I stayed here for 2 nights at Luxury room, most of the reason I choose here was they had a special 75% reduced fare offer at that time. The scenery from the room was amazing. The hotel stuff especially receptionist was so friendly, helpful person who impressed me several times. The location is great where is in front of Adriatic Sea is absolutely beautiful. The bus stop is only 50 metre or so, it was convenient from/to Old Town by bus No.6. I enjoyed swimming pool and sauna at hotel.

The hotel is situated in a very beautifull location, between the sea and the greennes, a bit far away of the noisy turistic places. The staff was very polite and proffesioanal. We have been lucky because we had an upgrate room. In the room everything was very clean and well decorated. We could use the indoor swimingpool and other relax facilitites, included in the paymet of the room. The breakfas was very good.

Excellent rooms at incredible rates. The Restaurant Zoe is superb. Location is great, away from the more touristic end of town, relaxing and with great bus connection to the Old City.

Stayed here last tr,in apartments for 4.Booked again this yr,got 2 connecting bedrooms/2 bathrooms but not nearly as nice as Importanne block. We were in hotel Neptun itself.Rooms small,a bit tired and dull, tho great seaview.......though at 300 euro a night for 4 b/b,it needed to be Breakfast buffet is the best thing about the place.. Buffet dinner quite dull in restaurant mediterraneo........no effort at creating atmosphere in dining room, dull lighting, all very functional.Ate there only one night, with dinner at 156 kuna[about £20] just not worth it in a place completely without character. Can eat out anywhere at that price! Neptun bedrooms a bit small.Preferred the Suites from last tr.Not 4 or 5 star quality.

Excellent value for money. A lovely seaside area. Got upgraded to Hotel Ariston which was great - very spacious rooms. Staff were very helpful. The main building is not very attractive looking from the outside in! Also there was a wedding there on the Saturday night which was slightly noisy as our rooms were nearby.

This is large complex which has a large amount of facilities. Room was of a decent size with shower, and balcony with a great view along the coastline and out to sea. Breakfast was varied with bacon/ eggs/ sausage as well as cereals/ pastries/ cheese/ham and fruit. Best of all the eating area looked out to sea and had a terrace area. There are two salt water swimming pools for use when the sea is too rough to swim in. Lovely area with sunbeds in amongst the rocks with paving imbetween, and despite going end of July always a sunbed free. Only a short bus ride from town with bus stop 50m away from the outside of the hotel. Found an old slipper underneath our bed with lots of hair attached! Some of the staff were not particularly helpful, and service at the bar at the beach was slow at times.

Good access to the beach. Pools were good. Air conditioned gym. Room was a bit dated. It was not clear on the website that it was a complex of buildings and not just one hotel. Facilities were 4* but the room wasn't.

The hotel is quite good situated. The pool/beach area is clear.Rooms are clean. Good number of pools! The bulding is very old-fashioned, `comunist style`. The beach is very crowded, but it looks typical for the place, as it is only the terrace in the rocks. Hard to find barmens sometimes.

The staff were outstanding, particulary kreso who is major asset to your hotel.beautiful views from our balcony. Postion next to sea lovely.close enough to the old city.it was our anniversary and the bottle of bubbly and chocolates were a great touch - thank you. Expensive mini bar. No shuttle .to and from the airport. For such a magnificent setting, a croatian taverna type relaxed and inexpensive place would enhance the hotel.

The staff was very helpfull and friendly, the location is lovely, but not if you want to be in the center, it's far from the noise and has great views and beaches. It's a place to rest and eat well in its restaurant. It could be better if they arranged some passages safe from cold and rain to go between the buildings and the restaurant area.

If you like the sea, then it's ideal - amazing view of the Adriatic from our room with a balcony. Both the restaurant and breakfast hall have great views of the ocean as well. Frequent buses to the Old Town - about a 10-minute ride, so distance is not an issue. There's also a lovely walkway skirting the ocean from the hotel to one of the many bays that boast great cafes, restaurants and views. Too bad we only discovered this walkway on the morning of our departure but we still managed to enjoy it! Our room was spacious and the bathroom big. That they charged for ala carte coffee! Their breakfast coffee was very bad but when I asked for a flat white instead they charged for it. In all the other hotels we stayed in in Zagreb, Zadar and Split, the ala carte coffees were also included in the breakfast. You only had to ask for it. A very generous touch which the Neptun would do well to emulate.

The location of the hotel is phenomenal! It is on a cliff and we were able to jump into the Adriatic Sea. There were several pools and lounge chairs located all over so we could sunbathe. It was a bit of a busride to town but not too bad. The room was large, clean and very comfortable and the breakfast was pretty good also. Overall, it was an awesome hotel! It is a bit far from old town Dubrovnik but a 20 minute busride was easy enough. The bus stop is very close.

was a fantastic place, although out of season a lot is still closed although this suited us we would probably try and go a little latter in year next time, as seemed to be getting ready for tourists when we left. buses are frequent and cheap to get about, the staff were very helpful, you can buy bus tickets at reception a little cheaper and the bus is just outside the hotel every 15 min.i would highly recommend and we will be going back. also when you come out of airport jump on one of the coaches it cost 70kun for the 2 of us and a taxi is 250kun.happy holiday.

It is part of a complex of 3 or 4 hotels, called Importnne resort. The Neptune is the cheapest, but was under renovation so we we were accomodated in the 4 star main block, and upgraded. The whole building was spotless, stylish, and being winter with very few guests we were treated like royalty. The location is stunning and the staff superb.
