Was staying 6 nights in the hotel late August. Hotel is nicely designed and decorated, classic serious hotel style, with attention to details. But it's an old construction, completely refurbished. Still it has some limitations of the old building. It's a labyrinth until you get used to it. Rooms are of very different kind, some have balconies some don't, all kinds of orientations and views. None have real sea view because a park is between the hotel and the sea. A first CON is the noise coming from beach bar and, early in the morning, from the tennis academy. Also the walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors if they are loud. Apart from that, rooms are comfortable and have all you need, nicely decorated, with some limitations of the old building. Cleaning is also properly done, almost perfectly. So 4/5 for rooms.
Location is good, although in a very large resort, with different kind of facilities and which target all possible customer types. So you will find every possible customer type here. In a waking proximity there is not much to do, except one club (Saint&Sinner). No restaurants, cafes, sightseeing. If you are a sports fan, which I am not, you have plenty to find in this resort, especially tennis. 3/5. For those coming with a car, there are interesting places to go, most at under one hour driving distance.
Food is ok, not really 5*, but ok. You also have a la carte restaurant where food is better, but have to wait 15 minutes for the bill. 3/5
Services are good, not really for a 5* hotel, but not far. The staff is well trained, speaks at least 3 languages, and is doing their best. What's missing is a personal touch, somehow you feel you're in a hotel chain, that you're a guest of the hotel industry. 4/5 for services.
Every night there are live concerts, some of them really good. Night bar is not open as advertised. You still can have a drink at the casino.
