Location, facilities, staff, food all excellent. Lots of space, peace and quiet and an excellent spa. Hotel shuttle not regular enough, costly compared to local bus service, and only catered for a maximum of 20 people.

Hi, Our only complaint was my sister fell on the steps and the hotel rep promised us wine , bread. free transport to hospital, hospital expenses etc. none of this was true, we did complaint at the desk but were offered a bottle of wine. I think a resort of this nature should have all staff properly trained Helen

We were aware that the hotel wasn't located in Dubrovnik city itself, before we booked. We were still a little dissappointed when we did arrive at the hotel that we hadn't perhaps stayed in the city itself for part of our weeks holiday. (It was a 15 min drive back into town by rental car, or shuttle bus (charged for) or worse still Taxi €20 plus). We stayed in a Sea view apartment & it was spotless & spacious with good facilities (we had a few minor glitches such as a non locking patio door & a missing curtain, but they were fixed after a few phone calls). Overall, the facilities such as pools & Spa were excellent, as were the staff. We would single out the house keeping staff, the seamstress (who expertly repaired two ripped garments!) and the bar staff in the hotel for special praise. Dominick was knowledgeable on Croatian history & geography & is a great & friendly asset to the hotel. The steps!!! The trek from pool to apartment was OK for us younger visitors, but those who dont like walking up several steps would be best advised to stay in the hotel itself. The restaurants were OK, nut fantastic. The Bakery was fairly priced, but had a very limited menu. The more expensive hotel a la carte restaurant wasn't very good we thought. Hence we ate out frequently in Dubrovnik or local villages. finally, the shuttle should run much later at night & at more frequency! However, we would love to stay there again.

Breakfast was simply awful, one of the worst I have had in my life... When we asked for a fruit plate late evening, they just brought us the leftover fruit from the breakfast buffet in the morning, which wasn't anything near fresh...

Nice room (junior suite). Nice terrace. Pleasant breakfast room. Attentive staff. Not happy with hotel taxi service - provided without option of paying driver directly and at a mark up of about 75%.on the going rates. Bookable only through in house travel desk. Felt like a shakedown! Cool showers each morning. Those looking for night life will find this hotel extremely quiet. Maybe due to time of year. Pretty expensive restaurant - not sure west end prices are appropriate to Dubrovnik.

Fantastic hotel! Best service. The rooms are very comfortable and well furnished. Design at the highest level. Gourmet cuisine - lots of different restaurants. Many places to rest - swimming pools, beach and very elegant spa. We are happy to come back to this place!

The resort is beautiful and the staff very friendly and professional. There was a variety of things to do, even in the off-season when many things are still closed. The restaurant Tartuffo was very delicious, we highly recommend the oysters as an appetizer. There wasn't anything we really didn't like. However, we were a little surprised that the resort was 12 km outside of the old/walled city Dubrovnik and were wanting something closer. Our destination was the old city rather than things like the beaches, etc. in the area. It worked out very well in the end because the apartment was spacious and comfortable and there were a lot of things to do with the kids and the resort is well located to do other things in the area as well. The only other issue may be more with the design of the resort and accessibility with strollers (or people in wheelchairs, etc.). The resort is accessible via the main building (which is good), however, the resort is very large and there is no way to access the facilities at the opposite end from the main hotel with strollers, wheelchairs, or for individuals who have problems with stairs and need to use elevators or ramps. We are healthy and this gave us a chance to walk around, however, this could be difficult for others.

Nice hotel but not 5 stars. Food average however staff were very accomodating.Very isolated location. Prices very high. This is not a hotel to visit for a holiday out of season. During the off season all outside facilities within the complex which are advertised on hotel website are closed and considering its location journeys to Dubrovnik and beyond are extremely costly. Night life in the hotel when we were there was non existent and even the dining rooms were empty. A word of advise stay away from this hotel until high season kicks in.

Huge luxorious apartments, far beyond my expectations. Poor access to the apartments with baby pram, no elevators there at all. We had to wait almost two hours upon arrival to have one of the main floor apartments ready to get in.

I loved the location, the design of the resort, the heated pool, the sea view appartment, the spa, the luxuriousness, the staff, the restaurants and the size of the resort. The price of the breakfast in the main hotel.

I stayed at the resort with 2 friends and the 3 thought that everything was outstanding. The facility itself is spectacular with everything you could ever wish for including the most stunning scenery imaginable. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived until the moment we reluctantly left. The staff were excellent, the food was delicious, the rooms were spotless, functional and beautiful. I speak for the 3 of us when I say I can't recommend this hotel more hightly. There was nothing that we didn't like about the hotel. If pressed for an answer, the drive into the old town was about 20 minutes on twisting and turning roads that are not lit at night. However, this would not deter us from staying at the hotel again. In fact, we all plan to be back!
