Hotel Neptun Dubrovnik

HYvä seaview+balcony-huone, erinomainen ravintola, hyvä yhteys kaupunkiin myös bussilla

Hotelli oli loistava ja hienolla paikalla. Todellinen häämatkahotelli erityisesti, jos asiakkaan huone vielä upgradetaan merinäkymäsviitiksi, kuten meillä kävi pyytämättä. Näkymät ja palvelu eivät tästä parane.

Hotellin henkilökunta avuliasta ja ystävällistä. Huoneet että hotelli siisti ja puhdas. Hotellihuoneista upea näkymä Adrianmerelle (ainoastaan rannan puoleisista huoneista)

Henkilökunnan englannin kielen taidoissa olis hiukan hiottavaa, mutta toimeen tulee kuitenkin.

Ylellinen, kuitenkin kodikas hotelli, hyvä palvelu, rauhallinen, huoneiston ja ympäristön siisteys erinomainen. Hyvä ja toimiva bussiliikenne sykkeeseen / nähtävyyksiin.

Erittäin ystävällinen palvelu ja asiansa osaava henkilökunta. Siisti ja rauhallinen, suorastaan ylellinen.

Sviitin parvekkeelta putarhanäkymänä seinämä. Muuten sviitti erinomainen

Everything about this hotel was fantastic. I can't see why it is not rated 5 star. Location is a little out of the Old Town, however there is a bus leaving from 100m away every 15 minutes. Staff were excellent and a special thanks to Iris at the front desk, who made everything run smoothly for us.

The hotel rooms were large, with a beautiful view from the balcony overlooking the sea and nearby islands. The beach area, made from rocky platforms was wonderful and you could dive straight into the sea (we were lucky with the weather being in the 20s at the end of October.) The hotel is in a lovely position at the end of the Babin Kuk peninsula, very quiet and peaceful when we were there. You can walk to Lapad beach and to Gruz harbour along the sea path that runs from the hotel, and there is a very frequent bus which runs to the old city of Dubrovnik and back right outside the hotel, taking about ten minutes each way. The buffet style breakfast gave plenty of choice.

The carpets and bathroom floors were not cleaned during our four day stay, although the baths were cleaned,towels changed and our beds made daily. The staff were not very helpful when booking excursions, one member of staff told us the trip we wanted was no longer running but we booked it at the tourist office an hour later! We were also told there was nowhere to eat except the hotel unless we took the bus into Dubrovnik, but found a lovely cafe/restaurant, The Levanant, just a few minutes walk along the sea path.

We were booked in for two nights but unfortunately, due to a tragic family bereavement, had to return to Ireland after the first night. The hotel staff were unbelievably understanding and helpful with rearranging our flights and car hire.Those staff, Iris and Marija in particular, deserve special mention for the cheerful and efficient manner in which they helped us get the most appropriate reservations to suit our special circumstances. It is our intention to re-visit Dubrovnik, and to stay at Hotel Neptun as soon as we can.

Big clean rooms with sea view, friendly staff, good breakfast.

Far from the city, however there is a regular bus service.

The staff are delightful, extremely helpful and full of fun. Additionally some minor defects in our room were put right immediately we mentioned them. Room was well lit and fine with a good modern bathroom and balcony. Breakfast was good with lots of choice and, contrary to what others have written, the restaurant (Zoe) is very good with a very reasonable daily menu. Bus service is very close and regular. There was some noise from the corridor so could be better insulated. Otherwise we thought it was very good.

The swimming pools could be updated. They looked a little tired.

the hotel has no shops or restaurants close by and the hotel food is poor and expensive. In the summer this could be an ideal location - but in cold rainy weather it's a bit isolated unless you have a car.
