Guesthouse Maksimilian  

Très bien placé dans la magnifique vieille ville, cette "guest house" ne présente que des avantages : la chambre est grande, ainsi que la salle de douche très bien décorée. Le tout est très propre. Le petit déjeuner est suffisant. Connexion wifi sans problème. Les rues de la vieille ville sont assez larges pour y circuler sans encombre et se garer facilement. Le personnel donne de bons conseils quant au choix de restaurants. En résumé, un endroit où il fait bon s’arrêter et ou le rapport qualité / prix est exceptionnel.

One of the best hotels I used. Very kind staff, very nice historic location (inside old fortification), very nice rooms.

Maksimilian made me feal at home, both by friendliness and professionalism of its staff and by the whole setup of the guesthouse. It has lovely common areas, with 24/7 availability of tea/coffee making facilities.

Lovely place, nice clean room, good service and good location for reasonable price. Helpful and friendly staff made me feel really welcome from the moment I arrived. I must especially thank Mrs.Milka for taking care of my breakfast:) My compliments - everything was perfect. Would definitely recommend this accomodation to my friends.

Excellent location in old part of town, 15 minutes walk into City centre along river.

I spent 3 nights at Maksimilian w/ my sister. We were greated at the entrance by the owner & impressed by every step we took inside the guesthouse. The renovations were extremely well done, the atmosphere & staff are welcoming & pleasant. You can walk to the city center & enjoy local restaurants & pubs near by that are recommended by the owner or just go off & discover on your own. We were hoping to discover some information about our family who had lived in a near by village. The owner & staff went above & beyone all expectations. They looked up everyone in the village with our surname, made phone calls to every family & set up a meeting with one family who wanted to help. We din't find any family yet but because of the great help staff were we now have email contacts of several families with our surname & will continue our search from home with their help. I plan to return in 2-3 years with more information & will with out a doubt stay at the Maksimilian while on that trip. I want to thank the owner & staff for all their help & for making us feel so welcome in this beautiful setting. We have found the name of the town our grandparnets were born in & will continue to find more because of your help. Thanks so much!

I loved the attention to small details that the staff accommodated us with. Coffee was available at all hours, eggs were cooked to order with breakfast, the staff was helpful in recommending places to go to. I would stay there again.

The only problem was that the desk where you could have a computer had no outlet. I had to either bring a long extension cord, or hook up my computer by the tv outlet. That was my only problem, but it is a small one!

The young woman looking after the hotel was excellent. She was extremely helpful and made great eggs for breakfast. The location suited us as we were in transit.

Great guesthouse in the middle of the old city, friendly staff, nice breakfast, big rooms.

Overall an excellent experience! Old building gives a special atmosphere and the people running the establishment is very friendly and helpful. Located right in the middle of the old town within walking distance to everything including good restaurants and pubs! All of the above comes at a really good price. Will recommend it over and over !

To już druga nasza wizyta w tym hotelu. Gdybym miał określić jakoś ten hotelik nazwałbym go: "hotel z duszą". Cudowny klimat malutkiego hoteliku I rodzinnej atmosfery. Położony w samym sercu starego mista. Personel wspaniały I nadzwyczaj przyjazny potrafiący wprowadzić wręcz domową atmosferę. Polecamy gorąco ! naprawdę warto !
