Günstige Lage, geräumiges Zimmer, ordentliches Frühstücksbuffett. Modriger Allgemeinzustand. Hotel ist renovierungsbedürftig. |

The location is ideal - just minutes' walk to the Colliseum and other historic sights, and the waterfront. Our room faced the waterfront and we had a terrace. We liked the included breakfast buffet on the terrace restaurant. Also, there is parking on the street right at the door of the hotel and there is an apartment building across the street where we parked and no one noticed we didn't live at the apartment building. The front desk staff were very helpful with directions. We were given the room key and when we went to our room I noticed the room and bathroom had not been cleaned from the previous guest. The staff was quick to send the cleaning staff up to our room and it was then cleaned. The bathroom was clean but after our first night, the bathroom smelled like bad fish. It was really horrible. |

Location was great. We could see the amphitheater in Pula from our room and our room from the amphitheater. Good choice of food at breakfast, which was served on a terrace. The stone structure on the outside of the hotel is appealing. The rugs were tattered, there were holes in the sheets, and there was no shower curtain or glass door around the bathtub in the bathroom. The paint is peeling off the wooden window frames. This hotel is in serious need of renovaton! |

Beautiful and grandiose building reflecting it's former glory in many ways while waiting for a much needed restoration. Worn out carpet can be acceptable but stains are not. |

The location is the best asset It's extremely run down and dirty in places. The place has a tremendous potential to become a 5 star hotel. The owners should do something about it. |

After bad reviews a bit wary but the Riviera was perfectly sited overlooking the harbour and ampitheatre.Carpets threadbare but room spacious, beds comfortable, hot water worked.Great terrace bar with beer cheaper than many places in town.Staff friendly and helpful.Bill in kunas which made it cheaper than euros. Breakfast was average like many continentals.Coffee machine awful and fruit juice tasteless. |

The historic value of the hotel and its surroundings. It was a bit pricey for the services you recieve/don't recieve, and we had one rude server at breakfast. I thought it was strange that for the price we paid we were not even offered dinner - only breakfast! |

Close to town. Pleasant outlook with a nice sea view. Good size double room.Very helpful staff. decor of hotel is very tired. Our bathroom was immaculately clean but very very smelly.Nights were cold (no heating on) but hotel did provide extra blankets upon request. |

A beautiful looking hotel in the heart of Pula. Just a shame that on the inside it was old, damp and not very comfy, nor clean. The breakfast was very poor. |

The only good thing this hotel has going for it is its location. It is near the train and bus stations. The hotel receptionist helped us get a taxi to go to Trieste since the only bus left at 6:00 am. It was in disrepair and the carpeting was all stained. Also, there was not enough staff. The same person who took our orders for dinner was also working the bar, so it took a long time to order our food. |
