We had a studio with sea view what we asked when we booked, so we had a great view from our terrass. The whole resort was very clean and the staff was nice and helpful, speaking German and English. We really liked the sea, very clear water and the pool is amazing too. Actually we went out of season, so it was very quiet, not many people there yet, which was perfect to relax!!! We really enjoyed it and it's perfect for a little trip. We'll come back!

The 'bed' was not so comfortable, but we only stayed 3 nights, so it was okay. The prices at the supermarket in the resort are much higher than in the city of Pula. No towel and sponge in the kitchen for washing.

We loved the Park plaza Verudela. It is a large resort with a two hotels on the site, the other is the park plaza Histria (this is where the wellness and the breakfast is) it is very convenient for people who don't want to drive into town everyday as there is a supermarket, restaurants and some shops on site all in walking distance. The towel problem mentioned in other reviews has obviously been acknowledged as we had people come every day to check what we needed. The pool overlooks the Adriatic sea and there is also a small kiddy pool with a slide. The two restaurants are fine-don't expect gourmet but for convenience they are great. We preferred the restaurant which is away from the pool (I don't remember the name). The sea food platter for 2 people was amazing! We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with a sea view and it was excellent. We were able to sit on our terrace in the evening and admire the view. I highly recommend spending a bit more to get one of these apartments as they are also in a great location, right next to the pool! All the staff were amazing and happy to help transport us in their golf carts when we had luggage plus baby. The massage in the Histria hotel was great and the pool downstairs was perfect for the bad weather days. Although, if you are not staying in the Histria hotel you pay and it is about 6 Euro's. The aquarium and kiddy play land are great added extras for the little people. The play land can also do day and night baby sitting.

We would have loved a small kids menu in the pool side restaurant as there was none and they would not do half portions. I would recommend people with small children take some of there own food as the supermarket did not have jars of baby food. The rooms really needs a kettle but I'm not sure where it would go as the kitchen is small. Not a big deal really as there were pots, pans, microwave etc.

Clean, nice shower, good price, full kitchen (although I didn't cook).

Bad curtains - woke up at 6 every morning because of the light entering the studio every morning. Pretty warm in the room - airco not really helping.

We booked a studio for four nights for 170 eur on May, 2013. Amazing price!!!! So highly recommend for this price...

It was extremely cold in our ground floor studio in May. It took two days to properly heat up with the noisy fan coil unit. I caught a cold because of that.

1 - Location is excellent. 2 - A lot of sport options (tennis, squash, bike, swimming, etc) 3 - There are windsurfing spots only few km away (Premantura / Medulin) 4 - There is a boat rental point in Medulin - great place for cruising!

1 - Dogs are allowed but cost 12 EUR per day and you learn about it when you arrive. 2 - A lot of facilities were closed because of low-season (I was there end of April / beginning of May)

Very nice hotel in the green area.Modern designed apartments with beautiful views. Large, clean and well positioned pool and friendly staff.

Location is great, just on the seaside. Good value for money. Reasonable prices at hotel restaurants with very tasty food (grilled calamari :)) . New and cozy.

No soundproof doors in rooms - you can hear all the external noises including staff speaking loud in the morings or lawn-mowers. We stayed during a no-peak season and already it was hard to find a free bed at the pool, apparently can be very crouded during peak season.

Great apartment, very beautiful, nicely designed, equiped with everything you need. Nice environment, possibility of nice long walks by the sea.

Such a big and nice resort as Verudela deserves better traffic signalization, either comming from the center of Pula, or from the motorway.

Everything was fantastic. Cheap in shops and restaurants. Good connection to pula city. Car rental in the objects. To be honest Everything was perfect. Definatelly will come back in this year.

Cold water in pools. Pools was open first 27th of April that's why water was cold.

Architecture, buildings, gardens and layout very nice. The staff friendly, respectful and helpful. Generally and over all very good facilities, also the sport facilities are good. Good restaurants in walking distance. In April-May reasonably priced.

The location outside of Pula is probably better than city centre if you have a car

Great Value for the money. The room we got was perfect; pull out bed, kitchenette and a stand in shower. The staff came and cleaned our room, took out the trash and provided us with clean towels everyday. The apartments were a minute walk to the water. We would definitely stay there again. We highly recommend this place.

