Rezidencija Skiper Suites  

We arrived at Skiper Suites on a day with the worst storm man could remember. We couldn’t see more than three feet in front of the car and got no impression of how the area around was. Luckily our gps knew where to take us or else we would be lost. The reception surprised me – more like a cramped office than a hotel reception. But the staff were very friendly and helpful explaining all the necessary and guiding us to our suite. Skiper Suites is in a large resort, but still built in a way that you don’t feel overcrowded by other holidaymakers. The suites are in smaller residential houses scattered around like a small town. There are streets in-between so (if you have car) you can drive right up to “your” building. Next to the door there are garages with one parking-space a suite. You need a remote control to open the gate to enter the area by car so there is no other traffic in the streets than the holiday makers living there. It’s next to none traffic and still quite safe for small children. The buildings have elevators so you don’t have to worry dragging the entire luggage up stairs and through corridors. Only 4 suites pr floor and only 4 floors. The elevator stopped only a few meters from your front door. The suites were large, spacious and with most every conceivable comfort. Even if described in the hotels Internet-site it’s still impressive. We were only two persons so suite Superior was more than sufficient for us. The beds were comfortable with good mattresses (not hard). The balcony was furnished with two great sunbeds, two chairs and a table. Bathroom, toilet, living room, dining area and kitchen were all as described at the hotel’s site. Fire-and burglar alarm and safe and SOS-device made it very safe. There were also video-surveillance over the whole area and guards constantly foot patrolled the streets and all made it feel like a very safe place to be.

When we made our reservation for a suite we were promised "an enticing sea view", which were one of the strong points for us. We were greatly disappointed when there were almost no sea view at all. All we could see was a large villa in front of us and if looking carefully we got a glance of the sea between some trees. We made a complaint and were surprised they did nothing more than say they were sorry. No attempt to rectify the problem with offering another suite or at least give us some sort of compensation since the sea view is strongly emphasize when "selling" the suites. If ordering a suite I recommend you contact the hotel and make them aware you expect the sea view. If you like to get around it's an advantage to have a car of your own (rental?) The resort is in a rater desolated place and so is Savudrija. The nearest town, Umag, was not much appealing either, but at lest you could get to the most necessaries, such as pharmacy, postal office etc. We also found it odd that a four star resort is not able to give us Internet access in the apartments. As far as I know you could get (some) free wi-fi in the pool- and beach-bar and restaurant area. Maybe some other places too, but late at night I'm not up to walk to one of those places to log on. I suggest they make wi-fi available over the whole resort. It can't be too difficult to manage. For walking disabled it will be almost impossible to go down to the beach area. You have to go down some very steep slopes and steps to get there. I'm partially walking disabled and I needed a lot of help from hubby to be able get up again. (down is no problem for me ;-) I know algeas grows fast, but I suggest the resort makes an effort to keep the steps into the sea more free of them. As they were now they were quite slippery and dangerous if you didn't tread carefully. It must be possible to have maintenance more often on these steps to make them easier to use - also for us with not too steady legs..

Super clean, spacious, very well equipped! We had a very nice time, and we are looking forward to go back next year. The only inconvenience is that the internet connection is not free of charge and it isnonly available at the bar. Hopefully they will do sg about this.

Skiper Suits are incredible! It feels like having your own apartment in the residential complex on the sea side. It extremely clean and very well equipped (the only thing missing by our opinion is a laundry machine) with all branded kitchen appliances, kitchen clothes and kitchenware you might need. Previously mentioned sea view is amazing and you can enjoy it from a terrace big enough to have dinner with another 2-3 friends. The location is 7 kilometers from the city of Umag, or 10- 12 minute car ride, which is more than ok. You get all the silence of not being in the city, but you're close enough to it. And you have Kempinsky just nearby, should you wish a fancy meal or just a nice espresso with a pool view. And I have to mention very professional and helpful staff working there - receptionists, cleaning lady and janitor (who repaired our tv in 15 minutes from our call). We'll definitely come back for 10 days in July or August, which is the best recommendation that I can give. And an advice: if you like good olive oil, there is an amazing farm nearby selling domestic olive oil and olive leaf tea. The name is "Farma Jola" and we were astonished how high-tech their production process is. And word of advice - Istrian olive oil is quite spicier and... Well rougher than for example Tuscan. I love it, but it's not for everyone. Well worth trying.

