Our second Croatian island (the first was Lošinj) and another marvel! We were enthralled by the nature, we loved the diverse beaches, the restaurants and food were great, the locals extremely friendly, and for those wondering about Zrće - yes, it is just as lively and fun as everyone is saying. Pag is truly a well-rounded destination and you can be sure there is something for everyone to discover and fall in love with.

Pag is a beautiful place with a distinctive island atmosphere, hospitable inhabitants and acceptable and varied services. Everyone can find a place according to their requirements, even during two weeks there is still something new to discover and get to know. Beautiful place, we will definitely come back.

Pag is a quiet town for a family holiday.

Pag is a quiet town for a family holiday. The island is connected to the mainland by a bridge, which makes trips to other destinations easier. The stony landscapes with its indigenous plants is breathtaking and looks otherworldly.

Pag is an island of many faces.

Pag is an island of many faces. Various beaches, hiking trails, historic town, deserted areas and "night life" options on Zrča beach (not my favourite pastime though). I wish the developments near Novalja would slow down because they are changing the island ireversibly, increasing the pressure on scarce natural resources. It is famous for its strong wind (bura) on the eastern side, regional hard cheese, olive oil. Some of my favourite places - hiking trails and beaches near Metajna, olive grows near Lun, the old town of Pag. To get around you need your own car (or a boat). Accessible from the S (via bridge) or from N and NE (via ferry from the island Rab or from mainland). I'd avoid driving into the center of Novalja town, especially the undeground garage of the supermarket. Groceries and restaurants are all around, bigger supermarkets only in the towns of Pag and Novalja.

The island very unique feature an inner sea, where you can find lots of very nice beaches. Here the beautifull sea meets with scenic, rugged mountains, so you can hike&swimm. There are small coves, nices beaches, olive gardens even more a via ferrate at the sea level. Ideal for adventureous people who loves nature.

Pag itself is a small city, but worth a walk.

Pag itself is a small city, but worth a walk. There`s a very nice square with a little but beautiful church. I advise a visit in a cheese shop, "Paska Sirana", 5 Zadarska Street, where you can choose from a variety of Pag`s famous sheep cheeses. A great present or souvenir to enjoy. Another must-do thing is a day cruise round the island (usually 9.00-18.00) You can book a trip in the harbour area, close to the bridge. The cost is 300kn per person and includes breakfast, lunch plus an unlimited amount of wine and Travarica. Great views, stops for swimming and the highlights - the Cave! I`ll recommend Konoba Dida - good food, nice staff, just remember that they have a break from 3 to 6 in the evening.

Everything was great. Really nice owner and all service. The room is a little small, but is wasn't problem. It was enought for us. There is a small fridge in the room which was a plus. The room has air conditioning. Great location! (close to the beach, close to the center of Pag) Tasty meals for breakfast and dinner. Pet-friendly place, there was no problem with arriving with the dog and there was no extra charge for it (big advantage!) If we ever go to the Pag again, we will stay here again with pleasure.

If you're looking for the best hosts in Pag, look no further! We had an amazing time staying with them and would highly recommend them to anyone visiting the area. We were thrilled to receive a small gift at check-out. It was a great way to end our stay. This is the best souvenir we’ve ever gotten from a host! We enjoyed our time at Apartments Luka and would love to come back for another visit! The island is gorgeous, and there's so much to explore.

Maria and her husband were so warm and friendly, loved them instantly. The room was very clean, bed felt like my memory foam mattress at home, slept like a baby. The location was incredible,50 ft across the street was the beach. And just down the street and over the pedestrian bridge was Old Town Pag. There is a nearby bakery and supermarket within 5 mi walk. I really did like staying here and highly recommend.

Really kind hosts (young couple) manage an apartment in their own house, not far away from town center. Spacious, clean and calm flat on first floor is open to terrace oriented south with view over Pag town and Pag bay. One can forget about driving when spending holidays here, everything is accessible by feet - town square, town beach, shops, restaurants, museums.

Lovely friendly staff who went to great lengths to help when an item went missing in the pool area. A beautiful setting by the water with a beach that is almost private given access is not so obvious from the road. Lovely infinity pool and terrace area. Great menu and drinks although Pag town is a must for a stroll and easy to reach by foot from the hotel.

Absolutely everything. It was spacious, brand new, with a beautiful terrace and views, wonderful hosts and even streaming services we use in the US. We have been coming to Pag for years but this place is just in a category of its own. Which includes kind and attentive hosts.

The beach is very close, basically, the hotel is situated on the coast. Breakfast was okay, I would expect more options, especially for vegetables, but it was good. On the bar, the only reasonable option was a beer, the rest of the alcohol was not acceptable for my taste.