The resort was slow for the winter season; restaurants and stores were closed in the area. The resort was a little far from the city. If you want to wonder around Pula, rent a car.

Sea, swimming pool, food...

It's not like normal hotels, it's sth like holiday apartments. They don't clean the room daily, and only change towels every 3 days. It's my first time to stay in Croatia. I am not sure whether it's common case or not. At least the above case is not mentioned in the description materials.

Lots of facilities. Well kept grounds. The apartment we stayed in had plenty of storage space. Kitchenwares were in good condition, and were everything we needed to make simple meals (no oven).

No in room hairdryer. Apartments are not very sound proof. Onsite video game arcade is only open weekend nights. Staff were not very friendly and seemed bothered when we asked about local attractions, and even when we asked for a map of the complex. No dish washing cloth provided in the apartment.

Excellent S/C apartment, one of the best I've stayed in. Newly decorated, very comfortable, immaculately clean. We were 2 friends travelling together, booked an apartment that slept 4 people, so it had a separate bedroom upstairs, and sofa bed downstairs. Both double beds and very comfortable. Excellent power shower with massage shower head in very nice, stylish bathroom. Big flat screen tvs in both bedroom and living room with all satellite channels, included in price. Air con also included and brand new, worked very well. Good size refridgerator, 2 ring hot ceramic hot plate cooker and microwave oven in kitchen, plenty of cooking utentils, cups, plates, etc. Even a hairdryer was supplied!! (in downstairs clothes storage) Plenty of swimming pools to choose from, we counted 5 inc, indoor pool in main hotel. Excellent facilities at main hotel, though you have to pay extra to use these. Several cafe/bars on site, on site supermarket, well stocked though a little high in price. Plenty of amenities in surrounding area for younger children. Several beaches within a short walking distance. Site is around 5km from Pula centre, regular bus service (every 15 mins in day time) goes from near site entrance by security office. Staff extremely helpful and polite, and very able and willing to assist in all enquiries; It's easy to get to/from the airport by bus; take bus into centre of Pula from airport, then bus number 3A to Verudela; journey will take approx. 40 mins at a very reasonable price; or by taxi, takes around 15 mins (negotiate price with driver first) It's Very difficult to find fault with this hotel complex, will recommend highly and would definitely book here again in the future.

I read other reviews of this hotel when booking; the common complaint seemed to be of noise; we stayed here late in the season, outside the school holidays, so there were not so many children about, and those that were there were all very well behaved. Other noise is only from the service/repair guy going around in an electric car, repairing things; ie, doing his job. Better that than things not working. The only other noise was of the garbage bins being emptied a few times while we were there. But, our apartment was in the very centre of the complex and surrounded by everything. For a quieter spot, I would recommend booking an apartment nearer the sea, with a sea view, so it doesnt face into the complex. Othe complaints were of insufficient towels; we were 2 guys sharing a 4 person apartment, we had 4 towels each on arrival, and they were changed twice during the week, so we had more than enough. The apartment wasn't actually cleaned by the staff during the week, but this wasn't a problem; the last thing I want when on holiday is to be woken up by cleaners; we took care of it ourselves, no problem. Toilet paper, yes we ran out, it wasn't a problem to get more from the cleaners, reception, or the supermarket on site. The site itself is a little far out of Pula centre,(around 5km) but there is a regular bus. We did walk it a few times though, when we came back after the bus had stopped runnning, The walk took around 35-40 minutes. The site is very well sign posted, roads well lit, and very safe. So, no real complaints, only minor things.

I liked the friendly nature of the staff, the location was excellent for our day trips and our visits to relatives. The apartment was clean and well kept and had all the facilities we needed except an internal laundry. The pool area was great and the view over the sea from our balcony was fabulous. We had a great holiday and would recommend it to family and friends. Thankyou.

The apartment stairs were steep and narrow and painted dark brown which could cause problems for elderly. Toilet facilities off the bedroom would be good and washing machine or tub would have made our stay easier.
