Pharos Hvar Bayhill Hotel

Das Hotel ist einzigartig schön gelegen: Hanglage mit Traumaussicht auf Meer und die vorgelagerten Inseln, mit eigener Poolanlage, umgeben von einem Pinienwald und nur ein paar Gehminuten zum Strand und ins Stadtzentrum Hvar. Angenehm grosse Superior Zimmer.

Das Pharos scheint seit den 50er Jahren keine nennenswerte Renovation mehr erfahren zu haben. Die idyllische Lage muss einen über diesen Missstand hinwegtrösten. Leider stört jeweils am späteren Nachmittag laute Disco-Musik aus der Nachbarschaft die ansonsten ruhige Ambience.

I only liked the location as it was near the harbour and near the sea.

This did not feel like a hotel it was not a pleasant experience. Rooms in serious need of renevation and the outside hotel had a terrible smell. No air con was a real problem. Breakfast was really poor and very basic. Would never stay there again.

We didn´t like it. It was very old and too expensive for that low quality. In Croatia they think the Tourists are stupid!! It´s a robbery! So much money, for NO quality. The building, the construction and the decoration are very poor. I don´t recomend it. Too expensive and bad for that price.

the location was nice,near the town of hvar and close to the beach.it had a nice pool as well

the reception stuff was not very helpful but the most important is that the hotel is old and abandoned in some areas,avoid ''mirta'' section were the rooms have no air-condition,is very noisy,the doors dont close without the key and from the 3 days we stayed they never cleaned the room

It is situated at a nice and central spot.

The breakfast is so bad. The beds are like from the year 1970 there were a lot of things not correct in the room. the shower overfloated/ could not hang the shower thing. so you have to held it in your hands.

Very run down. Rooms were appalling, holes on bed sheets & the bathroom was horrendous. Shoe string as a toilet flush. Mould on tiles & shower curtain. Shower hose filthy. As you ran water in the bath, water spurted up out of the bathroom floor shore. Left after 1 night - would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Staff gentile e cordiale (ci è stata data la camera vista mare anche per l'ultimo giorno, prenotato successivamente per questioni di traghetto, nonostante avessi prenotato una vista parco che costava di meno), niente aria condizionata ma tenendo la finestra aperta entrava una bella brezza marina e abbiamo dormito egregiamente. Comoda la piscina di cui però non abbiamo usufruito perchè interessati più al meraviglioso mare del luogo. Comodo anche il bar sottostante e la posizione dell'hotel (un po difficile da trovare all'arrivo perchè mezzo-nascosto in una pineta e non ci sono cartelli, ma cmq basta chiedere o prendere una cartina). Nella hall è possibile usufruire di internet. Buona e ricca la colazione.

In bagno entravano alcune formiche dalle piastrelle perchè un po sconnesse (ma comunque erano solo alcune formiche, niente di pericoloso/fastidioso) e un tubo perdeva sul pavimento qualche goccia ogni tanto (che poi cmq pulivano le signore della pulizie al mattino). Buona la colazione ma servono i cornetti solo fino alle 9-9:05, quindi era un po una guerra tra noi italiani. Niente ascensore ma c'è un collaboratore che cmq aiuta gli ospiti a portare le valigie. Se non si è troppo pretenziosi e puntigliosi direi che va benissimo per passare la vacanza ad Hvar.

No me ha gustado nada del hotel. Hotel caro, sucio, instalaciones malas y habitaciones viejas y muy sucias, el desayuno escaso y muy malo.Cuando nos dieron la habitacion, ni siquera habian vaciado las papeleras y estaban llenas de cosas de los anteriores clientes. No se lo recomiendo a nadie.

No me ha gustado nada este hotel

Comodo da raggiungere in macchina e per raggiungere le spiagge dell'isola. Ottima posizione per andre in centro (5 minuti di orologio a piedi)

Colazione così così, i bagni sembranno vecchi e sporchi (in verità sono solo vecchi, ma comunque puliti). Attenzione: chiedono o una cauzione cash o il numero della carta, ma non è valida quella a solo uso elettronico (con la quale si può però prenotare). La reception non è tra le più cortesi che ho trovato.
