Extra costs if you want to enjoy the pool's chairs and pillows.
Very nice park with great appartments. Pool was great. Shop and restaurant great, as well as the service.
Insects in the room which were a bit troublesome.
Good location and good access to a supermarket and restauraunts. Great play centre for kids. All staff were geat as were the people who helped with our luggage.
modernity and exclusivity, contemporary design of the rooms and apartments, wonderful and well-tended and well-groomed greenery, exceptional landscape architecture, two beaches for dogs, nice restaurant at the pool, good shops and great walks around
Was perfect: nothing to dislike
Room, service, facilities, location
Sofa bed is not comfortable for two persons
Professional environment Good facilities
No lift to take bags upstairs am sure if we asked the porter would of done it
Everything this place was perfect for a 3 night stop to recover from lots of travelling. Catch up on sleep, laundry, plus great location to visit the surrounding areas of pula
Our two youngest girls (6,4) always wanted to go back for more to Iva at the kids club. We usually don't like to have them away from us when we are on a family holiday, but they enjoyed themselves so much, and it gave us and the older sisters some time to chill.
We didn't want to turn on the air condition at night time, we wanted to sleep with opened window but there was no mosquito net.
Our premium apartment was very close to the beach, it was handy with little children, very nice modern accomodation. The whole area was beautiful. We had a great time here.
We were there in September when school had started already. Still there were a lot of families around. Imagine what it would be like if you go there in top-season, july and august - I wouldn´t. You have to be careful which restaurants you choose. First night we just went to the one with the buffet on the shopping street. 300 Kuna for two people eating. But if you look around a bit you will find better (and cheaper) places to go to for lunch or dinner. You have to pay for everything. If you want a deckchair on the pool you´ll have to pay it. If you wanna do anything else, you´ll have to pay it. Though 20 Kunas a day per deckchair isn´t that much, if you are a bigger family this gets expensive, still i think it´s a fair price. Unfortunatly the pools are not heated. It´s simply the water from the ocean, so if you go there in early autumn, be prepared for cold water if you want to take a swim. If you don´t like the feeling of being in a hotel-komplex like this, you should not be going to this place. You gotta like this kind of holiday - otherwise you might have trouble enjoying it ;-)
The Apartment is very cozy and we felt like home from the moment we opened the door. Kitchen is not that well equiped, but for cooking purposes ok. WLAN works good in the whole hotelarea and on some parts of the beach. The little balcony is perfect for a drink in the evening. The whole area around the hotel is really nice. The fact that it´s really close to the marina of verudela is good (at least for me) - you get the chance of looking at boats the whole day long, never gets boring. People who cleaned the room and the guys from the reception were friendly. I´d only recomend to go there during the pre- and after-season. During the holidays and when kids are not in the school, this quickly can become your worst nightmare! But that´s what it´s made for - it´s a place for families. You never get bored: Tennis, Squash, Biking, Watersports etc. There is nothing you can´t do there, as long as you pay for it. From April to the middle of June and from September on is probably the best time to visit this place.
Nothing except for the pillow.
Clean! Wonderful pool area. Calm.
Paying for sunbeds at pool (approx £2 a day)
Apartment Facilities Location
all was good!
Good apartment with all the features one needs. Good food at the pool. Nice lounge beds at the rocky beaches.
I like concept and location.even in last week you can swim as Thé temp. Of sea is around 23-24. It was really wonderful. Although i was in för business trip, it looks like Vacation as I have had a chance to swim. To sum up, excellent location to have a holiday. Exactly, i recommend
We didn't have kettles to make tea in the apartments, with my elderly parents this would have been very nice - boiling a pot was a bit dangerous even if we could have hired one at reception - but didn't spoil any of our holiday we just bought one - thanks
the pools and shops were brilliant, the staff were very nice and helpful especially in some of the restaurants - thanks
Cleaning service. Pool activities. Lack of services. You had to pay for everything. Nothing included. Same food.
Great location. Good prices.
As it was mid September when we arrived, it was quiet and some amenities were closing
Location, access to sea swimming, amenities
lots of noise in the mornings from other guests and their dogs.
nice clean room with good facilities and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the complex.
The complex could provide a shuttle bus into Pula town.
cleaning - being a 4 star holiday resort there should be a daily/ every other day full cleaning service in place, not just taking out garbage and changing towels equipment of the kitchen dish washing machine missing a larger choice of products in the supermarket, especially fruits and vegetables
very nice apartment resort good restaurant beautiful beach area crystal clean sea helpful service at the reception
The Verudela shops are more expensive, than the normal average of the Istrian shops, while the quality of their products isn't better. Coffe for example was much more expensive than the prices in the inner city of Rovinj, which is the pearl of the Istrian Peninsula. The shore along the complex is rocky, You'll need a water shoe, or visit the mainly sandy beaches of Medulin. If You won't spend money inside the territory of the complex (there are several hypermarkets in Pula, like Lidl, Plodin, Konzum), this is the best choice for You!
We've had a great time in Pula, Park Plaza Verudela. The service was great and comfortable, the apartman was clean and well equipped, most of the staff speak english and german well. During our time we visited several near spots in Istria, including Medulin, Kap Kamenjak, Porec and during a boat trip (look for Fissa Brijuni), we visited Rovinj, the Lim Fjord and St. Katarina for a fair price. Tour guide is available in english, german, russian, polish, italian and hungarian language.
However, it was very noisy at night time and we thought it was a bit much that they charged extra for sun loungers. Made it feel a little bit like a production line!
It was a beautiful place to stay and we had a very relaxing few days. The room was nice, clean and the staff friendly.
Mosquito bites, can't be helped! Went 1st September and Watersports already seemed to be closed down.
Went here for Outlook festival so didn't spend too much time at the hotel but check in and check out was easy, extremely clean - everything new and modern! A lot of choice for restaurants/cafes/bars and extremely good food! Lovely stay overall:)
My kids weren't crazy about the swimming pool with salty water. And I thought it ridiculous when I was asked to pay for the pool chair. The high cost of the room should have covered this. Also the non-availability of towels by the pool side was inconvenient as we were also not allowed to use the towels provided in the room. As a family on a holiday to Europe, and staying in 4+ star hotels, the last thing we would think of packing were towels!!
We stayed in a premium apartment for 4 and it was perfect. Loved the bedroom upstairs and the sea view was breathtaking. We loved taking a stroll through the resort. It would be nice if the room rate included 1 or 2 complimentary activities though.
We could hear all the noise from the hallway and outside all night long. No soundproofing at all. And staff was not knowledgeable when asked for recommendations the information given was poor.
Cheap price by the water.
Buildings were lifeless
Point by point everything was good
