Location in the old time was excellent. In the heart of the town great apartments, rooms were comfortable and very clean. The owner and the other staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. It was even possible to order transportation from Split Airport. Everything was great just great!

I write travel guides for a living, and I can say that this is probably the best room I've ever stayed in at this price (in Europe at least), so at €40 a night it has to be one of the better value options in Split. Everything in the room seemed first-rate, and you can tell that the young couple who run it put a lot of effort into the details. One window has a great view of a small square and some rooftops (we were on the 2nd floor). Just an outstanding place to stay all the way around - it even smelled great! The only downside is that the other window faces a small but exceedingly popular bar/party street, so at the weekends (and one would assume the entire summer) the the noise from the crowd below is deafening - meaning that if you're a light sleeper and don't want to be up till 2-3am, perhaps you should look elsewhere. It also seems like a few independent owners have pooled their accommodation under one name on Booking (ie Split City Breaks), but I would assume that all the facilities are up to similar standards - we stayed at Dosud Apartments.

The location of the apartment just in the old center of Split, in the middle of day and night life. Excellent welcoming and help from the owner Lidia. Nothing. Everything was great.

Location in the heart of the old town is excellent. The room as well as the bathroom were quite small but nicely repaired. Air conditioning was efficient and kept the room cool also on very hot days. The location is very, very noisy! The nearest bar is just below the windows and all the yelling and music can be hear in the room through the one-glass windows. As soon as the drunken customers have gone the trashmen and cleaners start. We were not that disturbed by the noise but it might be quite bad to more sensitive people.

Very efficient staff, very helpful, friendly and easily reached my telephone/face to face. Arranged airport transfers for our journey home - provided the personal touch and everything felt hassle free! The apartment is located within a labyrinth of lovely cobbled streets with plenty of hidden gem restaurants and bars. Ask staff to recommend restaurants - great sea food! As pre-warned, the apartment is in a rather noisy corner of the courtyard - music is rather loud but only on the weekends - easily solved with earplugs if you need an early night.

The owners were most accomodating and helpful. It was an amartment, so naturally they were not there all the time. We arrived later than expected, and they made every effort to gt to us as quickly as possible. They were very informative about the city and made great recommendations of places to check out. The only complaints are that the drain in the shower was not very good, and there were no supplies (the only toilet paper available was what was left over from the previous visitors).

Split City Breaks isn't a hotel. It's a combination of flats or even rooms in different parts of the city. We lived not far from the old town and the harbour so it was good for excursions over the city and to the islands. Cooking facilities were excellent: a lot of tableware, a big fridge, a microwave, a nice oven. It is important if you travel with children. Our flat was on the attic floor, it was stuffy in the bedrooms during night time cause there is only one air-conditioner in the living room. We had to open the windows though it was very noisy outside especially at 5-6 o'clock A.M. when they collected garbage. Then it was awfully inconvenient to take a shower: tiny space and impossibility to adjust water temperature. It was either hot or cold. Terrible with our baby. By the way, there;s a picture of Jucuzzi in this bathroom at the site if I'm not mistaken. Mind, it never worked!!! Some other small nuisances like one socket for Wi-Fi, tea-pot, microwave in the kitchen or idle dishwasher could have been eliminated after our departure. And one more point: if you have children better find a place near the beach. It took 25 minutes to come to the beache from the flat under the roof (can't remember the name of the street)

We found both the apartment and the service excellent. Especially the owner himself who made our visit unforgettable. This all thanks to ideas of what to do and friendly approach. Our apartment was extremely central, litterly the city outside our front door.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and even carried our bags from the office the short walk round to the apartment. We stayed in an apartment on Iza Loze which was an excellent location right in the centre of the old town/palace walls. It is newly decorated, clean, modern - perfect for a visit to Split. Given the central location there can be a little noise at night.