Nice apartment, fully equipped

Понравилось расположение аппартаменов, хорошо спланированная и ухоженная территория, в прекрасном состоянии здания и сами номера. Номера ежедневно и тщательно убирают, белье меняют по необходимости, полотенца меняют каждый день и их много. Вход в бассейн по магнитной карте, имеется бар и достаточно лежаков с зонтиками. Пляж также хорошо обустроен и оборудован. Все это позволяет очень комфортно отдыхать с маленьким ребенком.

Есть и небольшие минусы - вода в детском бассейне была холоднее чем в море, хотя глубина там всего по колено. Дорога на пляж имеет очень сильный уклон, что удобно при спуске коляски туда, но очень затрудняет ее подъем наверх. В номере маловато посуды и отсутствует электрический чайник. Нет и кофеварки, имеется маленький кофейничек для приготовления кофе на плите.

In der 2. Woche (Nebensaison) waren die Einrichtungen an Strand und Pool teilweise geschlossen.

Подорожували сімейно 2 дорослих+3дітей Все супер! Бронювали сімейні апартаменти... а по приїзду запропонували вілу! Віла Тіна - двухповерховий окремий будинок з вишуканими меблями, на кожному поверсі вітальня і дві спальні, повністю укомплектована кухня, +посудомийна і пральна машина, велика тераса з лежаками, кожна кімната має окремий санвузол. Всі в захваті. Море як на долонях. Пляж поруч. Є дитячий басейн з невеличкими гірками. басейн для дорослих. Окрема подяка персоналу ! Шоденне прибирання, великі мякі рушники і халати, і багато - багато дрібничок які відрізняють гарний відпочинок від вишуканого. Тенісні корти і гольф клуб - 300 - 500 м

Super sauber und gepflegt......TOP Security. Eine fast volkommene Ferienanlage mit den schönsten App**** die ich je gesehen habe. Für Familien die beste Adresse in Istrien.

Ein Badesteeg würde bestimmt für Abwechselung am Strand sorgen. W-lan nur stundenweise an den Restaurants und keine Möglichkeit im App. Ins Internet zu kommen.........schade.

W rezydencji podobało nam się wszystko! Wspaniały apartament, przestronny, rewelacyjnie wyposażony, czysty, obłędny widok z tarasu. Przede wszystkim cicho, można odpocząć! Te apartamenty zasługują na 5* !!! Polecam wszystkim, którzy cenią spokój, miłą ,nie rozwrzeszczaną atmosferę na basenie, bez głośnej muzyki !!! bez animacji !!! Nareszcie znaleźliśmy wspaniałe miejsce na urlop, gdzie często będziemy wracać!

Bardzo dobre miejsce na pobyt z malymi dziecmi. Nasze byly zachwycone iloscia miejsca do zabawy. Obsluga mila I bez problemowa Polecam 100% zadowolenia.

отель замечательный! все новое,и мебель, и бытовая техника в кухне фирмы Miele. огромная терраса с плетенной мебелью(у нас был suite 120 метров) шикарное месторасположение,рядом только отель кемпински и несколько вил,тихо спокойно,свой пляж,охрана пускает только посетителей отеля!нам понравилось очень!для взрослых рекомендуем!

sehr gute Ausstattung des Appartments, großzügige Gestaltung der Anlage, wirklich schöner Strandbereich, Hilfsbereitschaft der Mitarbeiter in der Rezeption,

Poolbereich ist im Verhältnis zum Rest der Anlage nicht groß genug; für einen längeren Aufenthalt liegt die Anlage etwas abgeschieden (ohne Auto ist nichts erreichbar)

La posizione è bella, e le camere sono comode.

L'organizzazione della spiaggia è molto carente..pochi ombrelloni..bagnino quasi assente (per cui a noi hanno rubato l'ombrellone in nostra assenza senza che lo stesso dicesse nulla)..frigo bar inesistente..

Schöne neue Anlage, da Anfang Juni kaum sonstige Gäste, gutes Essen.

Wasser war Anfang Juni im Pool noch bei 20-22 Grad, auch im Kinderbecken. Zugang zum Meer leider nur als Betonblock mit 1,5 Metern Abstand zum Meeresspiegel. Zugang zum Meer nur über Stiegen. Für Kinder nicht so günstig.

Die tolle Ausstattung der Suite und auch die Gestaltung der gesamten Anlage.

Keine Sonne auf der Terasse da die Anlage nicht Süd/West ausgerichtet ist. Kein Restaurant und keine Bar in der Anlage offen (erst ab Juni)

La suite è molto ampia e luminosa; molto bella la vista, anche se l'accesso al mare è un po' lungo.

