It was in a beautiful location overlooking the Adriatic Sea. Buses leave every 15 mins or so out the front of the hotel. Breakfasts included in price were brilliant. It is a long way from the Old Town. We found dinner menu comprehensive but rather expensive. |

Stayed at the Uvala, not the Splendid: the room was large and very nice. We also used the indoor swimming pool. Think the evening buffet dinner was over-priced. |

Excellent breakfast and pleasant helpful friendly staff. Very good bus service into Dubrovnik Old Town. The advertised internet access in the room was not available so unable to use own laptop and had to pay to use hotel public computer. |

Location was good, we were right near the beach and the old town was only a 15 bus ride from the hotel. Bus stop was right outside our hotel. Buffet breakfast was quite good. Decor was very very old |

Hotel Splendid was great, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. This hotel is on the quiter part of Lapad bay, with the beautiful gardens and view. The rooms are basic, but clean and with the lovely view. The hotel is great choice for Dubrovnik - much nicer than other larger, more expensive and very corporate looking hotels. Food at breakfast and in the restaurant was basic, fresh. If you are vegetarian, you will struggle. The best option was going to the town and looking for places serving pasta. |
