Old Town Ivory Apartments  

The apartments are right in the heart of the old town. My studio was clean and comfortable with a lot of character. The apartment agent was very friendly and helpful. I felt completely at ease and had a fantastic time in Dubrovnik. Perfect.

Nothing. If you are a prude you won't like it- it is not the height of luxury and there are not people waiting on you hand and foot. I have read some of the negatives people have put down and it just makes me laugh.

Location and room were great - in old town above a pizzeria. My wife thought the room was very cute.

Location. In Old Town and over a pizza place. Small but has all the facilities you would need for a short stay. Very cute.

There is no elevator so you have to carry your bags up steep stairs. We only had one floor to go up but it would have been hard for the 4th floor.

Fantastic location in Old Town close to Pillar Gate, beautifully decorated, very clean.

We had an excellent stay at the Roko Apartments. Yerka the owner was lovely, extremely gracious and helpful. Our flight was delayed leaving us to arrive late in the evening, we contacted Yerka who was thankfully there waiting for us. Very nice and clean rooms within the walled city- a bit of a maze to find your way at first, but this would be typical for any other hotel. Thank you again to Yerka for directing us around the city and sharing her stories of Dubrovnik!

Superb location - 2 mins from the Stradun and Pile Gate. Fairly basic accommodation but very clean and comfortable. Excellent value for money for a location such as this.

The aparment was right in the heart of the old town,fantastic location. nice decor, modern ,stylish, very clean, in a lovely old stone house,the roof terrace has great views of the wonderful city,realy enjoyed our stay ,.fab!!!

I stayed here with my wife and adult daughter. The location is perfect - right in the centre of the old town, above a little pizzeria with lovely friendly staff. The owner is delightful and the accommodation is immaculate, with sweet decor and very comfy beds. Highly recommended for couples - young and mature alike.

No tea/coffee making facilities, no complimentary coffee (instant or other), no tea, no sugar, no condiments, eg, salt, pepper etc. Zero provided. Kitchenette available without facilities, no saucepans, salad bowls, vegetable peeler, cutting knives, dish cloths, cooking utensils etc, etc. Only supplied 3 forks, one dinner knife, bottle opener, dishwashing liquid and sponge. What is the point of a kitchen which cannot be used. Could not even make a cup of coffee or scramble eggs, or make any type of meals. I had to make a salad in the sink!!!!!!!!!. I sent email asking if kitchenette is equipped to make coffee/breakfast, and was told kitchenette fully equipped . Kitchenette is located in the bedroom, which would smell up the room if you were able to cook anything.

Location,bed was comfortable and host waas friendly

we got double booked and had to stay in the hosts apartment for the first night ( this was complimentary ). was disappointed that she did not email this to me when I confirmed the booking two days before

The room was clean and comfortable. The lady was very helpful. The rooftop area was awesome, small, but we were able to have our breakfast and an evening drink up there. Location was good

It is a little bit hard to find first time, but not unusual in this location. For some people the word "apartment" might be misleading. It is really a bedroom with ensuite bathroom and a tiny kitchen in the corner. Perfect for breakfast cereal, but not much more.

Very pleasant small appartment with exposed stonework. Well equipped, recently renovated to a high standard, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Excellent location in the centre of the old town.

It was in the Old Town saving having to walk or bus in each day from outside

It was up a lot of steps. It was dark and dingy. The apartment smelt horribly of sewage. There were electric wires sticking out of the walls. There was no kettle.

the location within the old town was fantastic. perfect to be able to pop back for a siesta. room was clean, air conditioned and had everything we needed.

the room was small but that didnt bother us as we were never there. ivory apartments were hard to find - no signage!

We loved the location and the room was really well designed and extremely comfortable. We ended up relaxing in the room for small periods of time when it got hot, and it was perfect for that. It's right on top of a restaurant so you don't have to go far to get some good pizza's too.

We were a little annoyed that the wifi didn't work, because we really needed it, but we could still get service on the top balcony, so it wasn't a total loss. It got a little noisy, but we have had worse, but it never went past 1am, so we still got plenty of rest.

Locality was in the old town and therefore convenient for browsing and booking trips via the many boats in the old town harbour.....hotel was clean and satisfactory although could be noisy at night as it was above restaurants but this did not detract from enjhoyment...Temperatures were high and the air conditioning system was a saving grace

When booked we thought we had booked a room with kitchen facilities, but on arrival was informed we had small single room with no kitchen facilities although the room with these facilities was unoccupied Weather during our stay was very,very warm and the hot water was not functioning properly so this made showering impossible....Towels not changed for first 3 days, similar to bed linen...contact person usually unavailable and she had promised to arrange transport to the airport,,,bcause of her unavailability we could not confirm our transport arrangements so we had to make alternative on the morning of our departure

I loved our stay at Old Town Ivory Apartments. From the moment we were collected at the airport by a taxi the lovely owner had arranged and then met by her at the entrance to the city walls, our stay was just wonderful. I asked for a room on the top floor and that's what we got. Beautifully clean and stylishly decorated room. There's a beautiful spot on the rooftop to relax with a beer in the early evening or sit and have breakfast in the morning sunshine. Fantastic location right in the heart of the wonderful old town. The owner was very professional and friendly and did everything she could to ensure our bags were safe on the last day as we had an evening return flight. She even helped to carry our bags to and from the taxi. I would definitely return- I loved it!
