Near the city, quiet sleep night
Lack oc parking place, Room full of dust, pillows dirty, beds dirty. Air refresheners are used to cover other smells. Rooms are not nice like on pictures!
Hosts were very nice and helpfull. Toilet was clean. Wi-Fi is good.
Even hosts were very nice and helpfull,I must say everything else is not that good.Room was dirty, full of dust and I found dead bug inside. Sheets were dirty and not ironed, room is small and you have to get out off you room, to get into your toilet. That's not comfortable or pleasent if you're going to take a shower. You can hear every string of the bed if you just turn around. Must say, I also do this buissnes and for less money we give much more!! They have potential and they should and could do better!
Over Priced for service delivered
Close to main bus station
No hot water in shower. Heating had not been turned on despite it getting quite cool at night.
The owners are very friendly people. They helped me with everything I asked them.
Bathroom is not part of the room. No shutters on the windows.
The staff were very very helpful, not only giving us maps and directions everywhere we needed to go, they also got our room ready for us at 8 am as we had arrived in to Zagreb at 4.00am. The room was a good size and our private bathroom was huge! About a 25 minute walk in to town or there is a tram to the main square a few minutes walk away. There is also a bar downstairs with reasonably priced drinks and you get free breakfast, great!
One of my shoes went under the bed and when I looked under to retrieve it, well...I just wish I hadn't! Underneath our bed was absolutely horrible! A huge amount of dust and rubbish old bottles and bits of tissue! Really not nice! The rest of the room however was clean apart from a stain on one of the pillows. There was alot of noise in the room next door to us which was one of the dormitory's, but no one asks guests to keep the noise down so that was a little annoying when trying to sleep on a couple of the nights we were there.
It does not look like in pictures. Rooms are dark. We've got room with view on bar facilities. No bathroom in the room, you must go there throw the hall. Room service use tons of air fresheners to cover smell of mouldy dump. No parking, you can park only on a narrow street if you find enough space. I can recomend it only to backpackers but it is not worth more than 20 euro per double room.
Location, it isnt in the city centre (where many hostels are near noisi streets) but with tram you are there in 10 min.
I think there was only one power box.
The hostes was very nice and helpful. A breakfast was included in the price, which is a bonus.
The bathroom was pretty small, and there was no way you could take a shower without soaking the whole floor of the bathroom. The bedroom had some unpleasant specific smell wich was pretty unpleasant.
Marko and Ilona, the hosts know exactly how to make you welcome and comfortable. :-) They are excellent hosts. Marko welcomed us with barbecue when we arrived and we could already start talking to other guests. We normally prefer to be on our own on holidays but now even if we were very tired we joined the others after packing out and had some drinks with them. The barbecue place next to the house is very nice! You can see the hosts put their heart into this apartment. We had our own bathroom with our own key, but it was not in the room but opposite the room, in the corridor. But you can live with this, especially considering that this is not an expensive place. Surprisingly, we had free breakfast in the morning and my husband was very fond of the coffee - you often get bad coffee in hostels, but this one was good quality. We liked the design of the walls: in the room and in the bathroom, there were nice stickers on the wall (you can see them in the pictures) and on the walls of the corridor, there were artistic paintings. I would not recommend this place for older people who need luxury and would like to have a longer stay. But for younger people, backpackers and for one-or two-night stays it is perfect! :-)
The barbecue / breakfast place was under our window, so at night and in the morning it can be a bit noisy.
Very Great, Familiar, Helpfull, Kindly staff. Nice and colorfull corridors! Great location, close to the main stations (bus, train).
The bed was a bit noisy, but dont have to jumpin on it :)
Friendly staff, very clean and close to public transport and many other facilities.
No aircon, or fan, no kitchen facilities for guests.
Comfy, slept like a baby!
We had to leave early next morning so it's really cool that bus station is so close.
Location definately, main bus station is really close, and city center is not that far either. Price was well within our budget
Had so much fun with owners and other people staying there. Super ste!
Fantastich! Peacefull, staff really helpful, close to everything
Nice and close to the main bus station. Nice owners good wifi
proximity to bus terminal (where airport buses go), friendly staff
Nice place, friendly people, really nice and clean rooms, free internet, quite during the night
The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The place is clean and well-located, I absolutely recommend it.
Very nice and helpful personal!
Staff was very approachable and went out of their way to help me find all locations I was interested in. Beautiful, relaxing yard!
A cozy family run guesthouse, extremely nice and friendly owners (speaks also perfect German and English). The location is perfect in particular if you arrive by bus or by train, just a few minutes walk from the main bus/train terminal. If you are to tired walking, two/four stops by tramway will also take you there. One additional plus, the hostel is in a quiet side street and yet close to shops and coffee shops. Not far either to the city center. The rooms must have recently been renovated as all furniture look completely new. Also worth mentioning, an accessible kitchen, free breakfast, free welcome drink and – not to forget - free and good WIFI connection. And if you like a really good BBQ, this is the place to be; the owner himself makes the best chichi I ever had.
