Desk staff consistently unhelpful, with sour attitude. Towels thin and insufficient.Meager supplies of toilet paper, shampoo etc. No shower curtain or glass barrier. Stained couch. Not enough hot water at one point. Breakfast was ok but staff again unsmiling and sour. |

We paid almost $400 for a sea view and all we saw was the back of two buildings with a small sliver of sea between them, what a rip off!! The front desk was no help at all and seemed mad I was even enquiring about moving to another room. Do not pay extra for the sea view rooms. |

The bedroom was beautifully presented and perfectly clean and very comfortable. Fresh smell of polish on answering the door. Lovely bathroom. Air Con worked perfectly and was both hi-tec easy to use. Breakfast options were extensive. Staff very accomodating. I found it impossible to use the spa facilities (even after raising the problem with receoption) as they were not openly accessible, but were accessed via the beautician/masseuse who was never available as busy with massages. Pool needs more parasols (only 3 available). Otherwise very satisfactory experience at the hotel. |

The room had air-conditioning! (see negative comments) and the pool was nice. The breakfast was ok. Completely over-priced though! We turned up to find that there were some problems at the hotel, so for the first night of a 2 night stay we were moved to a hotel next door. The Marko Polo Reception gave us a "discount of 40euros" that night for the inconvenience of moving however it was the rate the new hotel charged for 1 nights stay anyway (so not really a discount). It was 40degrees and this temporary hotel was run down, had no airconditioning and was no where near worth 200 euros a night. There is no "beach" pebble or otherwise...there is a concrete slab you can lie on to sunbathe and then climb your way over some rocky bits to get in to the water. |

Location was good. Pool area was nice and the staff were friendly. Rooms were a bit small, no balconies and there were no extra facilities for children Eg a games room. It was quite expensive for what it is. |

They has got indoor and outdoor pool and beach just in front of the hotel. Nothing was bad but just ok so I think 240Eur per night is well expensive. I would have been happy to stay and go back there if it has been about up to 150Eur per night. |

The room was very big, nice bathroom, and reasonably close to the main part of the city so walking was not a burden every time. They also kept the room clean. The air conditioning is not controlled in the room, even though there is a thermostate in the room. The hotel controls the max and min temp and it is not cool enough to be comfortable. There are also triggers on all the doors and windows so if you open any, even quickly, it shuts off all a/c and reset the thermostat to the highest temp. The buffet for breakfast is big but the food is bland, basic, and not well-stocked. Being free helps account for dropping in, but still not a good european breakfast. The wi fi is not free nor is it cheap. |

Staff helpful on reception and had kindly given us the best room in the hotel as we were celebrating a special occasion. Outside pool area pleasant. View of Korcula town nice. Tired and dated interiors - bedrooms small and plain (more like a travelodge) and restaurant particularly bad - so many 70s patterns on all surfaces it was dazzling! Breakfast poor. Restaurant windows filthy. Felt like a budget hotel but at luxury hotel prices. Wellness services were "extra" and staff not there when we wanted to use facilities. Poor value for money and not the treat we thought it would be. Badly needs investment! |
