.

Best location in Split, friendly and helpful welcome. Quality fittings and furniture, very clean and well looked after. Sanja helped with transport arrangements etc.

Our room was small, the bigger ones were booked out.

I was very delighted by the room interior and closeness to the old city. View and surrounding old buildings were enchanting. Breakfast was a real treat and definite plus. I would recommended it highly, especially if you are coming after long transcontinental flight and need few days to wind-down prior to hoping to next destination. Wonderful and relaxing.

Luxury Room = eng, das Bett nimmt den gesamten Platz des Zimmers ein. Man weis nicht, wohin mit den Sachen Keine Aussicht, laut, man kann trotz der Hitze im Zimmer die Fenster nicht öffnen, da zu laut

Aluksi hämmensi sisäänkäynti,joka tuntui epäilyttävältä.Mutta se osoittautui täysin turhaksi.Meillä ei mitään valittamista.Palaisimme tähän mielellämme uudelleen.

Excellente situation, à l'entrée de la vielle ville. Charmant accueil. Très jolie vue sur la vieille ville, le marché et le port (pour les chambres coté sud). Belle chambre, lit confortable. Belle salle d'eau. Petit déjeuner copieux.

Attention : 79 marches d'escalier... Odeurs d'égout dans la salle d'eau (plus ou moins fortes selon les heures) Le parking est situé loin de l'hôtel (mais on vient vous chercher le jour de votre arrivée)

Das Personal war überdurchschnittlich nett. Die Lage perfekt, wenn man mitten in Split übernachten möchte. Kurze Wege zu allen Shops und Restaurants. Das Zimmer war auf neustem Stand und elegant und schlicht eingerichtet. Ich würde immer wieder buchen.
