Plitvice House  

We were made to feel very welcome & the owners were very helpful.

Great place to stay if you want to visit Plitvice Natural Park, which is only a few kilometers away (~10min by car). Owner/keeper was very kind, friendly and helpful. 1 shared bathroom for the 4 apartments of our floor (~8 people I think) but very clean.

Our room = 4 walls (1 with window), 1 roof and 2 beds and... That's it.

Great place to stay for a few days if you want to visit the lake region. The price is right for good quality. The appartments are owned by a man named Zjelko and taked care of by another younger man, who lives there, also named Zjelko. Young Zjelko is a very good host, friendly and has good tips and advice for guest who want to get the most out of the region. If you are here and have the time, drink a beer with young Zjelko and learn about the region and Croatian culture. There is no breakfast in these appartments but they have a deal with the neighbours were you get a very rich breakfast for only 5 euro's pp. For diner good restaurants are also nearby. I can I can recommend these appartments!

Staff was very informative about things to do in the area. You definetly need a car to get around. Since food is not served here, the staff made arrangements for us to have breakfast at a guesthouse down the road, a short walk. The breakfast was filling and at a great price.

The owners were very welcoming and couldn't do enough to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Whilst there was no food available they had arranged breakfast at another family hotel a few minutes walk away. For morning tea and coffee the owner went to a lot of trouble to open up his own private kitchen for us and another guest. (I have suggested he puts a kettle in the rooms). I would recommend this to anybody visiting the Pitivice Lakes as a place to stay. We particularly enjoyed the old log cabin restaurant by the Lakes entrance which was recommened by the host.

Bath and toilet are shared with another room. There isn't any furniture inside the room, no T.V. In fact apart from a desk outside the house there is not any place to stay inside the house.

Wir hatten ein ganzes Souterrain mit 2 Schlafzimmern und einem Bad für uns. Zimmer waren sehr sauber und der junge Zjelko war sehr aufgeschlossen und gastfreundlich. Er spricht sehr gut Englisch und hat gute Tipps auf Lager.

Lo abbiamo trovato un po' troppo spartano.

Accueil très sympa, bonne localisation par rapport à l'entrée du parc. Pas de petit déjeuner mais le propriétaire nous a envoyé chez sa soeur qui tient une maison d'hôte à 300m (excellent petit déjeuner)

We werden hartelijk ontvangen, de gastheer weet veel over de omgeving en is bereid om je overal mee te helpen. Deze locatie als uitvalsbasis om naar de Plitvice meren af te reizen is uitstekend. Simpele kamer, prima badkamer en dito ontbijt met een zeer goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding.

De hond die ergens achteraf ons tot 3 uur 's nachts wakker hield. Geen opmerkingen over het hotel, gewoon prima in de eenvoud!

Freundlichkeit der Besitzer, Empfehlung für Frühstück im Nachbarhaus Tina war sehr gut. Möglichkeit unsere Fahrräder sicher unterzustellen. Zimmer mit Balkon auch sehr schön. Möglichkeiten zum Essengehen sind in der näheren Umgebung zu erreichen. Rundum fühlten wir uns total wohl!
