Hotel Park SplitHatzeov Perivoj 3, 21000 Split (Show map) Good, Score from 130 reviews“Wonderful 90 years small intimate hotel in the heart of the city.”
Aleksandra,
Edmonton
Built in 1921, the Park is a traditional first-class hotel in the center of Split, very close to the famous Diocletian’s Palace. Split’s first 4-star hotel, the Park was voted the best small hotel in Croatia 3 years in a row (2005-2007). Each of the rooms is a combination of contemporary comfort and traditional elegance. The large terrace with its palm trees offers a typical and authentic Mediterranean atmosphere. The hotel is located next to the famous Bačvice beach (Blue Flag), a 10-minute walk from the center and a 5-minute walk from the ferry terminal and the bus and train stations. Hotel Rooms: 57

A beautiful building, Grand hotel style, lobby and garden from the beginning of 20th century. Nice receptionist with good service. Good discount on the room price. Very rriendly service at breakfast. In the evening there was a wedding going on in the garden with terrible music. It seems that they have this kind of parties more often. There was a lot of publicity for the hotel spa, but it was not possible to use it without massage and the staff was not present. So it was not open at saturday early afternoon. Bad coffee machine at breakfeast.

I stayed in hotel Park during a conference my company organized there. Conference room was excellent with all technical equipment and the staff was great. They really did their best to please all our requests. Food for lunch was a superb quality, the best I had for a long time. Front office stuff helped us with the advices and suggestions. They were more than friendly. One more thing I should definitely point out ... I was late for a breakfast, but really nice waiter offered me to sit in a restaurant and choose what I wish to eat for breakfast. Service is really great in hotel Park! I am coming soon again!

Staff are helpful and the hotel has a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. The hotel is a ten-minute walk from the centre of Split. There is a pretty dining terrace and bar area. The breakfast buffet was varied and plentiful. Our room was very small - hardly enough space to move around the edges of the bed. Additional furniture (two chairs and side table) had to be moved to open the window or wardrobe. No drawer space.

A hotel with an international grandeur. Marvelous garden with waving palms and the silence sound of the Adriatic sea. Excellent breakfast. We enjoyed the stay very much.

It was a little tired looking, was not value for money. the Reception staff on checking out was very rude due to confusion of city taxes and paying euros as per my confirmation with bookings.com - snapped at us, then ignored us - I wouldn't be going back

This hotel is very well located just behind the beach and an easy walk into the old town. It is a stunning building an our room had a great view over the park to the sea beyond. Service was generally very good. To get the best out of this hotel it really needs a revamp - the rooms are quite small and a little dated although very clean. And the breakfast on the perfect patio left a little to be desired and service seemed rather limited.

Absolutely perfect hotel if you want to be close to the beach and at the same time only 10 min walk to the old town. Staff is really trying to please you . Even if small things are not up to scratch they are so keen to get it right. I also enjoyed massage in their spa. I can't think of a better hotel to stay in Split. Miss breakfasts on their sunny terrace!

Fantastic location, next to a Blue Ribbon Beach away from the noise. Beautiful facilities and gardens / dining area Seen better days, faded glory. The rooms are in need of updating, a little expensive, however all of Split seems expensive

Not a lot really! The reception staff were not exactly what you might call friendly and when we checked in I pulled up to the electric barrier, walked to reception where two hotel staff members said that they would let me in. Having walked back to my car and waited for 5 minutes I walked back to reception and asked again! They said that they forgot! Our room on the third floor was described as "superior double" - I don´t think that this description truly reflected the room. The furnishings were old fashioned and rather drab. Of course the building is a beautiful period residence but the room fittings although old fashioned did not really do the building justice. The hotel is as stated only a few metres from the "blue flag beach" but, don´t go expecting an idyllic seafront location because you will be disappointed! The sunbathing area is made up predominently of concrete slabs and the many bars spanning the perimeter of the sea front are unfortunately scruffy and tacky in the most part. We did however enjoy an excellent evening meal in the outside dining area and the waiting staff were are stark contrast to the hotel receptionists, being both pleasant and helpful. One really big plus is the 15 minute evening stroll into Split old town - very beautiful, bustling and historic and definitely worth the trip.