Il ristorante del residence era chiuso; era utilizzata la clubhouse del Golf Club Kempinski per la colazione, che non abbiamo potuto fare perchè mancavano le brioches e qualsiasi altra cosa da mangiare (resort 5 stelle!).

Strand, Pool, Restaurant

Lage

Sehr gepflegte Anlage mit tollem Service für ein Appartement (tägliche Grundreinigunge und frische Handtücher).

Dass alle Einrichtungen (Pool-Bar, Strand-Bar) offensichtlich am Tag unserer Anreise (15.09.) geschlossen wurden und es nur möglich war im Supermarkt zu Getränken zu kommen. Zumindest ein Hinweis darauf im Vorfeld wäre wünschenswert gewesen.

Poloha, výhľad, pekné prostredie, dobré možnosti pre individuálnu turistiku a šport

Za 200 Eur/noc žiadne služby v cene tipu wellness (okrem fitka). Jedine wellness v hoteli Kempinski za štandardné ceny (pre ľudí mimo hotela). Na izbe nedopĺňanie hygienických potrieb, v kuchynke okrem 3 tabliet do umývačky riadu, žiadne čistiace prostriedky.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Suite im 2. Stock mit schönem Blick auf das Meer und die slowenische Küste, bei gutem Wetter konnte man sogar die italienische Küste sehen. Schlafzimmer mit komfortablen Bett und Meerblick vom Bett aus.. Leider steht ein Fernseher nur im Wohnzimmer. Man kann ihn aber selbst ins Schlafzimmer stellen, oder der Rezeption Bescheid geben. Schöne Einrichtung. Das Sofa im Wohnzimmer lässt sich auch als Schlafsofa nutzen, ist allerdings nur etwa 1,80 m lang. Der Balkon ist mit Dedon-Möbeln ausgestattet: zwei Liegen und ein Tisch mit 4 Stühlen. Gute Kücheneinrichtung, einschl. Spülmaschine. Selber mitbringen sollte man allerdings (wenn man es braucht): Holzkochlöffel, Salz-/Pfefferstreuer und Eierbecher. Sonst ist alles da, was man für die Zubereitung einfacher Malzeiten braucht, einschl. Kaffeemaschine, Espressokanne und Pürierstab. Auch ein Tiefkühler ist vorhanden. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und bemüht. Wir mussten gleich am Anfang ein beginnendes Wespennest am Balkon melden. Innerhalb von 10 Minuten wurde es weggemacht. Das aus versehen fehlende Telefon wurde nach Reklamation sofort gebracht und der Wasserhahn im Bad, der durch Kalk verstopft war, wurde innerhalb von 3 Stunden repariert. Man hört etwas den Kinderlärm vom Pool, aber nicht weiter störend. Abends ab ca. 20.00 Uhr ist es ruhig. Obwohl das Haus, in dem unsere Suite lag, voll besetzt war, hörte man keinen Lärm der Nachbarn. Ich kann allerdings nicht sagen, wie es lärmmäßig ist, wenn man eine Suite im 1. Stock hat und über einem noch evtl. Leute herum laufen. Vielleicht sollte man bei der Reservierung um eine Suite im obersten Stockwerk bitten. Viel Platz am Strand und ausreichend Liegen und Sonnenschirme. Sehr zu empfehlen auch die "VIP-Terrasse" mit geposterten Liegen direkt über dem Meer gelegen mit wunderschönem Ausblick und Service der Beach-Bar. (Kosten: 100 hrk extra pro Tag und Liege/Sonnenschirm). Dadurch das dort keine Kinder sind, ist es auch schön ruhig.

Ein 2. Fernseher im Schlafzimmer wäre angebracht gewesen. Auch sollte einmal unter dem Bett und unter dem Waschbecken Staub gewischt werden. Ansonsten bis in die Kleinigkeiten hinein alles ok. In der Hauptsaison etwas teuer; aber dafür bekommt man auch etwas!

Wahrscheinlich einer der schönsten Residenzen in Kroatien, egal ob Lage, Ausstattung, Service, einfach wunderbar.

Schöne Lage und großzügige Appartements. Guter Gesamteindruck.

Tennisspielen sollte kostenlos sein, aber für die Tennisschläger-Ausleihe wurden nachträglich über 10 Euro berechnet. Liegen waren teilweise knapp, so dass man nur noch die "VIP-Liegen" nehmen konnte und dafür etwa 15 Euro pro Person zahlen musste.
