Zimmer sehr gut außer Matratze.Diese ist zu weich.

Frühstück mangelhaft.Kein Brot vorhanden.Nur Milchhörnchen.Keine Wurst.Nur eine Sorte Käse und eine Scheibe Kochschinken.Habe am zweiten und dritten Tag auf das Frühstück verzichtet.

Sehr guter Service , für den Preis ein super Hotel , komme wieder.

Sehr schönes Haus mit besonderem Flair. Zimmer sehr sauber, rustikal eingerichtet und mit netten Details ausgestattet. Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Frühstückbuffet ist reichhaltig und das Personal ist bemüht die Essenswünsche der Gäste zu erfüllen. Preisleistungsverhältnis: optimal! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Everything. I was feeling like in home. Staff was the most friendly people I ever met in hole Europe. They called me at night to know if I was ok. Best place to stay in Osijek, which is very nice city. They also helped me to reaserch for few relatives that we lost contact because the war. Fantastic people, fantastic place. Thank you all from Maksimilian Hotel.

Location was fantastic. Hotel is in the old cobblestone Tvrda district, which is very picturesque and sits right on the Drava River. Out the back gate of Tvrda is the river with a lovely and easy walkway into the center of Osijek, which is also very interesting. The room was very large and comfortable. Bathroom was good, with a large shower. Staff was very nice. Wireless internet in the room. Lots of cable TV stations in a variety of languages. Convenient street parking.

Only minor inconvenience was that the room only had one electrical outlet which was already loaded with TV and refrigerator, and the one outlet is not close to the desk for computer access. Had to unplug TV to recharge computer, phone, and camera.

Everything was excellent... I really be back in this hotel.. best regards

Lovely place, Service... - everything was perfect. Friendly and attentive staff made me feel quite welcome from the moment I arrived. I especially want to thank Mrs. Milka for taking care of my breakfast:) My compliments -it was a very nice experience and I would definitely highly recommend this accomodation.

The simpaty

The location of the Hotel is really fantastic. (It is in the middle of the old town-Tvrda district) There is the main square of Tvrda next to it, with entirely renovated historical buildings, with really enjoyable pubs, coffee bars and of course the river Drava could be find in the near. Maksimilian is also completely renewed! If you want to feel something from the historical viewpoint of the things, come here. It's not so boring as the standard hotels are. The staff and the atmosphere is familiar in the good meaning of these words. I recommend it, and I will come back if I have the chance.

The trade-sign 'Maksimilian' is a bit small to see from afar. :)

The hotel is located in the old town. Public transportation like tram within walking distance. The staff was very friendly and helpful to our needs. They even turned on the air-conditioned for us before we check in. I like the cozy atmosphere, you feel like you are staying in a Croatian family home. It's not a fancy or modern hotel and yet it make you feel very welcome. You can help yourself with coffee and tea in the open kicthen anytime. We had a wonderful dinner nearby recommended by the staff to experience Croatian speciality. Lots of bars and resturants within reach. The room is clean, the breakfast is good. We had to go to the airport early and the staff got up early to prepare the breakfast for us.

That is my second time I stay there. I like it from the first time, the whole ambient is totally different. There are many historical things in room, with books, which give special effect. The Guesthouse is also in historical part of Osijek, called "Old Tvrđa".In toilet each guess can find necessary things: small toothbrush with paste, sewing supplies etc. In offer is also small mini bar, air-condition, free wireless...Staff is very friendly and helpful. I am delighted with the ratio of price and service. I'm recommending :)

The owners and hostes were fantastic. They could not have been any more helpful. Beautiful building restored in the older part of town and close to the lively square. Surrounded by history, I could not fault this place and will be certain of a return trip.

This guesthouse is excellent. The owners of Maksimilian are very welcoming and the facilities are charming and in perfect condition.
