Hotel is in a great location - a short, pleasant walk to the old town with great views from the room. The room was extremely spatious with quality furnishings and a good bathroom - better than we expected. Breakfast was adequate but nothing special, though the cakes were great. We had to leave early to catch a bus on the last day and we were offered a packed breakfast and coffee which was really appreciated. Some of the reception staff were a little blunt, not particularly welcoming, and the restaurant had the feel of a works canteen rather than a luxury hotel. We visited out of season, so it was nice having lots of space, but I think it would be very different if hoards of coach tours were present. The most annoying thing was that the restaurant should have had a magnificent view over the old town and the sea - but the view was completely blocked by a brick wall of the indoor swimming pool - such a waste.

I enjoyed the ambience of the hotel and the location. The staff could have been friendlier, but they were sufficient.

Its location on Korcula & proximity to the action areas was the best part. The facilities (pool & gym) were very good. We arrived by ferry at 8.20pm & whilst the buffet meal closed at 9.00pm the range of available food was less than satisfactory. It was not replenished as it should be.

The room size was the largest we experienced during our stay in Croatia. We stayed at six different lodgings all about the same price or even more than this hotel. The outdoor pool area was quite nice. It was a 10 minute walk to the Old Town. All the common areas felt sterile, cold and unwelcoming inside the hotel. The dinning room felt like a university dinning cafeteria. We had a car and parking was a challenge but at the same time it was free. All said, there wasn't many other choices that appeared nicer on Korcula. That being said, if you are looking for a more hip and vibrant atmosphere, choose a different island to stay. So if you want to stay on Korcula, this place is viable given the choices.

We were only here for one night and had to leave the next morning but the swimming pool area looked nice, we didn't have time to use it. The rooms were shabby and unfinished. The breakfast room was unwelcoming with no staff around.

“We were extremely happy with the service. We were greeted by Ivan at the bus stop and driven to the hotel. The next day we we enjoyed the walk along the coast into Korcula town although it was 3km, great way to see other beaches that you normally wouldnt come accross. There was also bikes that were available to use to ride into town. We liked the option of the pool as well as the beach. Food was also great and loved the house wine. Ivan was very hospitable. Highly recommend this accomodation.” Hayley, United Kingdom |
