Staff and Facilities were first Class.
Prices for Laundry are Extortinate and Breakfast in Resturant was very poor.
discovered this place while cycling when away as two adults earlier in the year and thought it would be great to return with the grandchildren. An ideal choice as they are water lovers and location and proximity to sea is fab with pleanty of activites. Self catering villa was useful for flexibility with meal times etc. Had a day at the new aqua park which was great. Used the land train to explore in both directions. A good 4 days overall.
Buffet restaurant and pool bar food was dire and expensive, didn't try the more upmarket restaurants but hope they are better. Little information on what was happening in and around resort, could hear music each night but not sure where from. Be aware that people from the UK are in the minority at the resort so kids clubs and children meeting others to play with coudl be restricted but wans't an issue for us.
Location is really nice. Villas are located directly on the beach and in the pine forest. We were in the double bedroom villa. It was 4 of us. Enough space and all the things.
In the weekend we really heard the music from the beach bar next to villas. It can make a problem to sleep. It was September, but I ve heard that during July and August disco is Daily! Fridge is very small like minibar, so it make us go shopping every second day or daily, but food was always fresh))) Cleaning was somedays missed, but it doesn't hurt us at all.
Location is really impressiv
The ants in the kitchen and in the living room. We were 3 families and before we are arriving we asked if its possible to be together. On day of arriving the staff tell us that for the price they don't have 3 villas close together. Only for 100 euro on top. We saw there were a plenty of them not occupied. The villas doesn't have the heating possibilities.
Place is great, well equipped villas surrounded by pine forest, really great place to stay.
We have had a great experience every of the several times we have been there. This time though, we have brought two other families and, in spite of calling and writing in advance, they were not able to give us villas beside each other. The only possibility was if we paid each of us some extra money. This was really disappointing, I did expect better service.
Very good resort for young families with kids. Highly recommended.
there were no washing machine and no dishwasher in the villa.
Lots of facilities nice restaurants Supermarket on site Location
Airco didn't work. It wasn't 'warm' enough outside. After several requests they did turn it on for us. Just for a few days. Last two days it was turned of again. Cleaning ladies had no regards for do not disturb sign. They woke up our baby 4 times. Kitchen lacked cooking pan and coffeemaker. Room is quite small if you stay with 4. We were with 3 and were already a bit crammed. We payed over 140 euro a night and that was not value for money. Rooms also need fixing up. For example we had to keep the towel heater in bathroom on because else it would leak. Lid of dustbin was broken and not fixed (we did request it). Sheets not changed in the 12 days we stayed.
The resort is nicely located and offers many water sport facilities for young & old.
Too expensive for families with children ...we booked with 2 kids in Istrian Villas and had to pay extras for aquapark and sunbeds while the price for the room was already pretty high, ca 250€/night. Too many facilities are not included in the lodging costs. The rental bikes at the sports club were in very bad condition and expensive. The worst thing is the noise during nights until ca 3AM ?!....its quite impossible to have a good night rest in this resort due to disco noise around the resort. The resort should offer free bikes as the distances from room to other locations within the resort are substantial.....
the place itself is very nice and beautiful
too overpriced, extremely loud music at 9-11pm, and till 6am on Fri-Sun
perfect seaside view, relaxed place
Location is great. Staff very helpful and polite. Food in the restaurants is decent. Wifi worked ok. No cars inside the village.
All the nights were very noisy. Forget about a good night sleep. Villas as pictured on the booking sites are their best and most expensive units. The single family villa we booked was not even close to those pictures. The bath tub was non working when we arrived, but they dod fix it immediately. The safe in the room offers only instructions in Russian language. Needed someone from the staff to open it for us. Even after commenting several times about this, all we got was ''yes..we know"...didn't feel very welcome at that moment. Lots of Russians, thry are different in behaviour when compared to Europeans...keep that in mind. The worst thing of all...pool. As we have young children, we were auding the outside pool, like most of the other families. Tje chairs beside the pool get "reserved" with a towel early in the morning. Even do we were almost first to the pool, we couldn't get a chair. ...the people with "reservations" came long after us. There is a big sign....no reservations of the chairs ....so I went to the pool attendanr for some assistance.....he told me...'you gusts need to work it out between each other'. And top of the top..... This is a fmily used primarily by the families....and the pool attendants do not allow any extras in the pool. By extras I mean any rubber ducky, flippers, and aid for the swimming, anything on the had...nothing. Imagine a pool occupies by young kids...having to keep all their toys...even the footware...outside the pool. Some of the attendants were closing one eye, as this really ridiculous....but some were very agressive, even confronting the children... My daughter of 4 years was so upset, ai couldn't get her back to the pool, once this guy told her she can not have a small plastic bucket which she played with.. Overall..of you like to go out at night, don't have young children...this is probably a good place for you. If you have a young family....think twice.
Bungalow was ok, not 5 star but ok. Location was good, sea is crystal clear
The facilities at the resort are shared with a camp site and with the local people, not a private beach. Hot water and pressure was rarely available. All sunbeds had towels on them by 08.00 to "reserve" them. Nobody ever checks if people using facilities are staying at the resort. My recommendation is to pay the 200 euro extra and stay at the Kempinski hotel which is fantastic 8km up the road.
Fantastic location. Friendly staff. Totally not crowdy. Always chairs free at beach. Superb !!
For an accomodation like that a doctor should be on the premises all day.
Beaches are not well equipped and can be dangerous for kids. Cleaning was poor. Restaurants in the hotel are expensive.
perfect location big villas
very poor bed ;-(
I loved the o'grill restaurant close to the seaside, it was perfect
more umbrellas are needed at the pool there
Super reception, thanks to Kristine and collegues; biovillage and only small electric cars!, perfect with children! Please build a sauna for next time. alberto
Great value for the money, great location close to the sea side, relaxation and privacy, very nice and helpful staff.
Beautiful location on the water. Relaxation at its best
Buffet was nit good but the grill and mare e monti were great
Great location, friendly staff, big appartment with 2 bathrooms, good quality of homeware (dinner plates, glasses..)
Kitchen could equiped better(kitchen accessories missing..wine opener..etc)
It's a fantastic place, very good atmosphere. We were there just after their season opening day, so everything was really calm. The villas are nice, we loved their restaurant, many choices, good food. Good sport facilities are available. It was cold to swim in April, but the sea view is beautiful and the pools looked also nice.
It was cold when we arrived, 17 degrees in the villa! They could not give us any heating equipment. :-(
