Palace Judita    

We loved everything about this hotel: the rooms were beautiful and spacious; the staff was fantastic; the breakfasts were delicious; the location was perfect.

This was a superb experience. Location inside the city walls next to all the sites, the marina and shopping. The personnel were wonderful. The room beautiful. Split is great! Even breakfast was lovely! I will return. Excellent price/value relarionship.

Parking was outside the walls, and GPS failed me to find where I should be , but the personnel came and found me! So a negative ended up as a positive!

I like the position and the staff. Room wide and in very good condition.

My room have two window directly connected to a small terrace. So if you keep open the window people could see easily inside.

When we arrived at Split, Atea (sorry if not the correct name) picked us up with the golf cart (BTW, the only hotel at old town that has one!). Arriving at the hotel, Andrija was there to welcome us (he's always there!) and what a warm welcome! The boutique hotel is gorgeous; we had two rooms, one with a view to the main square (wonderful, you can open the windows to 'feel' the place, or close them, completely soundproof) and another one overlooking the cute courtyard. The hotel is very well kept. Marija and Andrija were always trying to make our stay the best ever! Excellent location, staff, accommodation, breakfast, free wi-fi. I was worried with my mother having to climb steps to the room, but they were not steep and that was not a problem at all (I bet Andrija would take her in his hands if necessary :). I'm really picky with hotels, but I already started to recommend Palace Judita to my friends. I agree with Stephen's review below: "... despite all this quality, it is the staff that makes staying here truly outstanding". Thank you, Palace Judita!

The friendliness of all the staff, the immaculate decor, just the overall feel of being welcome. We were made to feel like very special people by Andrea and he could not have been more helpfull. We would choose this hotel above others for our needs.

The hotel was in the middle of Old town and was very charming

The staff, particularly Marija and Andre. The position in the square by the palace. The design and furnishings of the whole building. The attention to detail. The breakfasts. The fact that nothing was too much trouble to make our stay enjoyable. Almost like being part of the family.

Loved everything about it. Wonderful staff, especially Andrea, he is an unusual gem. Not only charming and competent, but makes you feel welcome and goes the extra mile to make your stay pleasant and effortless. Great breakfasts and very helpful with arrangements. Marija Mestrovic, at the front office is also lovely and helpful. The location is also fantastic and the rooms comfortable and private. A lot more than a bed and breakfast!

Would have loved a larger lobby to sit during the day.

All the staff were very warm and welcoming and the service was exceptional. Thanks to Marija and Andrija our trip to split was a home away from home. The hotel is very beautifully decorated and the courtyard is gorgeous to relax and enjoy a drink. The breakfast was also fresh and delicious. I will definitely choose to stay at this hotel again.

Great location, right in the heart of the old city. Great care taken to make us feel comfortable . Served us coffee and wine on arrival. Beautiful rooms, air conditioners. Great breakfast, coffee, omelette.

This accommodation is first class, with a great deal of thought gone into even the smallest of details. Well designed and decorated, spotlessly clean everywhere. We had a huge, comfortable bed, with extremely quiet air conditioning that kept the room at the perfect temperature and we could hear no outside noise despite the Judita Palace being in the busiest square in the old town. However, despite all this quality, it is the staff that makes staying here truly outstanding. We arrived at the bus station and were met by Andrea, who insisted on taking charge of three of our four pieces of luggage and led us to the hotel. During the walk, we were spoken to and treated as if long lost returning relatives and on arrival, all other staff treated us equally as if we were vip’S. Nothing was ever too much trouble and generally, anything we required was pre-empted before we could ask. Some reviewers have mentioned the steep stairs up to the accommodation – so what? The staff insist that guests do not handle their luggage at anytime and carry it both up and down as required. On the day that we left (for the port) it was raining heavily, so a golf cart was duly supplied and our luggage carried under an umbrella and loaded, along with us also being sheltered by umbrellas to the cart. At the port, our luggage (under an umbrella again) was loaded aboard our ferry for us and then we were escorted under umbrellas feeling like vip’S. Without a shadow of a doubt, our stay in Split was made the most memorable by our interaction with staff from this hotel.

This boutique hotel is not only charming, elegent, beautifully decorated with every luxury you could expect in the best hotels of the world, but the staff are so pleasant and helpful that you just do not want to leave. Breakfast is served in their elegent dining room and exceeds all expectations as does the whole hotel. It is a must if staying in Split. If I was able to I would give this hotel a 15 out of 10!!

From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty! The room was fabulous! You really get the feeling that the staff really love Split (and rightly so!) and are proud of their boutique hotel. Each of the rooms is named after a legendary person or couple from split and there is an information booklet telling these stories which is a lovely touch and adds to the romance of the place. The location couldn't be better within the walls of the diocletian palace and although this means that hotel parking is a little bit away, a complimentary shuttle service is offered in a buggy car which is an experience in itself! Breakfast is also excellent with a wide selection and the option for freshly prepared hot food. The hotel is not cheap but is worth every penny and I would most definitely stay there again if i was coming back to Split

The staff of this hotel, and the hotel itself are one of a kind. They really do go out of their way to please you. They make it very comfortable and a pleasure to be with them. Their courtyard is very romantic with lots of flowers. Beautiful comfortable rooms. Nice breakfast. Right in the middle of "the action" of the town. Very pleasant to sit on their terrace and watch the world pass by. We all loved it. (5 people)

Everything!

Everything about the Palaca was incredible. The location, the view from the room(room 6), the facility itself. But the absolutely most phenomenal part our our stay there was the staff. We normally stay at 4 and 5 star hotels in US. The staff at the Palaca puts them to shame. Simply the Best!!

That we had to leave!

Location is great, decor is very tasteful, staff are really fantastic - nothing is too much trouble. One of the ladies has extensive knowledge of the history of split and is a delight to speak with. The gentleman at reception is charming, funny, very helpful and extremely professional. the staff really made our stay very special and memorable.

They were full so we could not stay longer ;)

We liked everything about the Judita Palace - especially the very friendly and attentive welcome from all of the staff. Judita Palace is our new favourite hotel. Nothing was too much trouble - as we prepared to leave and walk to the bus station an electric buggy was summoned to carry us and our bags to the bus. No charge, just part of the attention to detail. All of this n a beautiful city like Split and with some fantastic restaurants too.

The staff of Palace Judita, Maria, Andreas, Mislav were the friendliest staff we have ever encountered on our travels!!! They were simply wonderful in helping us get settled, from parking our car, bringing our heavy luggages to settling us in with helpful info. They went out of their way to walk us to the carpark to orientate us to to the routes. The location was fantastic and the hotel deserves 10 out of 10 rating!!! Would love to stay again and absolutely fabulous establishment!!!

Helpful, friendly, knowledgeable hosts, beautiful room, free wifi, excellent location, free parking, great breakfast.

Room was spacious and beautifully decorated. Bed was comfortable. View from window lovely. All Staff friendly and helpful in providing suggestions for eating, touring, etc. Ground floor bar with flowering plants. Breakfast great with freshly prepared omelette.

Only issue is you can't park in the hotel area. This was not a problem. Hotel staff met us at the parking area and helped us with our luggage.
