Old Town City Center Apartments    

Our room was located within the walled city, yet very close to the public carpark outside the wall, providing easy access for transporting luggage. A beautiful room, immaculately clean, incredibly comfortable. Delightful staff.

Staying within the walled city is truly a magical experience and imperative, I believe, to fully experience its charms. That said, I've stayed within the walls on two separate occasions at two lovely locations and haven't slept a wink due to late evening revelers! Be ready to expect this and accept it!

The location is Excellent, right in the middle of Old Town. The room is clean, pretty and has a nice large bed. The owners are very nice.

Only a minor issue, the reception is not at the same place as the room. It is very close, but you have to climb a lot of stairs with the luggage.

Staff were lovely and very helpful and the location was perfect, it was directly off the old town.. It is ideal for a young couple as there were quite a few steps to climb. It was clean, and room was decorated very nicely. Very enjoyable stay.

The steps. As a mture person with luggage for 2 after 8 weeks of travel, it was a struggle to get up and down. Also, directions could be clearer.

I liked the old city feeling

the room was unlike the photo shown ,colour was a very heavy red room but clean. Place hard to find as couple had similar names. very noisy at night.

One of be best things about this hotel is the location. The Old town is absolutely beautiful and there are lots of restaurants and shops at your doorstep. I would highly recommend staying within this area as it has a magical quality about it. The staff at the hotel were also very friendly and made you feel welcome. I stayed in the apartment on dropceva which had a double bed and upstairs bathroom. It's very pretty and cozy. Perfect for a couple on a city break. The room was clean and had enough storage space for two. Its also had ac which was a blessing on hot days. The bathroom was quite unique with some limited head space but I quite enjoyed that about it. The room has an all impotant kettle, mugs etc for making tea and coffee. It's also had a fridge and some plates and cutlery. The hotel has its own restaurant which is always packed and the food was lovely.

This room is not recommended for anyone with children. The stairs to the bathroom have a small rope handrail however they are steep and would be difficult for anyone with a child or baby. The bathroom was nice, however you have to duck to use the toilet. This was fine in the beginning but after several times of banging my head became a bit annoying. I think the description of apartment is a bit misleading. I would describe the room as your typical English guest house. Tea/coffee making facilities with a fridge. You could not prepare a meal, which I would expect from an apartment. The fridge and kettle are also in the bathroom upstairs which is a bit inconvenient but I got used to it. My main complaint was the noise. This is not the hotels fault but something to be considered. My apartment in Dropceva was a short distance away from an Irish bar. The windows don't block out any noise coming through so you can hear everyone's conversation. I was also woken up by a man in the next room on the phone. This was at 6am and I could not only hear him talking but also what the other person was saying on speakerphone. One small complaint was that my room wasn't cleaned at all during my stay of 4 nights. I made my bed every morning but noticed that the sheets weren't changed at all during my stay. Fresh towels were provided however if needed. These are just small things I noticed but the hotel in all is very clean and cosy. I think the price is more for the location as opposed to the facilities. I would also recommend you pay in Euros/sterling. I paid in Croatian Kunas and depending on the rate I actually paid more than the price on booking.com. They only accept cash, however I would recommend an email before you travel enquiring about what currency they accept.

Warm reception, lovely "home team" and a delightful apartment, romantic and very pleasant. Fresh towels were provided daily, too! The steep steps in old Dubrovnik are not for the unfit! But this is a great place to stay, very convenient for the Stradun and all the sights of Dubrovnik.The house restaurant, Ragusa 2, is excellent.

Our shower was designed for the seriously small and slim; we're utterly normal, but this was a tight fit! And the apartment can be noisy late in the evening, but that can be said of any Dubrovnil old town accommodation.

Shelf in shower for toiletries would be good. Can opener didn't work.

Fantastic apartment in the heart of the city!

The location was excellent, right in the historic town centre. Charming and helpful reception staff. Nice room.

There was some noise from other guests coming and going as the room was by the stairs/corridor.

Great location in centre of old town. Nice room with a little balcony overlooking the rooves of the Old town. Generally a nice stay. No problem to store bags in our room during the day of check out

Lots of winding stairs within the property to get to our room with heavy bags - not suitable for those who can't handle stairs.

apartment : clean and tidy large enough for 4 people. nicely surprised having 2 bathrooms 1 on-suite. staff friendly and helpful.

Dubrovnik: not user friendly. overpriced,busy,not a lot to do. day trip advised as geared for cruise ships

The location is excelent, right in the middle of the old town, our apartment was cute and clean, had everything we need. There are a lot of stairs, but the whole town is like this.

The location of the apartment was excellent. Ana from the apartment got in touch prior to our arrival to confirm and make sure we knew how to get to it and we received a warm welcome when we arrived.

We stayed at Number 2 Plovani Skalini. There was a horrible musty smell from the moment you opened the door. The quality of the mattress on the bed was lumpy and uncomfortable, we did not sleep well for the 3 nights we stayed. The walls are so thin that you can hear everything from all around the apartment, even the slightest noise. This cannot be changed obviously but worth mentioning in case any future guests are planning to sleep in during their visit!

the location is great, within the city walls and minutes from everything. The appartment was lovely, and the staff were good enough to have flowers and champagne waiting for us (we stayed here for a few days as part of our honeymoon)

The bed was nice and large but very poor, making loads of noise with any movement. Its not enough to ruin your holiday, but it was a shame and certainlty means taking it in turns to wake each other up with any minor movement. Shame it didnt have a washing machine.

Space size for all our guests. One room we stayed in even had a washing machine.
